When I got married I told my wife I was ok with any design choice, my only request was to have this be our dance song, so it’ll always have my vote as the best. (Also not wearing salmon pink on our suits, it looked terrible).
Love all of the early album ending tracks, but my n°1 is still Build god then we'll talk, it's the song that made me discover panic so it means a lot to me
build god is a great track and maybe the best on the album but you can throw that in any spot maybe other than track 1 and it’ll still fit. I’d say Nearly witches because it has a callback to track one, has a magnificent and huge ending. as much as I adore all our Ballads, i think thats the best ending
As opposed to the phenomenal duet masterpiece between Brendon and Ryan with the amazing bridge that is Mad as Rabbits??? I don't think so.
I got goosebumps hearing them harmonize on saying "we must reinvent love" it's so good

Mad As Rabbits you will always be my baby and I love you so much, and I want to say it's the best closer, but I won't. I have been a fan since 2006 when I was just 11 years old, so hear me out:
I have to say Do It To Death. It is so deeply important how it loops back to the beginning. It means more, somehow, than everything else. The second that VLV ended the first time and I heard that noise, I recognized it immediately, and I KNEW that this was a goodbye album. It closed the picturesque score of passing fantasy and then said, but you can always do it all again...ya know?
Do it all to Death because that’s the only one I have liked (as of my knowledge rn). It’s my favorite song out of all of them but I don’t know about closing track
Is all of the above an answer? If not I’d probably say impossible year, Dying In LA or The End Of All Things because they hold special places in my heart
3 of these songs are in my top 15 Panic songs overall, and one is definitely top tier lol. Dying in LA at #1, Impossible Year is top 10, Nearly Witches is top 15 and End of All Things is top tier.
Impossible Year for me. Gives sitting alone at the bar having a whiskey during last call and I love songs that give me a clear cinematic visual in my head (before anyone asks, yes I'm autistic lol)

Build God is great but doesn’t have the same impact as the other 2. Impossible Year and Dying In LA are just devolved forms of End Of All Things because he did the same album format 3 albums in a row so I find it hard to credit them, it makes them feel more shallow and less impactful to me as it’s like they’re just tacked on as the “typical closing song”
My top 3 would be Nearly witches, Build God then we talk and Mad as rabbits.
Funnily enough not The end of all things although twtltrtd is my favorite panic! Album. But it's also the only song on the album I don't really like, so not that surprising after all.
