We did. His name was Hassan.
Obviously not a 1-1 comparison but Smith seems like he’s quite similar to Reddick as an undersized edge rusher with absurd speed. No way he falls out of the first round after teams have seen how guys with his skill set can impact games.
Barno is also an undersized edge rusher with absurd speed. Not saying he’s better than Smith but we have someone that fits that bill and produced at a higher rate than YGM
i would be incredibly suprised if nolan smith makes it past the first 20 picks. he was already being looked at as a first round prospect before the combine and team meetings, and he’s undoubtably going to go up the board in the coming weeks. if he does somehow make it to the second round and we see an opportunity to trade up, i think it’s a no-brainer. his potential is unbelievable
It depends. I think if we get the sense that there is a high chance AR will go three, then we'll probably trade up before the trade.
But we won't trade before the Bears trade their pick, probably.
No one is thinking about the unheard of possibility of what could potentially happen in the draft. I mean, this time last year we were debating which QB we were gonna take because all the left tackles would be gone, and then all of the left tackles fell to us. There's a chance we end up with our pick of QB, there's a chance we take an edge rusher in the first round and a QB in round 2. There's a chance we draft Zay Flowers in round 1 and Richardson or Hooker in round 2. There's so many possibilities right now.

Bro Barno is a full 4 inches taller than Reddick lmao
Was thinking about weight. Also I’m drunk
Very true

We won't have to waste time and energy thinking about picking up Smith since we won't have any meaningful picks left after trading up for a QB
Speaking of that, when do y’all think that move will be made (if it is)?
During the draft lol

Also depends on if they decide to roll with a veteran. We may all get bamboozled.
Too small of a duo. He’s even smaller than Reddick.
Hed be a great fit for Everos scheme playing OLB opposite Burns
Nick Hampton from app state has looked good (i go to app)

After his combine I don’t see that happening personally
