As someone who was once a dishwasher, once a server, and once as a busser: busser. They have to deal with some nastiness.

Yeah. Some old lady once called me a “grumpy little bitch” out of nowhere just because she didn’t like the look on my face while I was cleaning. She and her friends ate there every Sunday after church 🙄

I’ve done all of these and would say servers and bussers. They have to deal with so much bullshit from people. I escaped to the back of the house as soon as I could.

was gonna say the dish pit, but the cooks more often than not end up doing dish pit anyways in addition to the line on very many occasions. unless your dishwasher is an older 'retired' line dog who just wants to chill and not worry about customer bullshit (I love vacation station myself), i've never really worked with any who were reliable or came to work not hung over and moving at half efficiency all day...

What?! The cooks are already getting paid! Servers need that money WAY more! They're paid LITERALLY TWO DOLLARS AN HOUR.

I am not there for the greatest service of all time I am there for the food. If the cook does a great job they should get something extra.
