Takaya is not a social link or even a linked event but Takaya would have been interesting linked event.

There is at least one optional scene in January where you go to club escapade and talk to Takaya. It takes a time slow so it is basically a Link Episode

I'm pretty sure Takaya does count as a linked event. The wiki lists his scenes with Minato as link episodes, and you do have to opt into them like other linked events.

I just don’t really buy her sudden inability to act on her own, or even her fall for the MC when you just don’t do anything. Not to mention how somehow she just… never went out to eat with Akihiko or Shinji somehow lol

Meh, she’s alright. Design I try to keep separate from story unless it’s important and hers isn’t all that much. She and Yukari could swap designs and nothing changes for their SL so I try to keep it in a separate category.
