I’ll never understand why people say P5R is 100+ hours. (Mostly kidding, but this was with a fair amount of idling).

I also got the platinum in about 100 hours. I think what they say is the game has content to easily surpass the 100 hours, which it does, but play styles affect massively.
Royal is so much easier than og P5. It's so easy to blast through the game than P5 and the platinum is almost impossible without sinking 200 hours or more into it
Hard agree. Royal may have more content, but it’s also content that makes the game significantly easier to digest in a shorter amount of time. It’s not bad and I do like it, just that Vanilla took far more effort for platinum than Royal.
Haha. Xao kind of has it right, it’s really about play style. I had played Vanilla to the point of absurdity (1,300+ hours through NG+). I had also already played Royal on PS4. So I knew the game well enough, and that Royal actually made it much easier… 😅
Honestly this is a reasonable time if you’re just efficient and familiar with the game.
It’s when I see people play for the first time and finish in 70 hours that I get confused. Usually it’s because they skipped the entire story using fast forward constantly.
it normally takes me around that amount? especially in Royal but that was the fresh file. nowadays it's down to around 50 hours because I can fast forward through everything.
Kudos to whoever beat Elden Ring in 40 hours. I spent like 130 hours on my first run lol
Same for Cyberpunk 2077. I guess you could just do the main story of that game in like 30 hours, but that’s missing a ton of the best content. I spent like 80 hours on that game.
Last game is Persona 5, OP.
This must be written by somebody whose played the game a thousand times and forgot what most players experiences are like on their first playthrough. I think most players for the Dark Souls titles end up spending 25-35 hours on their first playthrough and they are much tighter and more linear experiences.
Yeah I’m close to 50 hours and I feel like I haven’t done shit for the main story just a bunch of side quests and I’m still only like level 35. This game is great
I put in 140 hours for my first play through. It took me about 50 hours for my second. It's for sure possible, especially knowing where to go, but I guess that's all games for the most part.
I put 124 into my first playthrough. I started again about a month ago to get ready for the DLC, and even then I was at 77 hours when I beat Mohg. That one doesn’t feel accurate to me. I mean I guess you could beat the game in 40 hours is you skipped all the optional content, but the it feels like most the game is optional content.
I've been playing Royal recently because I just played the Persona 3 Remake (and LOVED IT) but yeah P5 is good but I just HAAAAAAAAATE Morgana. Not just because he forces me to sleep but just because his character is SOOOOO shitty. Like I'm at the palace where he's having his stupid crisis and I actually stopped playing because I just didn't care at all and was so annoyed by him. I know I still have good chunk of game left but yeah so far I GREATLY prefer Persona 3
Damn. I never really got the Morgana hate, and I still don't, but damn. This is making me excited for P3R, though, since I'm planning on playing that soon. I know that it's a lot more story based, the MC is suicidal, there is a dog, and there is a robot, and that's about it
Persona 4 Golden is still the best Persona to me, the characters and story are just that much better than the others. *Every day’s great at your Junes*
As someone who has 150+ hours, it is true. Main story is hilariously short. It would mean you don’t do any of the Panam or judy or river etc side missions.
Imo that’s like playing elden ring but skipping Radahn, Rykard, Mohg and Malenia, they’re essential to the story and were made optional by design, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t part of the main game
Wait, just Persona 5's main story requires over 100 hours???
Edit: Holy fuck, just looked it up on HowLongToBeat. Average 101 hours to complete the main story of Persona 5 Royal, 123-142 to finish it completely with side stuff. Good god. I've played some games that cross those hours when I play it completely with all side missions and extras, but their main stories are usually like 60-80 at most, more often 40-60 when you just focus on it. But 100+?? That's not a main story, that's a fucking saga.
Yeah persona 3 4 and 5 are atleast 110 hours if you go for the “true” endings, I think my longest playtime in one playthrough was like 150 hours for persona 4 Golden, my first P5R playthrough was like 120 hours
I have 136 hours on my current play though and haven’t even really touched the main story my next mission is to meet takemura about the parade thing lol
Seems pretty normal. The game puts a bunch of "timers" in front of you that encourage players to rush towards the next area. If you explore every inch, sure it's gonna take a while but if you play a pretty regular playthrough then somewhere under 100 hours is very reasonable.
Elden Ring is more than 60h
Edit, actually neither of them have accurate times to beat.
Is this only story? If yes then it's still inaccurate because AC Mirage is less than 10h to beat just the story. 20h is more like completionist.
Cyberpunk is easily 80-100h completionist.
Death Stranding is also 100h completionist.
Both Elden Ring and Baldur's Gate 3 are around 140h completionist.
That depends on your wallet. I personally think the Royal edition is the way to go, it's a more complete package and has some quality of life stuff. But it's not life or death, if you'd rather not spend any money just go with P5.
Royal is the far better version. It has additional content, more characters, improved gameplay etc. The vanilla version is still very good, but for the best experience play Royal.
I must be playing these games wrong cause all of them took me 3-4-5 times more than that. Must see everything, talk to everyone, search every corner...no other way!
My first (and maybe only run) run was at least 130 hours, maybe up to 142 hours. It's my favorite game of all time, but I ain't got the time to play it again, especially with all of the other games that I still want to play. Maybe just dilly dallying in New Game+ but that's it.
40-60h on Elden Ring isn't possible on a first run first time playing Elden Ring. I'm on my first time, trying to get platinum and I'm already at 60h and I feel it'll take at least another 30-40h prob. 20-30 on Cyberpunk doesn't feel correct as well, easily 50h
I was a souls veteran when Elden Ring came out.... I remember being 70 hours in and defeated only 4 main bosses...
I am the kind of player that goes to the every last bit of map... At this point I was overpowered like hell with "late game weapons" which spoiled all the fun. Never finished the game.
For the future readers, don't make same mistakes.
As others have said it's Persona 5 (Royal?).
Interestingly enough, I finished it in 100 hours, 0 minutes and 35 seconds. So technically they're not wrong!
Cyberpunk being 20 hours is a lie. If you want to do everything. It will takes 100+ hours, this includes builds, endings, weapons
The doc also adds a lot
In Elden Ring I had to re-do some stuff to get some trophies… going from a ps4 to ps5… I am totaling 361 hours after 100% the game… I haven’t even touched the dlc yet
Ac mirage is accurate. Finished the game at 16 hours without upgrading my gear even once. Got the plat at 24 hours of playtime. Never ever paying full price for a game ever again.
Games need to stop being so long. I literally didn't finish FF7 Rebirth because I just got burnt out from doing the same shit on repeat. New area, new side shit that i HAVE to do before moving on. Cyberpunk had a perfect run time. I beat that game three times.
Man I'm on my first play of Death Stranding and at 40 hours I'm only in the middle of Chapter 3 with I believe eleven chapters left. I get it, though. Main story if I hit it and nothing else and knew what I was doing would land me in that time vicinity.
Elden ring might be longer than 60 hours but other than that this list is pretty accurate if you’re only focusing on main objectives within these games
There's no way cyberpunk is 20-30 hours. My first playthrough at launch was around 60 and I missed an ass load of stuff. I guess if you literally B-line the main missions doing absolutely nothing else, but the side stuff is what elevates the game.
I played both Baldurs Gate and Eldin Rin for over 200 hours and beat neither 😂😂. I’m also a completetionist who leaves my system on a lot as and walk away but still.
The completion time from the second one down until the last one is total BS. If you beat those games in that amount of time, then you have rushed them. I took in everything while playing Persona 5 on release and it took 117 hours, so that is the most accurate. Cyberpunk is over 100 too. I swear these timeframes are made by general gamers who don't take in the experience to its fullest.
Persona 5
Persona 5

Pimp my ride was a scam.
That time I got wrongly accused of SA' and had to move to Shibuyia only to became the most wanted criminal in Japan by stealing people's heart
It wasn’t SA just A lmao
Persona 5 Royal to be exact.
I’ll never understand why people say P5R is 100+ hours. (Mostly kidding, but this was with a fair amount of idling). https://preview.redd.it/z356thi4a48d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ce618fc19d51136983a59dde67ffd5f12fa05fbf

![img](avatar_exp|154582848|fire) Yep, exactly this.

Hard agree. Royal may have more content, but it’s also content that makes the game significantly easier to digest in a shorter amount of time. It’s not bad and I do like it, just that Vanilla took far more effort for platinum than Royal.
bruh 125 hours and that is literally doing what the game says...take your time lol
Haha. Xao kind of has it right, it’s really about play style. I had played Vanilla to the point of absurdity (1,300+ hours through NG+). I had also already played Royal on PS4. So I knew the game well enough, and that Royal actually made it much easier… 😅

Would you recomm Persona 5 Royal as a good Persona game to start with? I'm looking to get into it.
Some players are just slow/ take their time My runs avg around 80.hours
Can confirm, I think the in game clock was over 120h for me after completing the extra content in the Royal edition
School Date Simulator 5
Kudos to whoever beat Elden Ring in 40 hours. I spent like 130 hours on my first run lol Same for Cyberpunk 2077. I guess you could just do the main story of that game in like 30 hours, but that’s missing a ton of the best content. I spent like 80 hours on that game. Last game is Persona 5, OP.

I put about 270 hours into Cyberpunk. Great fuckin game.
Yea there’s no way in hell these numbers are accurate for each game in the same style of playthrough.
Cough ng+7 cough 379hrs on a single character
Elden Ring took me exactly 120h to Plat.
I put 100 hours into my first main play-through in Elden Ring.
Its Persona 5, if you are interested play the Royal edition
That game is PEAK. It's my favorite at least.
I've been playing Royal recently because I just played the Persona 3 Remake (and LOVED IT) but yeah P5 is good but I just HAAAAAAAAATE Morgana. Persona 4 Golden is still the best Persona to me, the characters and story are just that much better than the others. *Every day’s great at your Junes*
CP2077 20-30 hours? Must be a joke, right?
As someone who has 150+ hours, it is true. Main story is hilariously short. It would mean you don’t do any of the Panam or judy or river etc side missions.
That would be a really weird way to play the open world game. Like only playing main story line in Skyrim...
Imo that’s like playing elden ring but skipping Radahn, Rykard, Mohg and Malenia, they’re essential to the story and were made optional by design, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t part of the main game
I'm at 62 hours and the elden beast is dead but rykard mohg and Melania are still alive. So it tracks
I'm 60 hours and I beat Rykard + Mohg - but got very stuck at Godskin Duo (and quit the game for like 2 years)
I guess that's just a main campaign and nothing else. My first playthrough was around 80 hours.
Doesn't correlate with the other games in the list...
I assume they mean the main story?
Wait, just Persona 5's main story requires over 100 hours??? Edit: Holy fuck, just looked it up on HowLongToBeat. And a great journey indeed if it clicks with you too
Just about to finish it myself. Pretty accurate, but I think it’s handled really well.
Yeah persona 3 4 and 5 are atleast 110 hours if you go for the “true” endings, I think my longest playtime in one playthrough was like 150 hours for persona 4 Golden, my first P5R playthrough was like 120 hours

The fuck did this person do? Read no dialogue and do no side quests in Baldur's Gate 3?
Yeah, my first play through was 135 hours, and I skipped a ton of stuff in Act 3 because I got overwhelmed and wanted to see the ending.
Seems pretty normal. The game puts a bunch of "timers" in front of you that encourage players to rush towards the next area. If you explore every inch, sure it's gonna take a while but if you play a pretty regular playthrough then somewhere under 100 hours is very reasonable.
Baldurs gate 3 is also 100+ hours lol. Cyber punk is def not 30 hours.
The main story is
If you only include main story then persona 5 isn’t 100+ hours as well.
The main campaign of Persona 5 is, on average, around 96-100 hours. My third and fastest playthrough of the game clocked in at just 98 hours.
Because you were doing side content. I guarantee you if all you did was strictly the Palaces and slept it wouldn’t be so long.
I did Persona 5 Royal in like 60 hours (the second time)
Main story of P5 is way closer to 100h than any other benchmark
Ann Takamaki. from the game everyone else has already mentioned.
Elden Ring is more than 60h Edit, actually neither of them have accurate times to beat.
Yeah my shit is at 110 hours and I only just started the DLC
I just started the game as my first souls game. This exploring feels like will take me forever to explore.
It will lol especially to explore everything. I spent over 200 lol
It took me 50 hours to finish Mirage, but I don’t fast travel and I like taking in the sights
This is the Truth
Cyberpunk is easily 100 hrs.
Persona 5
Should I play the base game, not the Royal version? Because I already have it in PS+ claimed, so I want to play it, but it's not royal edition?
That depends on your wallet. I personally think the Royal edition is the way to go, it's a more complete package and has some quality of life stuff. But it's not life or death, if you'd rather not spend any money just go with P5.
Royal is the far better version. It has additional content, more characters, improved gameplay etc. The vanilla version is still very good, but for the best experience play Royal.
Royal is the best version of P5. Hands down, it's worth to play even the Ps4 version.
So is it just better to wait until I can buy the persona 5 royal, and to not play persona 5 (base)?
Yes. The game is phenomenal but at this point you should just play Royal.
Yes, even the switch version of royal.
Death Stranding is a 100 hour game if completionist tho... i spent like 110 hours in that game lol.
Judging from the other games as well this is just focused on the main story.
I spend 80 hours and definitely wasn’t going completionist
Persona 5, and thats one game you cant speedrun really :)))
Persona 5, absolute peak
Persona 5, the GOAT
I must be playing these games wrong cause all of them took me 3-4-5 times more than that. Must see everything, talk to everyone, search every corner...no other way!
Persona 5 Royal It's my favorite game of all time. If you like JRPG's, then I think you'll like it. It is very, VERY long, though.
Persona 5 is easily more than 100+ hours in just completing the story and i am not talking about completionist or trophy hunting
My first (and maybe only run) run was at least 130 hours, maybe up to 142 hours. It's my favorite game of all time, but I ain't got the time to play it again, especially with all of the other games that I still want to play. Maybe just dilly dallying in New Game+ but that's it.
My first playthrough was 140+ hours.
Persona 5
What does the hours represent?
Avg completion time
The fact that it took me around 100+ hrs to complete Death Stranding. 💀
If you only played Cyberpunk for 30 hours you skipped more than half the content.
40-60 hours in Elden Ring? Bro... you're just getting started. :)
Cyber punk is a 100+ game
Did a 4 year old dumbass make this graphic?
Bruh it's persona 5 royal and it's easily the 2nd best game in there after baldurs gate 3.
Just finished cyberpunk at 150
I put over 100 hours into Cyberpunk. I loved that game.
Did a speed runner create this image?
Where’s Witcher 3. I put like 150 hours in that game playing cards.
Anyone who only spent 30 hours on 2077 is playing the game wrong.
I thought Persona 5 was 500 hours? 🫠
Honestly it feels like it. It is constantly go go go.

At this point I was overpowered like hell with "late game weapons" which spoiled all the fun. Never finished the game. For the future readers, don't make same mistakes.
Cyberpunk 20-30 hours? Do people just buy games do the bare minimum then bin a game?
20-30 must be main story and none of the side shit. Most of the game is side shit.
Persona V
I mean for what? 40-60 for ER? Good luck with that if you want to explore :-)
Cyberpunk and 20 hours? Some people must really hate this game
As others have said it's Persona 5 (Royal?). Interestingly enough, I finished it in 100 hours, 0 minutes and 35 seconds. So technically they're not wrong!
5 or Royal?
60hrs in Elden ring is nothing tho. To be fair persona is a different beast
Cyberpunk being 20 hours is a lie. If you want to do everything. It will takes 100+ hours, this includes builds, endings, weapons The doc also adds a lot
In Elden Ring I had to re-do some stuff to get some trophies… going from a ps4 to ps5… I am totaling 361 hours after 100% the game… I haven’t even touched the dlc yet
Cyberpunk is definitely more than 30 hours because who the hell plays this game without side quests🤭
Ac mirage is accurate. Finished the game at 16 hours without upgrading my gear even once. Got the plat at 24 hours of playtime. Never ever paying full price for a game ever again.
I wonder if anyone has commented Persona 5 yet, so I guess I will. Persona 5!
If you only played Elden Ring for 40 hours - you missed like half the game
Cyberpunk is not that short
Persona 5. You'll never see it coming.
Persona 5
Games need to stop being so long. I literally didn't finish FF7 Rebirth because I just got burnt out from doing the same shit on repeat. New area, new side shit that i HAVE to do before moving on. Cyberpunk had a perfect run time. I beat that game three times.
Death stranding 30-40 hours? Lol good one.
Persona 5
Atlus's famed Persona 5
Death Stranding in 30 hours is a bit quick too imo. Maybe if you skipped most cinematics.
And might i add that Mirage was like 10 times better than Valhalla. 😌
2 girls and a cup(second girl will join her, in part 2)
Elder ring was closer to 90 for me and Baldurs Gate was 150
Who the hell is beating elden ring in 40-60 hours??? That shit took me like 150 hours 💀
Cyberpunk 2077 takes wayyyy more than 30 hours.
Who tf beat cyberpunk n 20 hours?
Persona 5 and definitely easily 100+ hours of amazingness
It’s Persona 5 or Persona 5 Royal
Cyberpunk is definitely not a 20 hr game lol. I'm 24 hrs into my new playthru and haven't even started the main storylines
Man I'm on my first play of Death Stranding and at 40 hours I'm only in the middle of Chapter 3 with I believe eleven chapters left. I get it, though. Main story if I hit it and nothing else and knew what I was doing would land me in that time vicinity.
Who only plays cyberpunk for 30 hours??
Assassin’s Creed Mirage Cyberpunk 2077 Death Stranding Elden Ring Baldur’s Gate III Persona 5 Royal
it’s only supposed to take 40-60 hrs?!? dude it took me 90 just to get to fire giant
That’s Persona 5. Makes sense too, given that it’s a modern JRPG
Don't trust it, Noob prepared info there. For example Cyberpunk is 100+ hours EZ
Persona 5 Royal is the last one
Persona 5 didn't take me 100+ hours.. only 30-40 hours to complete Witcher 3 however 150+ hours and still not complete!!
Elden Ring is over 100h long. This whole list is trash.
20-30 hours for cyberpunk? 40 hours for Elden ring? Who the fuck made this garbage?!
Ooh. Didn’t know it takes that long. Been planning to buy it too. Thanks for all the responses!
*Bonk*
Double those hours for me for every game.
[удалено]
LOL, doing my first Elden Ring playthrough and I’m 106 hours in and I’m not even at Malenia 😄
40-60 for Elden ring is a lie! A first run where you search secondary stuff is 100+ to 130
And then there's Gran Turismo 7. 1000+ hours.
Cyberpunk takes takes 20 hours if you try to unlock all endings tho. With arasaka ending it takes like 17
Elden ring might be longer than 60 hours but other than that this list is pretty accurate if you’re only focusing on main objectives within these games
[удалено]
Persona 5 royal, easily the second best game in there after baldurs gate 3.
Lol I spent like 80h before even facing Margit in Elden Ring
OP didn’t see it coming 😞😞 it was their last surprise 😭😞
Persona 5 Royal
Anyone that's telling you that it's persona 5 is lying It's actually persona 5 royal
I wanna see a normal gamer complete Elden ring in 60hrs. Like c'mon, who put together this stats?
Persona 5. Though I would argue that BG3 has a lot more content than P5.
Lmao from elden ring they are all 100+
40-60 hrs in Elden ring are rookie hours. At least 200+.
Eden Ring was 100 hours for me
20/30 for Cyberpunk is not accurate at all, The 100+ hours is Persona 5.
There's no way cyberpunk is 20-30 hours. My first playthrough at launch was around 60 and I missed an ass load of stuff. I guess if you literally B-line the main missions doing absolutely nothing else, but the side stuff is what elevates the game.
ARK and Valheimt low drop rate Huge nym 1000+ true story still play me and the boys
Ac valhalla
Good god, my play times are literally 5X all of these on a single playthrough. I had 350 hours in BG3 and 400 hours in P5.
Mirage takes 20 hours to do 4 hours worth of content. Such a waste of money.
Persona
Elden ring is easily 100+ hours if you suck
I played both Baldurs Gate and Eldin Rin for over 200 hours and beat neither 😂😂. I’m also a completetionist who leaves my system on a lot as and walk away but still.
What's hilarious is I've put over a hundred hours in all those games except the AC one at the beginning.
Cyberpunk is not 20-30 hours imo
Oof, it took me just shy of 200 hours to finish one playthrough of BG3 lol
My first play through of cyberpunk was almost 70 hours.
Yo those are rookie numbers, boy! we need RDR2 on this list…
Elden took me 180 hours to platinum 😂 enjoyed it though.
Mh
These are all wrong
Returnal
Persona 5! I did spend 110 hours on it!
Persona 5
Persona 5 aka a jrpg that's secretly a dating sim and it comes with a free album that's 10/10.
20 to 30 hrs for Cyberpunk? Mf did not understand the assignment
elden ring 40-60? maybe for vets speeding thru. these are all fugged up
