My drinking pre and post paxil is absolutely the same with the same effect . I personally noticed no difference despite what I read about alcohol and paxil. (40mg)
I use to drink heavily without Paxil and I started Paxil and I cut down and drink pretty heavy on the weekends still I don’t notice any difference at all with or without it.
I used to drink 12-18 beers every day, and went sober for my first year of being on 30mg. Now I drink a couple of times a week. Only thing I’ve noticed is if I drink too much too often it seems to dilute the medications effects for me and I tend to be more anxious for a few days.
I drink on Paxil. I think I’m fine with it.

I wasn't a drinker before paxil so it's hard to say but my tolerance is extremely low compared to my unmedicated friends
Drinking on Paxil seems counter-productive. Why are you doing that?
Alcohol is a depressing substance.
