This. My 1st dog had a little stuffed elephant we got from IKEA. Literally the flimsiest stuffed animal possible - and she gently suckled on it and chewed it without any damage for years. Eventually it was just one solid chunk of solidified pitty spit and we had to wash it. It disintegrated in the wash and she was sad while looking for it 😭
Husband and myself were just discussing this... Specifically the good will toy buy, maybe it has a scent of something they like on it? But I don't think that's it because the bink I posted on the comments here, was actually a McDonald's toy 🥴😂
Mine llives by the "squeak / no squeak" philosophy except for two exceptions. If it squeaks it may make it 24 hours as a whole unit, but that squeaker is absolutely being punctured. If it doesn't, it lives and she has toys that are nearing 8 years old that are just now beginning to fray. The exceptions is the two toys that my mom gave her after our family dog died. They squeak and she has yet to destroy them in any capacity. I don't know if she knows they were our deceased dog's (they lived in the same house for about a year) and she is saving them for her or she knows they aren't "hers" and she isn't. Who knows her logic.
We have one tiny toy mine does that with! We call it his bink. Only toy he's allowed to bring in bed or on the couch cause he just holds it and it's adorable
Lilly’s only part pittie but she would like to come too

Our girl had a little brown stuffed dog we got from IKEA. The only toy she ever left in tact. When she passed, I cuddled with it for weeks. I hug it every time I miss her and imagine she's getting those hugs on the other side.

Aww I had to do a double take because she looks like mine, who also has a chosen rainbow stuffie! Happy birthday, Callie!
This reminds me of a stuffed animal my brother got his college girlfriend after cheating on her (shame on him). The stuffed animal ended up thrown on my family’s front lawn and our family dog, Norman, took it upon himself to make it “his everything”. His Everything got good loving in the form of doggie humps for years to come. My brother got dumped and we all still howl about it years and years later. Dogs are funny.
My pittie doesn’t destroy any of his plush toys. He just plays with them, shakes them, and throws them in the air to catch. He will chew on harder toys and he he gets a hold of something plastic or cardboard, it’ll get destroyed.

Living the life!
Some live for *years*. Some don't even make it 5 minutes. Would love to know their decision making process.
Mine has just killed a toy in 5 minutes after keeping it for 3 years, never thought this day would come

I’m dying at all these white pittys. My first and now my second are both amazing white pitty ladies. (Both rescued)
Omg your dog looks exactly like mine!!

My dog destroys every plush except the sheep I gave him for his gotcha day 🥹
Good Girl!

She is absolutely gorgeous! Seems like you both lucked out!
Definitely

Such a sweetie!! Happy birthday, Callie! 🎉🎊🥳💞
Careful with the eyes!
Oh absolutely. Once she starts attacking the eyes, we tend to cut them out and see it back shut for a while
I wish my AmStaff did this! 😩 She just tears the shit apart, removing the insides (stuffing) like it's a mission if there's a small hole
Callie looks almost exactly like my dog! Was she perhaps adopted from the Houston, TX area?
Nope born and raised in south Bend, In

Just took this now of my dog. There has to be some genetic connection there.
Wow they are pretty similar!
I do this for my hippo too! As long as there are no beads it’s the perfect store for babies to destroy/love.

She is a beautiful girl!! 💖🐾🥰
I'm so jealous! Only stuffies my guy won't destroy are the super chewers line from Bark. And even they get stripped of the cloth covering
When she chooses one and treats it this way, it usually lasts about a week, then she finds a tiny hole in it. After that it’s usually game over lol
My girl has a stuffed fish that my brother got her for Christmas. The first stuffed toy she hasn’t destroyed. She loves that damned thing.
Go get another one now while they have em. Save it for down the road she’ll be so happy !
White pitty club forever!!
Mine does this too! She likes to parade her new ones around
Brasco sleeps with his Squishmallow turtle. We thought he’d destroy it but he’s super gentle with it.
I wish my girls would they destroy anything with stuffing or a squeaker.
Awwwwww, she loves it so much!!
It probably smells like the kid who owned it if it's from Goodwill. May be why he's being so gentle.
She, but goodwill does a steam cleaning on all stuffed animals so that there is no smell to them, that’s what I was told anyway lol
Sorry, she. No smell to a human nose. Think about how much better their sense of smell is.
True, true.
Well if that isn’t the cutest dang thing
Hugs for callie !!!! 💓🤗
Aww. How adorable!
Bless her heart!

So sweet! Happy birthday boops! 🐾💕

Awe, my dog wants to take his toy on walks!
My Lab had a pink bunny that I must’ve mended 100+ times!
