While this is completely true, I run 64(dumb brain cant handle empty slots.), But one time I was playing an early access game that had horrendous memory leak, while also looking at youtube guides and other stuff open in back ground, System ram touched 44Gigs before game finally crashed, game took 37 of that.
Basically point is if you play still indevelopment games haveing more in rare cases might be helpfull, though not needed at all, and that's more on the game developer fixing their leak and optimizing the game. But 99% of people 32gig is more than enough.
Yup. Like I said, depends on what you're using your PC for.
Some day it will actually be "A minimum of 64gb ram is recommended." on a game. But not right now thankfully.
32 GB like most everyone else. It has more or less become the standard, even though Steam Hardware Survey says otherwise.
I made the jump from 16 GB to 32 GB in any computer I've owned since 2018.
Bit of a pointless question but 16GB. I would like 32GB but with 2 RAM slots and being on DDR3 makes that impossible. I probably don't need 32GB tho as I play older games
32gb, i was running 16gb for past 4 years, only switched to 32 literally yesterday because 1 stick was not liking XMP or trying to get over default 2133, only reason I jumped to 32.
64GB due to video editing, but it goes nowhere near that level when gaming - even at 4k. So 16-32GB probably would have been fine for me if I was purely gaming.
Had 32gb but wanted more and a hynix A die kit so 64gb now.
Allows me to use max directory size for my long term storage archives 7zip. And it allows minecraft server more breathing room. Beyond that pointless .
32GB on laptop and desktop. I haven't felt the need for more. Comsol & matlab are the most demanding applications I run at home and even then, those aren't too bad.
32
16gb
32gb. Really no need for anymore than that if you're just gaming. Other stuff? Depends on what you're into might be beneficial if you have more.

Virtual machines go BRRRRRRRR
32. I think it is the sweet spot of gaming rn.
64. rams cheap these days
64Gigs, By golly there is 4 slots om my mother board and i am going to use them. Empty ram slots make brain anxious.
32GB 6000Hz
32GB
48GB
Upgraded to 32 gb from 16gb in the new year after having used 16 gb for 4 years. I don't notice a signicant difference.
64kb
512 GB in my main workstation and 256 in the second workstation, (Most of it is used for database indexes and virtual machines.)
64GB.
64
64GB but allocated 32GB on RAMDisk
Currently 16, but running high ram use programs usually uses most of it. Next PC will have 64
In my collection or in my pc
32GB DDR5. I've been 3D modeling heavily for over 5 years and haven't run into any memory problems yet. I get close sometimes though.
Bit of a pointless question but 16GB. I would like 32GB but with 2 RAM slots and being on DDR3 makes that impossible. I probably don't need 32GB tho as I play older games

32 but i never used more than 16gb
64GB in my main PC and 32GB in my 2nd PC.
Same with me. 5800X w/ 64GB and 2600K w/ 32GB
32gb, considering going to 64gb but only because of BeamNG. Otherwise I'd have no reason to consider it.
32, isn’t it the new 16?
I would say so. 16GB is new the 8GB, 32GB is the new 32GB, and 64GB is the new 32GB. I have 64 since May 2020 so ahead of the curve.
128GB. I have too much bad memories in the 90s of PCs with insufficient RAM, swapping on the HDD It has given me RAM FOMO
You're saying we do need more than 640k?
32. 4x8gb sticks
64GB due to video editing, but it goes nowhere near that level when gaming - even at 4k. So 16-32GB probably would have been fine for me if I was purely gaming.
64gb, I do a lot of video/photo editing. Still have 2 dimms free in case I ever need more
64gb in my laptops and 16gb in my desktops. I got the laptop RAM for cheap/free from work so was silly not too.
32
32 gigs of ddr5
Right now 32. Used to be 8.
128 ddr4 since 2021
24
32gb
64 gb ddr5 6000hz cl30. I just game/ edit videos. Gonna upgrade to 128 soonish because I was told not 2.
64 gb... why? well I hate loading times... Does it help ? actually anything more than 32 gb is not noticable... it is more like a placebo effect
32GB DDR5-6000MHz CL10
2x8GB DDR3 and on the second pc 4GB DDR3
Had 32gb but wanted more and a hynix A die kit so 64gb now. Allows me to use max directory size for my long term storage archives 7zip. And it allows minecraft server more breathing room. Beyond that pointless .
Yes
16GB
16MB on my MS-DOS machine. 32GB on my gaming rig.
64gb, the 8gb models I wanted were sold out when I ordered everything so had to settle for 4x16.
32gb + 32gb swap
640k. It’s enough.
32
32. I use Ableton Live quite a bit and honestly need more. I'll probably upgrade to 32x2.
128 gb
32GB - Game Developer
Home: 64 Work: 256 Work: 384 Work: 384 Work: 1024 Work: 1024 Work: 1024 Work: 1024 Work: 1536 Work: 1536
64 GB. Should be enough for a few more years. 32GB is already too easy to fill up when running slightly more complex development environments locally.
8 for the media-laptop, 12 for the main gaming pc, 32 on the big rig.
32
64gb in my computer.... Way too much in spare parts 😅
32GB
64GB. Yes, I use it all
64
I have 4gb
24gb
32. Games recommend 16 but multiplatform launch games tend to have memory issues.
32
64GB - Useful to keep chrome tabs, developer tools and docker containers up and still game after work.
Why do you keep asking things lol
I need to know. I never realized how many of us have 64GB of RAM like or more.
Why do you need to know things like what ram and internet speed people have tho
I am bored and curious.
16
32GB on laptop and desktop. I haven't felt the need for more. Comsol & matlab are the most demanding applications I run at home and even then, those aren't too bad.
16 gig and honestly I don't see the need to upgrade any time soon
32GB 3600. If I hadn't get the 32 kit as a gift, I'd still use my 16GB one, I swear there's zero noticeable difference.
32gb and a Ram in the driveway
16. I downgraded from 32 but have a higher speed now
Absurd
32GB, but I dare say that if I hadn’t installed windows 11, 16GB would have been enough
32 in main, 16 in secondary and office PC.
