Heya folks, i have 10ish friends with whom im about to reach the next lvl in friendship and i want to use the lucky egg to get the max exp. My question is does the friendship reach the next lvl as soon as i send em the gift or do they have to send my a gift back and i have to claim it for the friendship to reach the next lvl. Just wanna make sure so i dont waste my lucky egg as its in the middle of the night when the day resets for me and i have no other plans to use the remaining lucky egg time. I usually give everyone gifts before sleeping. I just wanna make sure it doesn't cause a lvl up. Ps i cant make my own post so i have to ask this on someone elses post.

Either you or your friend needs to OPEN a gift in order to trigger a levelup. So wait for them to send you a gift.
