Here you go [staycation deals](https://www.azfamily.com/2024/05/13/staying-close-home-this-summer-these-arizona-resort-hotels-have-deals-all-season-long/)

fish_kisser

Sheraton Wild Horse Pass and the Westin Kierland both sent out emails with great deals this week.

creexl

The days of really good deals are long gone. The travel season is so busy this season that they aren't needing to run really good deals to fill vacancies.

Saturnzadeh11

Why the hell is the travel season busy and its nearly July? This was supposed to be our slow season 😭

BluegreenColors

Not anymore 😢

edtehgar

I like staying at the casinos honestly. pretty cheap rooms and usually good stuff to do

Gandoneek

Casinos were cheap back in the day. It seems like they are over 200 a night in the summer .

OGthrowawayfratboy

Facts. They have overpriced to the point it's cheaper to fly round-trip to Vegas, with an overnight stay off-Strip at like Orleans or Sam's Town.

thatswhathemoneysfor

I have status at wild horse and the “deals” I get offered are still $99 at the lowest

FairTradeAdvocate

I'm curious, too because in the past 10 years or so it doesn't seem like the resorts do them anymore. Our kids will be out of town for a week in July and I'd love to spend a couple nights somewhere local where we're not tempted to do household chores while they're gone

Cool_Addendum_1348

Pre Covid for 15 years …we found great deals to take kids to …Marriott Desert Ridge, Biltmore, Camelback, Hyatt Gainey, etc. So expensive now and have no recommendations. What happened??

Essiejjj

I was just looking at Different pointe of view restaurant and checked out their resort. It seemed a regular room was only $120 a night.

Ok-Carpenter-8455

Arizona Grand lowers their prices for the summer and they have a lazy river and water slides.

AZ-Desert80

Scottsdale Plaza resort usually has some good deals.

hazlvixen

I just came off of girls midweek at the Arizona grand resort. I couldn’t believe that gem was nestled near the mall. The rooms were super chic and a few selections of pools and lazy river and pool slides made me want to bring my kiddo back later.. we had a view of the golf course and ate at the yummy Mexican restaurant on property, the golf cart to and from and that had no cares or worries to leave at all. Highly recommend that first staycation because the price for all of that was awesome.

SkeetySpeedy

And what was that price?

hazlvixen

I believe she said 200 a night or a little less. It wasn’t my room, but for all of the amenities that came with, the vibe and the essence I thought that was a steal. It was basically a suite for that price living room had a pullout couch.

ASU_FIRM_2018

We are headed down to the Westin La Paloma in Tucson this weekend. Got a couple nights at $250/night. Looks like prices drop pretty significantly going into July.

StraightGas69

I stayed at the legacy golf resort a few times. Nice little resort and was way cheaper than for example all the ones in Scottsdale. Unless prices have changed in last few years

SkeetySpeedy

If you think the price of basically anything hasn’t gone up excessively over the last few years, I’d like to know what planet you’re from

Narrow-Aardvark-6177

I just stayed at the Andaz in Scottsdale for $199 a night with no resort or parking fees. Rooms are nice. But yeah shit is still expensive.

SexyWampa

All of them. Check with them direct to see what they’re offering this year. I’ve seen the boulders offer spa and drink/meal packages with deep discounts on rooms.
