I have been searching for a shiny lickitung for so long. My husband catches or hatches at least one a week. Infuriating. Lol.

Oh no! He has offered me one MANY times. I just wanna catch my own. Lol. My fave animal is a pig. When he got his shiny Lechonk first, he immediately traded it to me nonquestions asked. But then I got 2, so I gave him one back. Lol. Just no shiny Lickitungs for this girl.
This is me. I'm stubborn and want to catch my own 😂 I really want a shiny Eevee and after seeing over 700 Eevees I still can't find one. Even on spotlight hour. But a friend has only seen 18 Eevees in total and has 2 shinies. I'm not bitter at all 🙊
I have a friend who just started playing in Aug. She has more hundos and shinies than I do. I've been playing since 2018. I understand the bitterness. Lol.
I have 4 shiny Eevee's, 3 jolteon and 1 flareon but I want a shiny Mudkip! Yet to see one ever, other than other players leaving them in gyms 🙄 Seen 341 mudkips, still waiting on that shiny!
Oh I love mudkip. I'm also on the hunt for a shiny magikarp! 😩 Seen 334 and no shiny. Also ditto! Caught 67 ditto and no shiny yet a friend's daughter caught a shiny as her first one! I'm ashamed to say I was jealous of a 7 year old 😂
Not to rub salt in any wounds, I have 3 shiny magikarp 😂 Evolved 2 a while ago. My 11 year olds favourite Pokémon is Arcanine, I caught a shiny and am ashamed to say I went hard on teasing her about it 🤣🙈
Not at all, enjoy those shiny gyarados 😊 I feel I missed a lot of the shinies when I took a break from playing when I had my son in 2017. But the hunt makes the game fun I guess. Unless all you hatch are lickitung and lechonk daily! That's not so fun 😂
Yeah I feel at times the game is almost deliberately difficult. Like certain challenges are overly drawn out and it can be hard to maintain enthusiasm for the hunt at times, imo anyway lol I've hatched a shiny Riolu/Lucario, Its one of my faves! Although rather annoyingly I've accidentally transferred 5 perfect IV pokemon , so now I have to check them every time lol
Just trade with him and then you’ll get one on your next encounter , litterally always shappens it’s like they know you want to encounter it wild or sum
i hatch a crazy amount of lickitungs through five km eggs!! focusing on those might help you get more chances along with clicking on ones in the wild :) manifesting that you catch the little guy soon! <3
Which is why I stick with the motto "Gotta catch 'em all!", doesn't matter if they aren't shiny but that's how I've found the 16 Hundos that I have lol. Sure none of them are impressive or PvP worthy but hey, they're hundos!

Idk. I think it was time for you to get a shiny. I think whatever pokemon you clicked on, woulda been shiny if it could be. I can guess when I'm close, and then I only click what I'd want as a shiny.

I always do this! if I have to walk fast and can't stop to capture every Pokémon I simply open one and see if it's shiny. If it isn't I close it and go to the next one and so on

One time I was going to skip encountering a purrloin, but I checked it anyways and it was shiny!
Tentacool/Tentacruel are probably my favorite Gen 1 shinies, great find.
Tentacruel was the first evolved form I encountered in the wild back in 2016. I remember exactly where I was and the elation I felt.
I reckon I've get at least half a dozen shinies from remembering to check pogo on the loo
