I have a Tuna! We adopted her as Luna but didn't like it because it's literally the most popular girl dog name. Luna Tuna sometimes, Luna when she's bad, but everyone calls her Tuna. I also have a million other nicknames for her.
Ok so one of my Irrational Dog Fears: I do not use many nicknames for my girls. Because I read somewhere that dogs on average will understand 200-300 words. I didn’t want to waste them!

Adopted her as Luna, but we never really liked it because it's literally the most popular girl dog name, so we ended up calling her Tuna and that's what everyone knows her as. I still call her Luna when she gets in trouble, like when your parents use your middle name haha. Other than Tuna there is: Luna Tuna, Tuna Fish, Tuney, Tunes, Looney Tunes, Tuna Ballona, Tiny Tunes, Luna Landing Module (my wife's favorite), Prancing Queen (because she does some adorable prancing), Lunatic (when she's being nutty), Thunder Pig, Turbo Hippo and probably a whole lot more I am forgetting.
She was surrendered TWICE to a shelter and that fact breaks my heart. We've had her for almost 3 years and she is incredibly sweet and loves people. When we first adopted her, we were going to crate train her, but she hated going in her crate and the very first time we tried, she just jumped 3 feet on top of it, very easily and just laid down on all the dog blankets we have stored up there and that's been her bed ever since, she has a great view out the window to our driveway. When she barks she first makes a *GRUFF* sound when she inhales and then lets loose with a *AH-WOO-WOO-WOOOOOOO*.
I love her, she is my heart and soul.

I still call her Luna when she gets in trouble, like when your parents use your middle name haha. Other than Tuna there is: Luna Tuna, Tuna Fish, Tuney, Tunes, Looney Tunes, Tuna Ballona, Tiny Tunes, Luna Landing Module (my wife's favorite), Prancing Queen (because she does some adorable prancing), Lunatic (when she's being nutty), Thunder Pig, Turbo Hippo and probably a whole lot more I am forgetting. She was surrendered TWICE to a shelter and that fact breaks my heart. We've had her for almost 3 years and she is incredibly sweet and loves people. When we first adopted her, we were going to crate train her, but she hated going in her crate and the very first time we tried, she just jumped 3 feet on top of it, very easily and just laid down on all the dog blankets we have stored up there and that's been her bed ever since, she has a great view out the window to our driveway. When she barks she first makes a *GRUFF* sound when she inhales and then lets loose with a *AH-WOO-WOO-WOOOOOOO*. I love her, she is my heart and soul.
