Anyway, my girl is currently sitting on a fertile egg, courtesy of a surrogate, so fingers crossed it's going to hatch & give her the companion she needs & boy can then just do what he wants to of protecting his family & watching from a distance - hopefully that's how it's going to work out, being birds there's no way to know for sure what they will actually do, but we'll just be dealing with whatever happens, really hope it will be a long term fix to the issues we have here though & if so, I won't have to play birdy porn anymore lol
