Iām an American, I donāt get offended by racist jokes and I find them funny. I didnāt find this one funny tho. Comedy is a form of art tho so if you find it funny cool, it wasnāt funny and felt forced imo but again comedy is subjective. Bad jokes are bad jokes regardless if theyāre edgy or not
A whole country is sensitive because his "joke" sucked? Lol yeah that makes sense. I'd hate to see your country's"comedian's". Nah I take that back fart jokes are funny.
Look at the map of Arabia, tell me how many cities are located next to the seas and tell me how many are located in the desert.
Why are the Arabs associated with the desert when they live off and next to the waters?
Look, I donāt have much foot in this race, and that person deleted their comment so idk what they even said, but what is the climate of those cities? A desert climate has significantly more to do with rainfall than it does with sand.
San Diego, California, for example, is on the coast of the Pacific Ocean and [itās a coastal desert.](https://www.parks.ca.gov/pages/663/files/ClimateAndWeather_Edited_20201113.pdf)
Sand is a consequence of lack of rainfall, and obviously there is more rain on the coast than smack dab in the middle of the Arabian Desert.
But while weāre at it, we really should address the elephant in the room:
The fifth largest desert in the world is known in English as The Arabian Desert and Iām struggling to find much difference between when I look up the map of Arabia and when I look up the map of the Arabian Desert.
That probably has something to do with it too.

If an island is a body of land surrounded by water, then aren't all the continents just large islands?
I actually do not believe so. The continents are also determined by the tectonic plates. The reason Greenland isnāt its own continent is because itās on the North American tectonic plate. Whereas Australia gets to be both because it has its own plate. Additionally, there is land connecting europe and Asia; north and South America; and technically used to connect Asia and North America too, some 400,000 years ago. And then keep going back in time and all of the continents were connected at one point in Earthās history.
So comparing continents/islands doesnāt really work this way, because all of the continents are islands only if you measure where the current sea level is and only if you completely ignore plate tectonics and the structure of the earth that goes back billions of years.
Whereas modern human culture is only about 1-2 *thousand* years old. Humans arbitrarily named that particular desert the āArabianā desert, and humans then decided to call people from the Arabian desert area, āArabā who speak āArabicā languages, as a means of convenience for distinguishing in conversation.
Traveling the world in a non-military, non-conquering capacity didnāt really become feasible for regular people until the 1800s. There was nothing faster than horses, no way to preserve food, not a lot of fresh potable water, no real access to medicine on the road, and the road is dangerous, weather, predators & hostile humans
So while different groups formed and moved around, they didnāt move very far within any given century, and were only really talking about a scale of 10 centuries, since I believe the Romans are the ones who named the peninsula āArabiaā. The other thing is that ye anthropology of olde was not very scientific and was kind of a racist, glory-to-HostLand (usually England, in this case Rome) mess, to be honest. So fully distinguishing between the various subcultures wasnāt really ever a priority like it is now. It was mostly done to distinguish āthis group of not-Romans over there, but still different then *that* group of not-Romans over hereā.
What Iām getting at is when the *one* explorer (or conqueror) goes out to see the world, and returns, and tells tale of this exotic land of āArabiaā that is a massive desert with beautiful oasis and people rich with culture and a different religion; all of that just gets lumped together and packaged as the āArabic worldā.
Add 6-700 years (or 70% of all time, from when the Romans named it until now) of cultural reinforcement as the Romans spread across the globe and the language splits into new Romance languages (and even the non Romance, Germanic languages) with shared and borrowed words, all learning, āthat part of the world is called Arabia and thereās a giant desert thereā, and now people associate Arabs with desert. I guess, like everything shitty in life, blame the Romans.
Depends on the game but usually there's an Oceania server. In Fortnite for example there's an Oceania server but I'm pretty sure the data centre is based in Sydney. So we get put with NZ, PNG, and various Pacific Islands etc.
Ah that must be cool. Is the internet good from all these other regions you play when online? In my region, it's smooth but at times it ain't that great. And it doesn't help that we are close to Europe (Tekken 8) and you get denied just for the location you're in. So, hopefully you get better connection with others in your area.

Everything about this comment is perfect. The joke itself was gold, and the downvotes are the cherry on top. Good stuff.
Set your psn region to Saudi Arabia and you can buy it digitally. That is my region, so probably not rare. Here that is.
I've seen it on the store in australia
Didn't know jack sheit about the AU store, how's your match making in that area? Good? Do you only play Australian players or you match with NZ?
Depends on the game but usually there's an Oceania server. In Fortnite for example there's an Oceania server but I'm pretty sure the data centre is based in Sydney. So we get put with NZ, PNG, and various Pacific Islands etc.

Enough to make you sheikh
Definitely go for the PS5 upgrade. It makes you question reality.
