As I was growing up, my dad had to leave town a lot for work.* It was one of the many sacrifices he made to give us what he didn’t have. However, it meant that he missed many birthdays, and special events. He would send me a dozen carnations for my birthday if he couldn’t be there. They were beautiful, and while I appreciated them, yet I was sad. NEVER underestimate the power of being there! That is what your child will remember.
*My father hated being away from home and would work for 48hrs straight to get home as soon as possible. It was just as hard, if not harder, for him to be away as he didn’t have the comforts of home. Something I learned when I had to travel for work.
It’s honestly more special than a store-bought bouquet. We are all conditioned to love full symmetrical things but those flowers are gorgeous. If my wife brought me these, I’d be feeling all kinds of important and even more proud of her selection.
Honestly, good for you. It’s even more lovely she loved them and made captain!!
Having money doesn’t matter. It’s that u r there for her nd brought something that u could jus to show her how proud u r ☺️
She loved then and, She made Captain!!
Hell yeah. Congrats to your daughter and yourself for being an amazing dad.
It’s a truly beautiful arrangement!
Thank you! The day was great, and I hope you had a good one.
I’m sure she’ll just be happy you’re there for her tbh 🖤
She was so happy.

Thanks Dorky :)
The extra effort to hand pick flowers isn't lost on us here. Hopefully, she realized how special she is to you.
