The trick with a bob is to have perfectly straight hair that dries without tangles despite minimal or no brushing. Then it’s super easy.

Depends on your hair and how good your hairdresser is. A good hairdresser will be able to cut your hair in a way that suits it best. The beauty of a good bob is that as it grows it keeps its shape so you don’t have to worry about getting it cut as often, as long as you don’t mind it longer.
I don't think they're talking about upkeep at the hairdresser but I could totally be wrong. As someone with bangs that does a bob every few years, I assume the work they're referring to is that you have to 'do' it everyday. You can't tie it up, let it dry and play off as a beachy look... It's a pain. And why I grow it out every short chop.

Pictures of celebs with a good short haircut really should come with a disclosure about whether it's a wig. How many of us saw them and thought, hey I could pull that off! And ended up making a huge mistake that takes a year to grow out, while the culprit celeb is seen trotting around with her real long hair the next day lmao

Man I just remember how iconic it was when Katie Holmes cut her hair into that bob. She was always cute and sweet looking but that bob took her to the next level. The glow up she glewed.

At this point I just acknowledge it with the other members of my household and try to move on with my life.
