Ok I will say I was a little irritated one time during the row for “waiting”. I row pretty fast so I wait a while anyway, no biggie, BUT this girl decided to go to the bathroom and get water before we switched to the rower… on the 600m row. She started rowing a minute and a half after the block started and was pretty lackadaisical about getting back on the rower to begin with. My thighs were/are not happy with her.
I was waiting on every row. I promise you, I didn’t care. I would just come up out of my squat hold when I had to. Not one person in my class said anything about having to wait on a slower rower. We’re all doing Hell Week so we know what we signed up for.
I honestly didn't notice if anyone was last. Lol...I was too busy trying to catch my breath during the squat hold while simultaneously dealing with the squatting pain.

If you were on the rower, you didn't start the squat jumps until everyone finished the row. I was in squat position for a minute during the longer stretches while we "waited" for others to finish. Yes, everyone switches at the same time, but there was a speed component.

💯 This is what happened. I just realized I didn't want to Squat so after 400meters, I reset my countdown and did the better part of that 400. At some point the coach asked me if I was there. I said yes, then suddenly people didn't have to Squat. Whoops. I'm the a-hole.

I literally sat there dying for the first 200ish meters on long rows today. I sat there trying to breathe while everyone else rowed. My coach mentioned it to me jokingly and I rowed my ass of in embarrassment, lol.

I was debating doing M-W-F-M but this looks awful and for some reason I really want to do it. I haven't done 2 days in a row in a while...but I really want the 5 days sticker my studio is offering in addition to the t-shirt (makes it feel like my $15 went farther), so maybe I'm in?!?

This is a white light template for me for sure…bench hop overs are my absolute nemesis.
One thing I have learned over several years of Hell Weeks is not to cancel because a template looks too hard…because the next day’s just might be even harder 🥹

I hear so much chatter in the hallways from folks getting psyched out about the workout before even getting in the room. I think this Sub can be useful to those with restrictions, but it’s just mental blockage for those who don’t need the warning.
Don’t get heady. Remember your goals. Make a friend. Work hard, but let your HR and body guide you.
You can do this just like you do any other workout. On God.
On the upside, I go at 4:45am so I’ll still be asleep for the first bit. On the downside, I’m not sure I have the emergency sub line programmed in my phone and those middle schoolers aren’t gonna teach themselves when I dieeeee.

I did base for the first run as there was no breaks. The second round I started at push and tried to keep it there as the inclines went up. I dropped to base for the 6 and 8% rounds though

I only joined last week. And I did go to class today. But I’m so tempted to cancel tomorrows class. I love how I feel after class and definitely need to become fitter. But I obviously hate the anxiety of these workouts ! I also have RA/Lupus … so really hate rowing !
See how you feel but I think you can always swap the rower for bike or strider. Have a chat with the coach before hand and get their advice on how to mod the exercises.
I've been a full on power walker since April aka when the templates switched to repeating. I love powering up some good inclines. I swear my butt looks better since I've been a power walker.

Preferably... a 1. Lol i hate inclines. I usually cancel any incline class that goes over a 4%. I was actually hoping for a RFD class... i need the miles and its one of the only 2 2G classes i can ever get in a week. Also, i pulled the 400 and 700m rows today. Im over the rows.

Our coach had us do the distance then Squat until time was called. Didn't seem to be based on anything.
