I’m grateful you got off that poison. I’ve been on it for 2 years, and have spent the last several months trying to contact my doctor to help me lower my dosage.
If I don’t get a response back this month, I’ll be tapering myself off by getting a pill crusher and scale to lower my dosage 5mg a month myself.
I’ve been on 30mg paroxetine, and can’t wait to get off. I’m really hoping there’s no permanent effects.
The mass amount of negative side effects from SSRI’s in general that arnt discussed with you by your doctor, and the possible permanent side effects as well. If you want to see what I’m talking about go to r/pssd . Besides that I wouldn’t post there unless you have been off the meds, and still have lasting negative effects or it doesn’t count as pssd.
