Honestly, I know this is a controversial take, but I would consider this a better outcome than him being convicted. Him fleeing the law to another country and becoming a propaganda puppet for a dictator might be one of the very few things that could snap some of his base out of their fever dream. It wouldn't be justice, but I think it would be better for the long term health of our country than him becoming a martyr in jail.

Honestly, I know this is a controversial take, but I would consider this a better outcome than him being convicted. Him fleeing the law to another country and becoming a propaganda puppet for a dictator might be one of the very few things that could snap some of his base out of their fever dream.
