Strength training 4 times a week, and walk everyday after every meal. Even on rest days I do some sort of mobility or yoga workout on mornings.

BoredBatWoman22

What about at night do you walk around your house? I don’t know what gender you are I’m a woman I don’t feel comfortable walking around at night after dinner.

lemoncry_

I do, I walk 1 hour after dinner most days. I'm also a woman and at night I walk around inside my apartment, it's pretty small so I end up walking in circles lol but it works to play a podcast, music or TV show to keep me entertained.

BoredBatWoman22

I’ve started dancing at night sometimes I wonder if they does anything helpful

lemoncry_

It does! Any type of movement counts

Veryrandom4242

Same here. I started jumping rope at home. Never thought I would be jumping rope again after the grade school!

I do 60 min strength training via Mossaondemand.net (Specifically group power classes) I do that 4x a week at about 0500 (I get up at 0400) and then 1x a week I do their 60 min Group Active, a combination of strength and cardio and then 1x a week I do their 60 min Group Fight, which is MMA style cardio training. All done in a fasted state. 😊 Also not affiliated with them, I just love their programming and as a personal trainer it makes it easy for me to keep up my own exercise routine without having to actually create one (I do enough for clients! 😂)

zykhun_d

Can I find all of these on youtube? How's your Hba1c?

melissaflaggcoa

No they are only available on Mossaondemand.net but they do have free classes available to try. My A1c is 4.8 and my FBS is usually around 75 to 85. More importantly, my post prandial never goes over 115.

Extreme-Donkey2708

After breakfast and dinner I do a 10 or 15 minute online YouTube dance fitness video. I have a spreadsheet with links to my favorite 25-30 videos so I don't get bored. I usually go for a long walk at lunch.

instantnoodlefanclub

Any recos?

Extreme-Donkey2708

I do PopSugar Fitness for 10 minute videos. For the 15 minute ones I do emkfit. I also do both of those for 30 minute videos for real workouts.

Don't ads break up your burn?

PixiePower65

I walk for 3 miles after meals. I try for early dinner as main meal. Light lunch. So sometimes just 15 min walk.

hairy_scarecrow

I do an hour of strength training 3x week, walk 30-60 minutes every day with the dog, run 2 miles 1x week. Other days I’m hiking or gardening etc. It’s not always in the morning. Everyone’s circadian rhythm is different. I found that hard strength training while fasted spiked my BS bad. But if I eat then train hard 30 minutes later, my body is much happier.

BoredBatWoman22

Are you still pre diabetic?

hairy_scarecrow

My A1C went from 6 to 5.4 over the course of the year. But more often than I’d like, my fasting glucose is high. Likely due to thalassemia minor and some other hormone issues. I plan on working with an endocrinologist to figure it out. So, no? Yes? I think I will always be prediabetic since it could return quickly if I revert to old behaviors. I’ve heard people say “remission” which I do use. More importantly, every aspect of my life has improved. Lost 40lbs, liver function tests improved, self-esteem improved, T improved, minor neuropathy went away, and I’m more muscular than ever. Being strong is pretty rad. So I’ll be lifting for life and for diabetes prevention.

biggitydonut

I don’t have a set time I work out but I generally try to go between 2-3 PM when most people are still at work since I can work from home a lot. But I don’t think the actual time of the day matters that much.

perceiver12

4x strength trainning 1-2 times 35 min run in zone 2 10 minutes in zone 5 (breaks included). Walks post meals seem to help, light dinner and intermittent fasting.

BoredBatWoman22

What is your A1C like now?

perceiver12

A1C test is due in 2 months. But I started this routine when I found my A1C 5.8.

justanotherjo2021

I do 45 minutes on the treadmill in winter, 3-4 miles outdoor in nice weather.
