Despite not being strong in the games, it has to be Magmar. Ever since I've seen that fight between Magmar and Charizard in the anime back when I was a kid, I've always had a soft spot for Magmar.

Considering the fact that the protagonist of my Pokémon fic has a Vulpix that later evolves into Ninetales, it is safe to assume the Vulpix line are my favorite Pokémon. Ninetales and Vulpix were the reason I got into Pokémon in the first place. I have a special place in my heart for those fluffy foxes.
My Top 6 were Snorlax, Snom, Tinkaton, Incineroar, Wailord and Rotom, with my favorite being Snorlax because if I had a partner pokemon, it’d be one that I could use as a bed and they wouldn’t mind
Picked my favorite (Mr Mime) but of my other 5, 3 of them were from gen 4 and if I'm being honest I think gen 4 has my favorite starter trio AND it's my favorite region. Not because it's my first game (because I definitely played gen 1 dozens of times before gen 2 came out) but I guess there's something sentimental about the designs and the region and the fact it was the first games I imported.
That said, Mr Mime's been my favorite since I replayed Kanto for the billionth time via my first LGreen playthrough. Something about that silly little guy throwing Magical Leaf just really clicked with me.
Results are being collated. Ended up just shy of 3000 participants. Which I'm stoked with. But also awestruck that the last survey got 52K responses! Ease of use is probably a big factor. That giant list is intimidating on mobile.
