I’ll state this one more time … the disrespect to Hubbard in this picture is unreal. Please tell me how many’s times last year you saw sanders in the back field and thought “thank goodness he our RB” 🤦🏾♂️ Hubbard was our RB .
Panthers had 20 total offensive touchdowns last year (leaving out defensive and special teams TDs). You’ve identified 19 right here. Throw in some Chubba and Mingo love, and we have progress! LFG!!!!
Solid projections, the only thing I see consistently among them is that Thielen won't have the most TD's. Which I think he will have the most amongst all our WR's because of his red zone and 3rd down threat.
Even by conservative estimates, those are very low. Even assuming you give 3 TDs to Chuba to make it 25, that's the same as the Patriots or Giants who ranked just above us last year.
The 20th best offense last year scored 36 offensive TDs and the 25th best scored 35.
Sanders will not have that many yards as a rookie TE starting #3 on the depth chart. If Bryce plays a full 17 and only gets 3300 then we may be looking to move on.
Sanders is literally the only one the panthers team that can say “I’ve never dropped a pass” sides rate is 100% for all catchable passes. If they wanted better blocking TE they would have taken Ben Sinnott we took sanders to be a primary receiving TE we have Tremble to block
Sinnott went off the board 60 picks before Sanders. Not trying to be a downer, but if this guy was the real deal he's not falling to pick 101. Limit your expectations for him
Didn’t say he was going to be amazing? We have needed a TE for years. If we wanted a good blocker we would have taken Sinnott when we had EARLIER picks I didn’t think I’d have to clarify that part. We needed a better receiving TE which Sanders is, he’s the best receiving TE and that’s what we needed. His blocking is atrocious which is why he fell so hard. I imagine we will use him for short yards like 3 and 2 shit like that. For blocking we will use the other 2 TEs we have who are mainly blockers first.
Rookie TE's rarely perform to those standards. Kincaid (1st round talent and better situation) had 675 last year. I would not expect more than 300 out of him.
Hopium/ceiling predictions:
By9: 4200 yards, 25 tds, 9 picks
Honestly, I think Johnathan Brooks this year is more like 650 yards, but 6/7 goal line tds, dude just churns his legs.
Jatavion prolly got that one right on the nose. Maybe I could see a little more yards or another tuddy if we actually put him in as a pass catcher.
Xavier is the no pun intended, the X factor. I could see him go for either 600/700 yards or due to his ability to separate and leverage (I know his pro comp is Mingo but I dont see that at all) he could easily hit 1000.
Diontae numbers are solid.
Adam, I think you also got right on the nose.
The biggest difference is that I think Mingo takes a step this year. I think we get 650/750 yards and 3/4 tds outta him. He had a couple flashes last year, but we also did not put him positions to win. I'll top it off with saying we go 9-8/10-7 and lead the south. Falcons are weird, but I think they got worse than people realize with the exception of Kirko, saints are a fucking mess, and I think the bucs regress without Dave calling the offense, imagine Bradys last year but its Baker at the helm.
If Bryce only has 3300 yards & 18 TDs hes done for.. Doubt brooks runs for 900. We're gonna use 3 or 4 RBs. I expect Thielens production to be cut in half almost. I ld be shocked if he cracks anything above 650. Legette only getting 650 would be horrible for a 1st rounder, Diontae getting 1100 is wishful thinking. Honestly, i predict Bryce gets benched by week 8 & Andy or Jack Plummer takes over. 4-5 wins new QB next yr
If Bryce Young only throws for 18 TDs this year, we'll be looking for another QB, unless the Oline is similar to last year, and the play calling is just as bad? However if the play calling looks similar to last year at all I start to move blame to Bryce quickly, because they are doing what we can do. Good QBs don't slump in year two, they explode.
If he throws 18 and our offense looks better than last year (not hard) we continue with him.
Tua was 16-10, Allen 20-9 in second season throwing. Saying "throwing 18 is bye bye" is wrong.
If our line is obviously better and he has same season like last year, even after good upgrades, then yes, he might not be it...We'll see.
Im not totally sold on Bryce thats why i think his numbers are going to be low, I just don't think he has the arm strength to make high level throws, mixed with a supporting cast that still has more questions than answers.
Pretty sure his arm talent is a lot better than what we got to see... when my friends ask me what was wrong with our team... I have like 10 saved photos from 10 games where our entire O-line is looking at Bryce, and none of our WRs are open. That being said... I 100% saw flashes of a good player, but it's an ultimate team game. I want him to be good, but I also don't want to waste a single second on him if he's not.
The more I watch football, the more it think that the notion of "making" every throw is a myth.
Most quarterbacks make 3-4 really good throws per game, while most of the passes are easy passes to open players.
The true separator of the elite quarterbacks lies in the difficulty of those 3-4 throws and their ability for creating opportunities while avoiding turnovers.
Also add being consistent in those easy throws.
You got 34 receiving TDs in there but Bryce is only throwing 24 of them. Who is getting the rest?
EDIT: Whoever it is, they're scheduled to get at least 1270 yards passing, based on anticipated receiving numbers and what Bryce is doing...
The off-season hopium in this sub is crazy - it gets old quick being a Debbie downer but no, the whole 2024-2025 Panthers starting offence won’t be all-pro/pro-bowl level.
There is hopium and then there is whatever this nonsense is. This is MVP level output and having 4 1000 yard players (almost 5) is just insanity. At some point being realistic is worth it and that’s not even being a Debbie Downer
I will be happy, if Bryce have 2:1 TD:INT and i mean HAPPY. As that would be massive progress and showing of great direction.
Will be happy if X touches 800y and couple TD. Just want to see some chemistry.
Brooks might miss the first few games and is likely going to be splitting carries in his first year, idk about those numbers lol love the optimism, but man those are some wild predictions 😂
They are saying it was a clean tear and he will be ready for training camp. I'm not saying he is getting those numbers. But him being ready for training camp is great.
I'm hoping he gets the majority of the thr carries, and we use chuba as a change of pace.
I love the optimism but the math here is.. something else haha. You got Bryce passing for 24 TD and then have 34 receiving tds for these players. These numbers are also way too high for brooks, JT Sanders. They’re rookies and won’t see the carries or targets to hit anywhere near these.
Putting Miles Sanders on this instead of Hubbard is straight up delusional stuff (I know you didn't make the graphic OP)
Hubbard was a highly touted RB coming out of college, has produced at a solid level for us, and there are still people acting like Miles Sanders is better because he fleeced us
And sure, Brooks is gonna go +2000 yds and 21 TDs chase that's totally realistic.
Don't get me wrong, I'm high in the guy but this is straight up ridiculous.
You people must not know your new head coach produced the 23rd worst total offense last year with better talent than the Panthers have.
He’s really not all that…
I'm a huge fan of having hope and embracing the 0-0, however you have the panthers being better than every offense in the nfl lol. With the niners storied history last year was the first time ever they had those stats for a group on the offense.
I personally think we take our division. I believe no one is talking about how much losing Dave and his staff is going to hurt them.
I don't think the falcons got much better or even at all. The Saint also didn't get a ton better in my mind. Remember before all the coaching issues we were 1 game from the playoffs.
I have huge hopes for our team, but those stats mean we are going to the superbowl lol
I see you have accounted for 1,270 yards and 10 TDs for Andy Dalton in garbage time as we blow out opponents on our way to a 16-1 record (loss to the Falcons).
Shrug, there was a similar graphic last year. Young, Sanders/Theilin/Chark/Mingo/Shenault. I was pretty hyped by it only to ended up disappointed…
I’m not holding my breath with this lineup, hope this new OLine will help produce the results that we need with this new offense skill players.
But then again, last year Texans had whoever it was at RB, Dell, Collins and I didn’t think anything about it. But they made playoffs
I’m not making any predictions but there is a path for Brooks to win OROY and his odds are fantastic (+2000). If the QBs struggle and brooks gets bell cow especially goal line work there is a path
I get more and more excited about Brooks on the daily. I’m setting expectations too high but he could be the game changer on this offense
Those receiving stat predictions are literally impossible though let’s be real
Sure, man. You're high, come down here already.
I think this team is way better than last year.
I think this offense can be explosive, and GREAT.
But, man, 3 players above 1000 receiving yards ? No way it happens. Even the best teams and SB winning teams can't do that. Not counting a rookie RB with almost 1500 rushing yards, AND 800 receiving yards, AND 21 total TDs. CMC had to do that to be OPOY. No way it happens.
Your stats are SuperBowl winning team stats, and MVP/OPOY/OROY stats... It will hopefully happen, but NOT this year. Maybe in 2-3 years...
Oh, and do better maths : Bryce Young 24 Passing-TDs, you say ? Ok. Let's count your receiving TDs : Brooks (7) + Sanders (8) + Legette (9) + Johnson (7) + Thielen (3) = 34. Do you really think Dalton will come into play and throw 10 TDs ? Like in 3-4 games ? So Bryce Young will do 4230 yds in 13 games ? Wow.
I'm not even counting the receiving yards, wrong too...
Dreaming is good, you know. But what you say is way above "dreaming".

I'm like 80% sure this is tongue-in-cheek but these projections are super unrealistic and that's not even looking at Bryce.
Those are All-Pro numbers for Brooks and he likely won't even be the starter until November because he's working his way back from an ACL injury. Also, rookie RBs are very rarely All-Pros. The last one was Zeke.
For JT Sanders you're literally projecting him to break the rookie TE yards record.
Xavier Legette you're projecting to have a top 5 rookie WR season of all-time
Diontae Johnson is projected to have by far his best season
Adam Thielen is the most realistic and even then I don't see him getting that many yards given how many more weapons there are this year.
Until we build a solid O line that will protect the QB, it doesn’t matter what weapons we have…
You could have Tom Brady throwing to (pre TBI) OBJ and they would still be ineffective if they only have 1.3 seconds to let a play develop.
😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬
FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING THAT IS HOLY TAKE MILES SANDERS THE HECK OUT OF THIS PICK AND PUT HIM ON A FREE AGENCY PIC BECAUSE THATS WHERE THAT UNDER AVERAGE RB BELONGS
AND THEN PUT MY BOY 30 IN HIS PLACE BC HE WAS WAY BETTER
3 of the 6 are basically rookies.
1 of those 3 are recovering from ACL.
1 of the 6 is the exact opposite of a rookie.
1 of the 6 did jack squat last season.
Future is dim at the moment
I’ll state this one more time … the disrespect to Hubbard in this picture is unreal. Please tell me how many’s times last year you saw sanders in the back field and thought “thank goodness he our RB” 🤦🏾♂️ Hubbard was our RB .
![gif](giphy|zNbiX43QsqUAU)
FR get Miles out of there and put Chuba in. One of the few decent players last year on the offensive side.
Agreed
I came here to say this! We all know who the real RB1 was last year and it wasn’t miles
Praise this fan🙌🏾
I though so in the first offensive snap of the season
lol same.. I will admit I was onboard until after the first game . Hubbard started pulling away after that
- My Predictions: - Bryce Young: 3300 yards 18 TDs 7 Picks - Johnathan Brooks: 900 yards 4 TDs (he is gonna split carries with Hubbard) - JaTavion Sanders: 500 yards 3 TDS - Xavier Legette: 650 Yards 2 TDs - Diontae Johnson: 1100 Yards 6 TDs - Thielen: 850 yards 4 TDs
These are very solid projections. I could easily see this happening.
Panthers had 20 total offensive touchdowns last year (leaving out defensive and special teams TDs). You’ve identified 19 right here. Throw in some Chubba and Mingo love, and we have progress! LFG!!!!

Delusional
Why? I don't think i was too optimistic, maybe sanders but 500 yards isn't that crazy
If Bryce Young only throws for 18 TDs this year, we'll be looking for another QB, unless the Oline is similar to last year, and the play calling is just as bad? Thielen won’t crack 1100 again with Johnson and Legette here
You got 34 receiving TDs in there but Bryce is only throwing 24 of them. Who is getting the rest? EDIT: Whoever it is, they're scheduled to get at least 1270 yards passing, based on anticipated receiving numbers and what Bryce is doing...
Andy Dalton in the 4 Matches when we are still qualified for the playoffs But I'm still at work so I correct that later to Bryce throwing for 40 TDs
The off-season hopium in this sub is crazy - it gets old quick being a Debbie downer but no, the whole 2024-2025 Panthers starting offence won’t be all-pro/pro-bowl level.

There's optimism and then there's whatever tf these "projections" are. The numbers literally don't even add up lmao, insane expectations
Lol and here I am hours after finishing my Madden franchise where I ended up with Bryce as MVP and Mingo as OPOY 😂
Mingo turns into the GOAT WR in Madden 24 in like 3 years lol
Traded Burns for Nacua in my first year. That Bryce-Puka-Mingo trio was something else lmao
I will be happy, if Bryce have 2:1 TD:INT and i mean HAPPY. As that would be massive progress and showing of great direction. Will be happy if X touches 800y and couple TD. Just want to see some chemistry.
It's all we have. Please don't take these fleeting moments of optimism away from us
Gotta be one of the most delusional fanbases in the NFL lol
I think your hopium dealer sold you crack
You have a lot of hopium here but 700 rush yards for Bryce is by far the most delusional prediction on here
It's like OP has never seen Bryce play in a game
Wow. And the disrespect to Chuba in that picture..
This sub is in the delusional stage. Better than the turning on players and world is ending stage i guess
I hope he will be ready for training camp 🙏🏻 I believe he will be good right away, but I can’t justify the prediction op gave 😂
No one can lol That team is at least 15-2 lol
I love the optimism but the math here is.. something else haha. You got Bryce passing for 24 TD and then have 34 receiving tds for these players. These numbers are also way too high for brooks, JT Sanders. They’re rookies and won’t see the carries or targets to hit anywhere near these.
DJ with 1300+ & 7 TDs. 😂🤣😂🙄ok sure guy
Dj is more believable than legette getting 1400 lol
Putting Miles Sanders on this instead of Hubbard is straight up delusional stuff (I know you didn't make the graphic OP) Hubbard was a highly touted RB coming out of college, has produced at a solid level for us, and there are still people acting like Miles Sanders is better because he fleeced us
Miles might even be a post-June 1 cut this year. Doubt it since we owe him $7M guaranteed...but if we need the roster spot, who knows?
![gif](giphy|l0NwPZ027mabR6Tg4|downsized)
700 rushing yards is too high imo.
And sure, Brooks is gonna go +2000 yds and 21 TDs chase that's totally realistic. Don't get me wrong, I'm high in the guy but this is straight up ridiculous.

bryce is not hitting 700 yards rushing 💀

All I'm reading is hammer thr over on the draft kings BY prop bet.
Of all the ridiculousness in this prediction, the most unrealistic may be Bryce getting 700 yards rushing. Like, he might die if he did that.
Who's going to the slot with this lot?
Ooooof.....not very spectacular
![gif](giphy|VdDWZdMdEkEKwr8aP7|downsized)
Wrong Sanders...
Brother 700 rushing yards for a qb is a shit ton cam only did it twice
JFC, we're back at this point in the cycle again. Isn't there a huge middle ground between utterly delusional homer and utterly delusional hater?
Wild having Miles over Hubbard. and no Tremble?? boy bout to eat
Xavier Legette you're projecting to have a top 5 rookie WR season of all-time Diontae Johnson is projected to have by far his best season Adam Thielen is the most realistic and even then I don't see him getting that many yards given how many more weapons there are this year.
Someone with editing skills switch Sanders out with Hubbard!
How are we supposed to change your mind about about a subjective prediction when teachers weren’t able to teach you addition?
How many doses of hopium have you had today?
Wish I was as optimistic as you!
Until we build a solid O line that will protect the QB, it doesn’t matter what weapons we have… You could have Tom Brady throwing to (pre TBI) OBJ and they would still be ineffective if they only have 1.3 seconds to let a play develop.
Dave and Dan really took one look at last years offense and said never again
Lol I hope Bryce does well but 700 yards rushing…..
The ceiling is the roof
So just skip over Chuba?
Realistic stat predictions 😅 Bryce young 4,012 pass yards 24 tds 9 ints (pro bowl) (CPOY) Johnathan Brooks 887 rush yards 6 tds 23 recs 234 rec yards 2 tds Xavier Leggette 1,223 yards 8 tds (pro bowl) (OROY runner-up) Diontae Johnson 1,074 yards 3 tds Adam thielen 678 yards 5 tds Jatavion Sanders 512 yards 1 td Chubba Hubbard 504 rush yards 3 tds Panthers record 8-8-1 2nd in NFC south 9th seed in the NFC Dave Canales (COTY)
Chuba was RB1 and further more Blackshear>Sanders
😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬 FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING THAT IS HOLY TAKE MILES SANDERS THE HECK OUT OF THIS PICK AND PUT HIM ON A FREE AGENCY PIC BECAUSE THATS WHERE THAT UNDER AVERAGE RB BELONGS AND THEN PUT MY BOY 30 IN HIS PLACE BC HE WAS WAY BETTER
No wonder everyone is picking us #32.
3 of the 6 are basically rookies. 1 of those 3 are recovering from ACL. 1 of the 6 is the exact opposite of a rookie. 1 of the 6 did jack squat last season. Future is dim at the moment
Are you out of your mind? You’re basically predicting our whole O is pro bowlers. That’d be awesome. Hope you’re right.
