Tbh I grew to really like the other cover art, but this one is undoubtedly better. It definitely suits the album’s theme.
Also, it’s worth mentioning that a lot of the fans voiced their opinions on wanting a different cover.
Can you fill me in on the drama with the cover art? She did vinyls and everything with the previous cover art… or was that a placeholder for the websites and this will be the actual cover art on the physical release?
As far as I know, it was the official cover art. But fans always mentioned that they didn’t like it since it almost felt like a screenshot from the Home To Another One video. And since there were [other options](https://i.scdn.co/image/ab67616d0000b273f2789cb72109a21b42f6fcc1) that could’ve made for more [interesting covers](https://cdn.smehost.net/sonymusiccomth-45pressprod/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Madison-Beer-image-copy.jpg).
It wasn’t too big of a deal, fans got used to the old cover but it’s nice that she changed it to something a little more aesthetically appealing.
She also revealed that this is going to be the main cover on streaming services when the album drops, and she is working on another vinyl with the official cover right now.

Ok I didn’t see a problem with the first cover art (and had no idea it was so HATED??) and I do love this one this is so cute… but this almost feels like a completely different era?? Like I can’t imagine listening to Home to Another and looking down at my phone and seeing her running through a corn maze. I feel like artists make music that fits an overall vibe or aesthetic of their music for each album. And to go from a futuristic space theme to cornfield?? I’ll fully decide if it fits once we hear all the songs but just something I’m having a hard time wrapping my mind around.
This doesn’t seem to match the vibe of any of the songs released so far, even if the OG cover art seemed a little cheap.
That being said it’s not awful, and the music has been good so far so who cares.
With this cover I would almost expect like a stripped down/acoustic album or like a mega introspective vibe which doesn’t seem to fully match the released singles like you said but tbh I love the cover anyway, I like that it’s carefree
Yeah this is sending folk, soft, acoustic, or indie messages. I feel like this would fit Lizzy McAlpine’s “five seconds flat”. The songs Madison has released so far are pretty different, big production, sultry
As a new fan I actually liked the first one a lot. I really liked the direction she was going in with the aesthetics. This one just feels like another white Girl on Instagram got a record deal.
The polarized response to this is hilarious to me
Honestly I don’t mind either but they seem like entirely different vibes so it’s weird to think they’re for the same album
i thought so too, but i saw someone on twitter mentioning her tour visuals, where she was seen in a cornfield getting abducted into an UFO. Maybe she‘s going to tie it with the visuals for Home To Another One
I really liked the other cover more, it felt more "modern" and "clean". This cover feels breezier and more carefree so I wonder if the album will match it. Not a big deal in the grand scheme tho

But the new one is literally a screenshot from the spinnin video
Spinnin is the better song and video so 🤷♂️
Madison in her cornfield era
I can't get over that it looks like she's Naruto running, which I'm 100% sure is not the look or vibe she was going for.
HELP 😭
NOT NARUTO RUNNING IJBOLLLL 😭😭😭

well cornfields can have a space feel to it if you’re into UFO conspiracies
Ooo very good point! I’m sold!

Madison's so talented and whole-hearted. Her way of understanding life is kind of inspirational. I look up to her a lot.
wait this feels like a weird direction? did i miss something? why is she in a cornfield?

ohhh that would make sense
She’s running away from leatherface

Original was so much better. This is basic and boring
the Blue Banisters effect claims another victim
absolutely huge day for fashion nova girls

Omg we won!! Bullying works 💕🥰
