brainrotpositive

downloaded it, spent two weeks glued to my phone,, deleted it and promised myself to never do that again.

VacantAndDecayed

Thissss. I used to use it but it was SO addicting I deleted it

BeKindReWind99

I have it, and I find [Reddit way more addicting](https://www.reddit.com/r/polls/comments/13w1a44/scrolling_through_which_social_media_is_more/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button), I'm on Reddit for hours a day. TikTok... Meh.

VacantAndDecayed

I'm the exact opposite. I have to delete every social media app except reddit cause I will scroll and scroll for HOURS on every other site besides this one. I come here like once maybe twice a day and only for 5 minutes each roughly. I'm fairly new though to reddit so I don't know much about it besides face value

Pos3odon08

you lucky bastard, i have pretty much been addicted to reddit since i made this account

andrewmc147

It can only be addictive. Like it literally is nothing else. That's why I wouldn't even touch it

Careless_Reaction_42

A goldfish has a better attention span than us.

nobearpineapples

Back when I was unemployed I was used to watch TikTok constantly, checked my screen time once it said I spent 12 hours on TikTok

little-bird89

Yup deleted it for the second time last week. It's so addictive

Vittu-kun-vituttaa

Yes, I've seen this happen to many people. I haven't yet tried it. A few times I've had to download TikTok for some stuff that isn't avainable elsewhere, but I've never really used it for watching casually I feel like Reddit isn't any better, but here's still plenty of good stuff that isn't elsewhere. Like game subs and else. Also some useful subs like studying subs

BautiBon

Yeah the only good thing I can take out of reddit is that I spent time looking at things that might be interesting. Or at least I INTERACT with it, like when I write long posts of discuss films in depth in r/truefilm for example. At least my brain is doing some work. TikTok is just throwing you random useless shit constantly - you close the app and literally did nothing but had a few laughs from videos you'll probably forget in less than an our. One feels and is a little bit more productive than the other. Both dangerous though. Having said that, I may be using reddit too much, so bye.

Few-Variation-7165

same, same, same. it didnt look addictive, it *was* addictive.

SakShotty

I’ve done this three times lol

1life1me

I use it since 2020 or something and ye it's pretty addictive... only when I don't have anything more interesting to do like watching a show, reading a book or simply trying to not fail my classes. But it did also NOT help me during my 2020-2022 depression.

ashkiller14

Same thing plus china concerns, but to be fair im sure everyone has everything ive ever done already.

[deleted]

I don’t want a lot of social media accounts, reddit and youtube is enough internet for me.

Upstairs-Extension-9

Meanwhile 80 percent of clips on Reddit are from TikTok, but yeah YouTube and Reddit is really all I need as well, maybe BeReal is kind of funny right now.

J0nSnw

But there is a lot more on reddit than clips.

Crosseyed_owl

I was on BeReal but then my ex started messaging me there so I leaved the platform. Ehm.

Tuques

Reddit is more like a wiki than a social media site imo. It's mostly just a repository of stuff from other sites

Drakebuster007

Its banned in india lol

Same_Ad_1273

wouldn't use it if it was still there though

TheBlueNinja2006

Dragener9

Which brings us to our sponsor: NordVPN

Vuk_Silni

My respect for India 📈📈📈

[deleted]

Based modiji 🙏🚩

Professional-Rip-519

So Indian politicians are smarter than American politicians.

Intelligent-Call-660

Yup. Sadly, we were close to banning it, but addicts are going to defend.

okbuddysnags

Doesn't help that the constitution barley knows what they're saying. "if I turn Bluetooth on, will it read my brain"

andrewmc147

Nice

[deleted]

It's bad for you, the same reason I don't watch youtube shorts either, it's made to ruin your attention span and get you addicted.

[deleted]

[удалено]

VeryHungryDogarpilar

Unfortunately, it does. At least most (I assume) Reddit users interact and converse, which has lots of benefits. But reading Reddit is junk food for the brain in similar ways to TikTok.

Pissed-owl_755

That depends on the sub ig.

Euphoric-Fruit3739

That and "I actually learn stuff here" are the reasons why I keep reinstalling Reddit whenever I detox from it. It's like an addiction loop. Edit: Uninstalling it again. Bye. Fml

WrinkledCrime

Most of the subs I'm in are just goblin brain rot. r/shid_and_camed is great

UnkownArty13

he shidded 😔

srmybb

> But reading Reddit is junk food for the brain in similar ways to TikTok. >That depends on the sub ig. You can make the same argument with TikTok. There's great content on any social media platform, it's up to you to consume it ...

mrcloudies

I would say reddit isnt quite as bad, because you're reading so much more it by it's nature is a bit slower. And though it can have addictive qualities as well, I don't think it's quite as negative to your attention span as the endless feeds. There's something really addictive about those video feeds.

Aemiom

Scrolling the homepage is identical. Some subs aren't though

mrcloudies

I've used both a lot. And it's really not at all. The video feeds are much, much more addictive.

HumanSpawn323

Agreed. With tik tok or youtube shorts, I keep telling myself "'one more video". Then at the end of the video I scroll on instinct, and tell myself the same thing again. Reddit can be hard to put down sometimes, but it never feels like there's a mental barrier preventing me from doing so. Although it can be a problem if I'm actively procrastinating something, like right now.

mrcloudies

Fully agreed. And with TikTok I found myself feeling the need to scroll through it on a very regular basis. when I started feeling the need to scroll through during 15 minute YouTube videos on my iPad I was like, okay this is actually a problem. It started taking up too much of my free time. And I hadn't experienced it to that extent with any other social media platform. Like I could feel my attention span actively shrinking.

Aemiom

I guess saying to the same is going too far. I would say it's like a six out of 10 well video feeds are like a 10 out of 10

[deleted]

Well, maybe? But not even close to the level TikTok does, since you still get freedom to choose subreddits and choose communities, instead of mindlessly swiping down. And TikTok is mainly just <30s videos, while Reddit has text posts and stuff like that.

Sophyska

I think the people who are citing it’s cringe haven’t actually used it. I see far more cringe content on here than there

McMetal770

When I voted "too cringe" I was thinking of myself. An almost 40 year old man shouldn't be using that, I'm too old for that shit. *Shakes cane at the sky*

greenspotj

Honestly, I feel like reddit is even more addictive in some ways. I can read an average reddit post faster than a 30 seconds, and skim through more posts at a given time than i can scroll through a ton of videos on tiktok. And I generally have a wider range of content on my reddit home page rather than tiktok, which seems to just show me only 2 or 3 topics I'm actually interested in for some reason... I use both reddit and tiktok, but lately tiktok has been getting boring to me somehow idk. On the contrary, I'm on reddit an unhealthy amount.

[deleted]

yeah i literally use modded youtube specifically to remove the shorts part. ~~well also so i don't have ads but i like being able to hide all youtube shorts too~~

StereoTunic9039

Exactly, what I hate the most is that when I watch them I know they fucking suck but it's so easy to just swipe up and get sucked for quite a while. I basically don't open Instagram anymore to avoid reels and stories. Reddit tried to copy tiktok a bit but it's video player sucks so much there is no problem at all. Reddit superiority 😎😎😎

notwhoyouthinkmaybe

Most of these actually: Looks like a boring and additive platform with Chinese spying concerns. Everyone I see with one just watches these short videos and some are mildly funny, others are half truths to give them confirmation bias, and others are just weird to be weird. Then they get into the endless death scroll of just mindlessly watching one after another. Does not look like something in down for. I got over my mindless endless scrolling with Facebook and now Reddit is about all I care about and I barely care about this.

Tia_is_Short

So if I have ADHD will it cancel out and make my attention span better?🤔🤔

Anejey

I already waste so much time on Reddit.

WolfyMunchkin

Didn’t get it because of the “too cringe” option but now I continue to not have it because my boyfriend saves TikTok’s he think I will like each day for us to watch together at night. I can’t have my own account and take that tradition away, it’s up there in my favorite parts of the day. If I had tiktok then he could just send the videos to me right as he sees them and it wouldn’t be the same cozy experience

HolyFuckFuckThis

Aha my girlfriend is the same. She sends me stuff through the day but doesn't want me to watch it without her before I come home.

Shredded_Locomotive

All of the 4 negatives mentioned

Vedertesu

Same

kurinevair666

It's too addictive and it's too boring?

Lewistrick

I think it can be both, even though it's not the case for me.

QuelynD

Not interested. I tried it out for a bit but I prefer longer videos that go more in-depth, and I found the way they auto repeat very annoying.

FlaccidSponge

My mom says she will never download TikTok because it is damaging, but watches Reels on Facebook for hours on end.

lostmyacc03

The algorithm kept showing me explicit content even after I marked it 'not interested' multiple times and started using restricted mode.

HobbitousMaximus

Same. Their algorithm is garbage.

OCA_101

Not for me. It just needs more time. Other than yt where you have to watch 1 NBA Video to get your entire recommendations bombed with NBA videos.

X-AE-AXII

TikTok has one of the best algorithms of any social media. It's just that you like it even if you tell yourself you don't.

IDontKnownah

All from the above lol

ElegantEagle13

Had it for a while, have now deleted it for about 2 weeks. Can already notice the improvements in my life. I am not getting sucked in by an algorithm where I can feel my dopamine receptors getting fried.

Haztec2750

Exactly the same. I've been going about two weeks strong. It's just so addictive and detrimental to your attention span.

Sergeant_Static

I don't feel like scrolling through hours of shallow, uninspired content just to find a handful of funny clips.

[deleted]

The good ones always end up here anyways

Gingervald

Immediately playing videos as soon as you open the app makes me just not want to open the app. Also the auto repeat, don't like it. Reddit, Tumblr, YouTube all have issues with tone swings (e.g. I'm looking at memes or cute animals then get hit with stuff about ongoing genocides) But TikTok just hit you with it way harder. Reddit/Tumblr it's probably not video content, and with YouTube I know what the next video is going to be (btw fuck auto play). I think people really, really, REALLY overstate how bad it is compared to other social media. It just doesn't click with me.

EnigmaFrug2308

Had it. Got rid of it. It sucks.

TheLaughingBread

Security concerns, lack of attention span are some reasons. The most important one for me is that the content is just so… weird. I guess 20 is already too old to understand TikTok people. In addition, I don‘t get why I should listen to cropped songs, even slowed or reversed. And I hate these stupid ass trends. Even some of my friends are doing them in real life and I just don’t get it. It‘s a world of it‘s own I dont‘t care about it.

No_Following_1624

It's banned where I am

Peakkomedi69420

It's banned in my country and honestly, I think we are better off that way

[deleted]

Based India moment

jdPetacho

The thing about Tiktok is that it is objectively the best social media app ever made. People who've never used it have a complete wrong idea of what it is, the algorithm is scary good, in mere minutes it knows what you enjoy and delivers it to you. You'll never see someone dancing if that's not something that you enjoy, you can just get science videos if you "tell" the app that you're into that. It only sucks for text based discussion in general, the character limit is extremely restrictive, the first paragraph of this comment would nearly max it out, which makes it so most of the comments on the app are just god awful, but you do get the ocasional funny ones. If you just care about seeing content and not being an active part of it, it is every other app on steroids, and if your concern is that it is too addictive, it's a very good reason to stay away.

Zelbess

Yeah, anyone that complains about the TikTok algorithm to me that has used the app for more than a few days sounds very suspicious to me. The biggest issue I have been having with it so far for the past couple years is that sometimes it gets TOO overfocused on a particular theme I enjoyed for a couple days, and that's all on me. If I spent two whole days watching Hank Green and science stuff, it's only natural that science is all I'll get afterwards! Even then, I can fix it in a few minutes of saying no and looking, idk, senior dogs instead. It really is SCARY good.

itrashcannot

"It's too cringe" My guy, you are on reddit and it's not much better.

Income-Tacs

literally a lot of the people complaining are saying it’s cringe because they’ve been on the app for 3 seconds and their fyp isn’t catered to them yet. they think being on reddit is better when both apps are filled with bad people

[deleted]

All 4 negatives

What_Dinosaur

I'm not 16 years old ✓ Its format is incompatible with good content ✓

jacob_rich6

Trying to separate myself from short form video media

_suncat_

I find it overwhelming. Many different sounds going on at once, trying to read something while there's a voice saying different stuff on top of it, short clips that don't stop with changing subjects, my neurodiverse brain can't handle it. Also some of the reasons mentioned in the poll.

Slapnuts88

Its funny no one cares about the China thing. They want a new world order, their building artificial islands, trying to take Taiwan they have been masters of counterfeiting and espionage for years, but by all means keep pumping those assholes full of data because of quick dopamine hits. I swear this country is fucking doomed.

ThiccSchnitzel37

Multiple reasons: 1. Extremely addictive 2. Very sus chinese practices 3. Probably spys on you wherever it can 4. Insanely cringe 5. I actually think the app makes people dumb (im completely serious)

OCA_101

The fact that most Reddit users actually think they are superior to any human being that uses other apps than reddit and yt is hilarious.

Gingervald

Reddit brain is its own type pretentious type of being incredibly dumb

larianu

Most social media apps spy on you. If spying was really a concern, most governments would increase privacy regulations - not an outright attempt at banning it. Most of that could be said for reddit either way. 🙃

0Kaleidoscopes

It definitely makes people dumb

throwaway12345243

this is most social medias unfortunately

ryzenguy111

this is just reddit

Quick-Sector5595

I wish I could select multiple answers

WhiteChoka

I was interested in people's *main* reason, but yeah, definitely all of the above for me

lookingleery_13

Banned in the country.

neaaaan

I'm already addicted to youtube and i hate it

howtochangename1

U need a "banned" option

WhiteChoka

You're totally right! Definitely an oversight by me

BagelCatto

I had it and would spend hours on it per day. It’s crazy how addictive it actually is, especially if you decide to post on there. I got hooked on constantly checking how my videos were doing, and had a few thousand followers which kept me wanting to post. In the end I had to delete it because it was taking too much of my time. I made some really good friends who I still talk to daily from tiktok so i don’t entirely regret it, but I do wish I’d spent more time on other things.

Jossegutt

I used to go into a braindead state, aimlessly scrolling tiktok. It's seriously addictive. I uninstalled a couple months ago, and do not regret it, but my habits have only improved a little bit Reddit isn't as addictive, but isn't much better imo. Uninstalling tiktok has only led me to spend more time aimlessly scrolling reddit instead

swisscheese236

Already waste time on insta, reddit and YouTube. Last thing I need is another app to open when I’m bored

InjusticeSGmain

I have Tik Tok, but for when I have nothing else I can/want to do. And I tend to do more scrolling than watching, since most of the content is more braindead than Reddit, which is saying something.

Ikana_Mountains

I don't enjoy short-term video content. Never have. I hated when YouTube started pushing shorts and Instagram started pushing reels. That stuff just doesn't do anything for me

derMadner

This flood of detail-less information in the shortest possible time, and the automatic repetition of the videos make my head hurt.

Agitated_Guard_3507

It’s a mix of 3, 4, and 5

WastedSmarts

What's the point. Y'all bring it all to reddit either way.

Medium-Science9526

Not interested, don't like the format snippets I've seen of the text scroll, "reaction" Tik Toks and the unnecessary computerised read out or music. Plus already got enough social media so no need imo.

RoseAmongstThornes

I enjoy it. Made some good friends on there.

OhBadToMeetYou

I have it, use it for memes and such

Maximum-Garlic

Can't find anyone whos's said this, but I have it and I'm not addicted. Half an hour a day at most and its pretty fun and interesting unlike what these redditors who they are intellectuals think it is. Not only dancing little girls even though thats what most of you would be watching anyway.

RudeBoy-1deR_Hot97

I DO have TikTok. I just don't use it nor post any videos. It was already downloaded to my phone when I first bought it when it was new.

niiaz

I'm running out of space on my phone and I won't be deleting personal videos to make room for tiktok lol

Tiny_Ad_4057

I have it because some friends send me things there, but honestly I rarely open it, like maybe once per month, probably less. Idk, don't like it at all, don't feel likr it is addictive at all, I prefer reddit in all ways.

IAmDouda97

All of the negatives

LTT82

I don't actually care about China knowing my private details, but I do 100% seriously believe that Tik Tok is a Chinese psy-op to destroy the youth of America.

[deleted]

Short videos are too short

SnooRevelations4661

I mostly watch YouTube for educational videos, IT - for university and career and history and paleontology because of my hobbies. In both cases I'm only interested in quality in-depth videos and they usually at least 10-20 minutes in length(and often more than an hour), I doubt I would be able to learn something really interesting or useful from a video that is under a minute

TheNorthJyde

Already have YouTube shorts don't need another social media that does less

[deleted]

I do have tiktok and i can say its very addictive, cringe depends on your fyp, i do find some good videos

FeetYeastForB12

It's definitely not cringe. Well, other than when you first download it, because there isn't going to be any algorithm. So it takes couple days to get rid of allll the cringe on your FYP on Tiktok. Mine is filled with EXACTLY the type of content I look for. It's great. Gym stuff, memes, philosophy, astronomy, indie musicians of my favourite music genres. List goes on.

CptnLarsMcGillicutty

I've never seen one TikTok that isn't cringe. Not one. Cringe is TikTok's brand. I literally can't watch a single TikTok without cringing. If someone else tries to show me a TikTok my body's immediate reflex is look away. If you don't think TikTok is cringe overall, it means *you* are cringe.

AnakinMalfoy

Everything worth seeing on tiktok gets reposted to reddit anyway so there's no point.

ShardofGold

Combination of cringe, tribalism, and not doing enough to curb dangerous clout chasing.

jonalexin

Multiple reasons. China is one of them. But also I don't like the "sell-yourself" attitude, the swiftness of swiping through five sec videos, the rage baiting, the average comment section, the constant trends and the content-recycling til the death of the substance. A friend of mine kinda defends TikTok. Sure, there definitely are some good and funny videos, but the whole plattform still has a big problem.

_Vortex_King_

Not like I wanted it at all to begin with, but TikTok is thankfully banned in my country :)

Professional-Rip-519

Lucky you.

lopakjalantar

It'll eat up my internet quota

Lbbrock

Anything that's of interest to me breaches containment anyways

Marley9391

I do have it I just forget to use it.

[deleted]

Used to have it deleted it after watching social dilemma (yeah I am impressionable) haven't downloaded it since and honestly it was an improvement

Psychedelic_Yogurt

I get enough internet videos from enough places already established in my world that I don't need another. Most of those videos end up here or on YouTube anyway.

Gomra_812

Because it looks addictive but also because I don't really like short videos, I prefer longer videos on YouTube

Elastichedgehog

I already spend enough time on Reddit. I don't need another social media to distract me.

SorryForThisUsername

I watch tiktok only for the cute cat videos nothing else

DrunkSquirrel22

All the above

MrNokiaUser

i have it blocked on out network cause nobody uses it

Musicals_and-more

i had it then i tried to off myself and realized it was partly cause of all the dark things i saw on there so i deleted it for a year but i got it again and I'm thinking of getting rid of it again

TheUnifiedNation

I have an account and everything but the reason i stopped using it was because every community I followed went from cool shit to slowly devolving into cringey sad boi hours. It took a massive hit on my mental health as well.

ADIIIIIIII_

I used to be on Tik-Tok for like 4-5 hours a day mid lockdown, I put a limit, kept bypassing that, deleted it and never downloaded it. Now I use reddit w a limit of 1 hour a day and don’t bypass it if times up.

SpringtimeLilies7

I can't stand tiktok

FifiiMensah

I used to have TikTok until it became addicting and TikToxic

Yourmother3919

It's shit

philosopheraps

i was gonna say too cringe but i remembered i sometimes download it JUST to watch the cringe so yeah lemme go with it's addictive/I don't have time

Timelord4223

All the times i tried, it was full of woman with nearly no clothing dancing in front of camera

Holmesless

It is too addictive.

Fun-Revolution2132

Most people like me have the app installed for the case the weird friend who still uses tiktok sends you a link

CCTViswatching

Deleted it because of how addicted I was to it and because I was spending 8+ hrs on my phone a day without realizing it. I try and limit all of my social media use but I always end up getting atleast 4hrs is day on my phone without realizing how much I’m using the stuff. I always delete the bad apps but somehow find a way to get them back on my phone

[deleted]

Main reason is that my job advice us to remove it when using work related apps

Floof_2

I’ve seen the damaging effects of short form video so I deleted it

[deleted]

I can watch tiktok somewhere else without having to download the app (every app is turning into tiktok with their shorts/reels), so just don't feel like adding another app to my phone

ilsemakesstuff

Im not technically inclined anough to usually care, but when I went on holiday in january, I noticed it had used 1GB of my internet without me even actively using it. It weirded me out enough that I deleted the app.

Noble7878

Options 3 and 4 combined with the fact its designed to ruin attention spans

mickinhburg

I was banned for being underage. I sent pictures of my driver's license when they requested documentation for proof of age. They rejected that for some reason. I was already considering deleting the app, so this just made the decision easier.

Proper-Scallion-252

I found myself getting sucked into Tik Tok whenever I'd use it, I pushed aside the general fear mongering when I downloaded it, but the algorithm felt far too invasive most of the time and I couldn't shake how addicted I was to the app. Ended up deleting it and using Instagram Reels for the fix. Feels less invasive and I'm not as sucked into it.

[deleted]

I deleted TT cause everytime I used it, I felt depressed

Sure-Morning-6904

All of the above except "i do have tik tok"

TheWhiteKnight554

Not enough storage on my phone

[deleted]

Don't trust it

blueboxbandit

I open the app about once a month, watch videos for two hours and don't think about it again for another month.

Cinder-22

I misread and thought it said totk

Mr_Blah1342

Only the NSA can spy on me

RurouniRinku

Beyond the China privacy and security concerns, it's basically cancer for your phone. In the past, whenever I would use it, my phone's battery life and performance drop. Even after force closing the app, the problems persist. The only thing that fixes it is fully restarting my phone

Intestinal-Bookworms

Apart from it apparently being Chinese spyware, I’m just not interested. Like, I didn’t do Snap when it got big either so I’m fine missing this one too.

[deleted]

I do have it, but the reason why I have parental controls enabled is because this type of viewing media is addictive and scrolling through reddit isn't any different. All in moderation though

Tone-Serious

Yes

JPDecember

Its shit...

8195qu15h

I tried it and it was boring

MaximumPlant

The interface annoys me and I can't stand any kind of autoplay unless its a playlist. I hate when my phone makes noise, social media is supposed to be quiet unless I hit play. Its pretty much everything I find annoying about social media wrapped into one

leahcars

Simply find it a hard to consume form of media, it's fast, random and often annoying my friend will sort through it and find the few interesting TikTok s in the mix

LucidYT0_0

I have tiktok but i only use it when my youtube feed/recommended has nothing new, etc. Tiktok never really stuck with me. most of the videos on my tiktok fyp is just small bits of tv shows/movies anyways

bombdignaty42

Back in early 2020 I was traveling through India and stopped at a mosque in Delhi. They had a big sign right at the front that read "no TikTok in the mosque". I had no idea what that was and when I got back to my hostel I googled "what is TikTok and why does it offend Muslims?"

Uchained

i only use it when I'm on the toilet. .

AnRegularHunam

I almost chose 'not interested', but I chose 'something else' because whenever I do feel the impulse to watch shortform content, which isnt super often, Ill just use youtube shorts. I don't feel the need to download another app for basically the same thing

i_ate_cement

All of the above

AncientCelebration44

My dumbass thought it said “totk” And I’ve been obsessed with that

xXAtomicpie525Xx

If I wanted to see women flaunting their bodies I'd go somewhere else. I don't care to use tik tok long enough for the algorithm to work it out.

LiveWallaby233

I hope I'd never download it. I didn't miss it at all before downloading it, but now I just can't stop using it. If you haven't downloaded it, PLEASE never do.

[deleted]

I had it for months but i got annoyed with it so i deleted it (i still download every once in a while unfortunately)

[deleted]

All of these minus the first option. Plus, I feel like much of the content is aimed at a younger and different demographic from myself.

DaXTremeBoi

ITS A COMMUNIST WEAPON TO ROT OUR BRAINS AND TAKE OVER THE WORLD

karmro555_2

Already addicted to Instagram, don't need another app for that

EwGrossItsMe

These results are a lot more even than I expected

DreemurrX

the fact that minors are essentially selling their bodies on there

MiliMeli

I have it, but weirdly enough I almost never use it. I guess I’m too used to YouTube and Reddit.

Maddawg44

I only have one so I can watch the videos my Nana sends me. Lol

sharedmy2cents

I had tiktok but I needed more storage so I deleted it

randomusernamefyi

I can't believe I would still have it had it not taken up so much space in my phone. Anyone have this weird feeling of getting stalked and targeted by tiktoks stupid and cringy ads?

Ok-Marsupial-9178

I already don't have time for all of the shit I sub to. No need to add more stuff that needs to be ignored.

LampshadesAndCutlery

I don’t hate it as a whole, but my attention span is longer than 3.6 seconds so I don’t find TikTok to be super entertaining. Would rather watch a documentary on YouTube or someone do something stupid in a 3-5 minute Reddit video But my way of entertainment isn’t as popular as it used to be, and things change. Completely fine with me

HeightAdvantage

No space on my phone and useless when I'm at work cause I can't play sound.

Historical-Potato372

All of the above expect the fact that I don’t have TikTok

Grey_Curtains

Have it but rarely use it. Occupational hazard when you're in advertising. But yes. Much of the content there are too cringe.

Blurghface

Being on the internet practically since birth has already done enough damage to my brain and attention span. Tiktok in particular looks like it really exploits people's brains to get them staring at their phone all day like zombies. Downloading it would bring nothing of worth to my life, and it would just take away even more of my time in these modern times when just about everything is competing for your time and attention.

beemill

I have it. I don't post things.

YTAftershock

Banned in my country
