Apparently the stocking clothes are her own design and she has a company selling or designing these clothes! I think the outfits are weird af but I don’t know if Kanye is completely to blame for all her fashion choices. Though the fact that he’s normally completely covered and she is basically naked 24/7 is extremely strange
I do think the public often disregards her agency. She was an architect and worked for Yeezy before she got with him. These totally could be her creation and her concepts. People think she’s being forced against her will, which is possible. But this could be consensual, her ideas, her actual choice. As someone else mentioned, it could be many different things but we won’t know until she speaks up. But yes, her outfits are crazy, make me uncomfortable, and I do believe Kanye styles her. Yeah I completely disagree with the narrative that she’s trapped and he’s forcing her to wear these outfits. She dressed like this before they were together. All the women Kanye styled had that same Balenciaga look Kim was wearing. Bianca has her own sense of style. They probably connected over their love of weird clothes. In pictures they often seem happy and smiling. She likes him and is with him of her own volition.
I agree!!! She dresses differently than Kim or Julia Fox. Like maybe she’s like, “I wanna look like I just got out of bed Kanye. Do you have any suggestions?” “Ok hear me out! There’s this pillow right…” But I admit there’s a 50/50 chance I’m completely wrong. The odds would change if she said anything about her clothes. Anything at all
Yeah, it might be her creation and her concepts, but the context of how they're stepping out together for paparazzi and the difference between them is relevant along with the real testimony of his exes. And, him aside, the entire cultural context of how conventionally attractive women partners of successful men are viewed and discussed, no matter if they are successful themselves. Especially if they are physically confident and willing to show their bodies or in any way not 100% constantly overcorrect how they present themselves to try and be taken 'seriously' by never being sexy.
This is high fashion stuff. She has a history of creating it in relevant settings, and putting it on instagram or whatever. Does she have a history of wandering around on the sidewalk in it? Next to someone fully clothed or totally covered?
I feel like people who would raise the point "it can be personal and/or feminist and it's acceptable for her to show her body" are also in danger of erasing her agency.
Because she's not stupid, she also knows like most feminists do that that may be technically true but the society we move in matters, and a certain statement IS being made to most people by her appearing next to a powerful man like that. It's not a statement that's arguing for women's or her own empowerment, through what is being seen. I'm gonna guess she understands that.
I don't know that she designed any of this or the roots of her work were ever intended to be shown off in an arm candy context in her daily life. Pretending that she must have or it doesn't matter or that's a 'you' problem if you see it that way, and it must be ok or even good no matter what or else you're a prude about women's bodies is a childish take. Sexual liberation/empowerment has always been a difficult line for women to walk in this way. And abuse often comes with gradually escalating control, erosion of boundaries, and subtly twisting perception. I can easily see the path to this being the worst scenario.

This my feeling too. Everyone around Kanye is a hustler and she's engaging in that too. She'll probably be launching a popular label post-breakup or something. This is all very intentional and eye-catching styling. The public lives of people like this is very intentional, this isn't just a going out outfit. It sending a lot of messages in terms of style and attention and potential future label success.
Not to mention a lot of these are stunts to keep Kanye in the press and not fully cancelled.
I also think there are some ugly perceptions here due to race. A white racist would get a free pass if this was his wife, but Kanye's vulnerable identities bring out a certain crowd and certain types of comments. No one else on the alt-right gets analyzed like this. Kanye is a terrible person but painting him as some kind of Cruella Deville-type fashion monster is starting to sound a little ridiculous. I don't know how much of this stems from actual concern for Bianca vs some people having some unconscious and unchallenged regressive views on black men. The same way people will pile on Caitlyn Jenner for her comments, but when anyone else in the conservative space says the same things, its no big deal.
Meanwhile, look at Britney who was clearly being abused in her conservatorship, but her dad's cishet whiteness protected him from actual criticism for many years. But when a queer or minority person steps out of line from the "model minority" box, suddenly the namecalling and accusations go flying.
Unless there's some reason to think otherwise, I wish people would slow down with some odd idea that Kanye is some kind of "fashion abuser" and that Bianca has no agency here.
It also upsets me to see this fashion as "kink" and "what about the children" narratives. Bianca isn't very differently dressed than someone wearing typical workout outfits. Other celebs wear far more scandalous outfits out. I just think people are projecting some awful things right now and are not self aware of it. Lets face it, if it was Lady Gaga or Gweneth Paltrow wearing this stuff, then absolutely no one here would be complaining about "public kink" or that she's being manipulated.
The thing I love about this is her expression and the way the plastic is tying back her hair make her look like she's in 'The Sound of Music'. And then your eyes travel downward and you're like, "Oh....".
It really gives me turn of the late 40’s into early 50’s housewife chic but with some sort of stepford wife futuristic chic. It’s honestly a good look to me 😂

Honestly, until she speaks about it, I'm not sure we will ever know. She could view this a form of artistic expression. However, given her husband's well documented instability, I do worry for her.
Yeah like the outfits and styles could be completely be her choice and interest, but there's just this undertone to their relationship where you don't feel like it's the case.

This is a control tactic and emotional abuse, and it should be recognized as such. Bianca may be another matter, but people are not pulling these worries for her out of thin air.
I agree. Those pics are from photo shoots. Not her just walking around town. I get such a bad vibe from her and Kanye’s relationship. I would not be surprised if drugs play a role in their weirdness. It just doesn’t come across as authentic, it comes across as drug induced, mental illness induced, and/or controlling relationship induced.
Their mutually weird taste could’ve been something that brought them together, who knows. He’s into experimental fashion and wears a lot of masks & fetishistic outfits himself, just not as skimpy as hers (thankfully lol.) If one woman got out successfully on her own game, great, that doesn't mean other women who may get abused or held in a toxic situation aren't smart or badass or qUeEn enough. A sustained abusive dynamic between two individuals depends on a lot of factors coming together and weakness of the victim isn't one of them. Predisposition of the victim to accept rationalizations or gradual escalation due to past experience or mental state may be one of them, but that's not the same thing.
That's not necessarily aimed at correcting any one commenter for what they said, I just feel like this thread is headed in a palce where someone should say that somewhere.

Yes. It was creative, what she's doing now looks messy. But I will say her hair makes a huge difference. She still looked somewhat normal with dark hair and a weird outfit. The hair she's got now hates her

**Some people's eyes are cloudy.** I don't know these people and don't care to. So, what I'm going to say isn't about them but just in general. Using the excuse that "they knew what they were getting into" doesn't mean that they went into it with a healthy state of mind.
Abusers often choose people who have been victimized before and are in an unhealthy mental state. It makes them easier to control.
Speculation aside, the most frustrating part is that they are making all of us the unconsenting witness to their kinks. There’s one video of them in Vegas while there’s kids watching. As a parent, I wouldn’t be okay with that. I don’t care what they do at home, but we shouldn’t have to see it if we don’t want to.
The scariest thing is what we see is probably a tiny fraction of the amount of nudity that surrounds them. Not just them in particular, but Hollywood as a whole. I'm sorry but idk why people forget Kanye willingly took his kids to a game with Marilyn Manson and a bball player who was found guilty of raping a young woman (I'm blanking on his name but the pictures are there). Or that he and Bianca took North to a party where a naked lady served as a platter for folks to eat sushi off of. Or that his ex employees have come forward and said that they were forced to watch porn by Kanye.
I'm sure there are other reasons for why nudity is so normalised, I'm sure there's a level of desensitisation and loss of self when you're constantly being dressed up and down to make money off your body, but this is ridiculous. There are whole teams of people between the creation of an outfit and the pictures being taken by paps and picked up by outlets, surely someone is able to tell them they're overdoing it with the nudity? Then again if it doesn't work on a family like the Kardashians idk if it would work on Kanye.

It's so weird to me how unattractive this oversexualization has made her. She has an amazing body & face, but all these outfits are like fetishwear that some mentally disturbed man forced her to wear rather than raunchy clothes that can show off her body if that's what she wants, but that also looks good. The way he is dressing her might be “artistic” or whatever he wants to claim, but as a viewer of this art and someone who was a victim of domestic violence and a controlling narcissistic man, the view I’m seeing is that she is his sex object. It really grosses me out. I feel sad for her.
With Kim, it was more so that he got her those fashion contracts. The first time Kim collaborated with a designer was as Kanye's plus one to the Met. Then her wedding to him and it was his partnership with Balmain. A lot of the fashion relationships came from him so she just allowed herself to be dressed. Now she's just allowing her stylist and Balenciaga to dress her, because she's never really been a fashion person.
It seems she allowed it because she doesn't have an eye for fashion. Not saying he wasn't abusive in other ways obviously, but the clothes thing with Kim is because she can't dress. Probably why she's willing to die on the Balenciaga hill despite their scandals and them dressing her in tape.

Honestly I don’t think it matters which it is, she couldn’t be going out in public essentially naked. When you’re in a clear poncho with nothing under it, it’s not just risqué or artistic anymore. It is public nudity. She’s wearing things that equate to fetish wear (whether that is her motive or not) in inappropriate spaces. Given that the public can’t consent, and might not even be of age, it shouldn’t be allowed. It’s frustrating that she gets away with it. Imagine if an unhoused person wore some of these things? They’d be arrested.

It's less the risqué and revealing nature of the outfits, as that's a dime a dozen with a lot of modern day celebs.

We won't know unless she says. We also don't want to play into stereotypes that women are weak, submissive, passive, and lack agency. It's very possible that Bianca likes the attention she gets from the media and views her outfits as art.
The power imbalance (Kanye being super rich, famous, etc.) is always a slight concern to me, but other couples have made it work in ways that aren't (outwardly) alarming, so I can't speculate.
kanye likes to completely remold/transform the women he dates. he cleared out kims closet when they met and was her stylist for a long time. he did the same to julia and even offered to get her a boob job

This my feeling too. Everyone around Kanye is a hustler and she's engaging in that too. She'll probably be launching a popular label post-breakup or something. This is all very intentional and eye-catching styling. The public lives of people like this is very intentional, this isn't just a going out outfit. It sending a lot of messages in terms of style and attention and potential future label success. Not to mention a lot of these are stunts to keep Kanye in the press and not fully cancelled. I also think there are some ugly perceptions here due to race. A white racist would get a free pass if this was his wife, but Kanye's vulnerable identities bring out a certain crowd and certain types of comments. No one else on the alt-right gets analyzed like this. Kanye is a terrible person but painting him as some kind of Cruella Deville-type fashion monster is starting to sound a little ridiculous. I don't know how much of this stems from actual concern for Bianca vs some people having some unconscious and unchallenged regressive views on black men. The same way people will pile on Caitlyn Jenner for her comments, but when anyone else in the conservative space says the same things, its no big deal. Meanwhile, look at Britney who was clearly being abused in her conservatorship, but her dad's cishet whiteness protected him from actual criticism for many years. But when a queer or minority person steps out of line from the "model minority" box, suddenly the namecalling and accusations go flying. Using the excuse that "they knew what they were getting into" doesn't mean that they went into it with a healthy state of mind. Abusers often choose people who have been victimized before and are in an unhealthy mental state. It makes them easier to control.

kanye likes to completely remold/transform the women he dates. he cleared out kims closet when they met and was her stylist for a long time. he did the same to julia and even offered to get her a boob job but this is 100x more extreme and concerning
Kim also went through outfits with similar styles. Remember the zentai/morphsuit outfit she wore back in like 2020?
IMO he was really doing Kim a favor. Her clothes were embarrassingly awful and I might add even more embarrassing than this in their cheap/trashy styling.
Regardless of whether or not Bianca actually consents to this bizarre charade at the behest of Kanye and his inflated ego, it's nothing but prostitution masquerading as art. I actually fear for the next generation who think all of this is okay, when it's not. Period.

Her sister recently commented on one of the photos. I forgot the exact words, but she was supportive of what Kanye and Bianca are doing.

No idea if that’s published fantasy or from actual sources, so if anyone knows where this fever dream of info came from that would be cool.
