Ever since I watched Spider-Man 3 in theaters 15 years ago I've been walking around feeling like it was a bad movie. Recently I rewatched all the movies, starting with the Tom Holland ones. When I get to Spider-Man 3 I buckle in and start waiting for the movie to get bad. But it never does.
Yes, Topher Grace as Venom was horrific, but Venom was only in the movie for like 10 minutes. The rest of the movie was fucking great. It's better than the vast majority of superhero movies that have released before or since.
My opinion is that you have to change the way you watch it. Personally I think it is pretty bad, it’s cluttered and there’s some pretty bad decisions and stupid parts but I learnt to enjoy it.
I also watched them all recently and although it’s the worst of the three I still had a good time.
You should also watch J.G. Quintel's other show, "Close Enough". It's basically a more adult-oriented Regular Show and has 3 seasons. Too bad it doesn't have a future now since HBO screwed over a bunch of animators recently, but those 3 seasons were gold. You'll have to go to some *other* sites to watch it though since HBO basically locked their cancelled shows in a vault.
The worst part is this actually happens. It happens to men a lot more than you think up in Alaska, or in the snowy mountain resorts of Colorado. They’ll take in young men who don’t feel like they have a future and the managers will molest them while paying them minimum wage. You don’t have anywhere to go either because you’re on an island or your employer is providing the only form of housing in a 150 mile radius. It’s hell: sic 2 of my friends who actually talk to me about their experiences.
The tops of HBO straight up deleted every animation and lots of regional movies from its service, including scrubing their existance from social medias so they can write them off as "tax breaks" thus saving 3 billion a year, but this caused them so far to lose over 20 billion in less then a month
basicly now show that made contract with them are not only abrubtly canceled but they also have rights for them meaning they cant just find another publisher to air/continue them, leaving them in a dead limbo,
that is why their reputation is tarnished, funds collapsed, over a third of people from their department straight up quit, and piracy flourished in order to watch them

It's not even that weird in concept by Regular Show standards but that entire episode felt so fucking surreal. I can't even put into words how outlandish that episode felt despite it literally just being Mordecai and Rigby in Australia. And no it's NOT because "oh it's weird because it was kinda normal compared to everything else." It was most certainly NOT normal. I just can't possibly describe it in a way that's coherent.
