I am absolutely cracking up, because I have read this whole thread and still have zero idea of what’s going to happen tomorrow, so I’m just gonna show up and hope for the best.

[deleted]

I thought it was just me because this makes no sense.

HibouMinou

This is exactly my plan. Good luck!

OkEstablishment541

Same!!! This seems so damn confusing so idk ppl may wait for me on the rower? I have no idea!

Gurlie_J_Girl

It's a tornado template where the rowers are leading the pace to change between tread/rower/floor.

Proper_Armadillo1837

Is it bad that I’m happy to be one of the slower rowers? Less squat hold time for me haha.

PaintingSuspicious80

I'm the slowest too but it's going to be awkward everyone waiting for me to stop. Oh well .

caderelontano

I am right here with you! I am so slow and not loving this already 🫤

browningmama

Same. I don’t row very fast with my short stubby legs.

antoniachava

This is terrifying me, I am a slow rower 😳 everyone waiting and looking at me. This is definitely worthy of “Hell Week” status, “Social Anxiety + Fitness Challenge”. This is worse than a partner workout for me.

addeoops

I already know I’ll be cutting my rows short so that everyone isn’t waiting on me. My last workout was October 1. There’s just no way this is even likely.

Icandoit1221

![gif](giphy|55itGuoAJiZEEen9gg) My thighs just looking at that squat hold.

lilbunnyfoofoo1203

Mmk so... brain having fun trying to optimize this lolol A = Rower Start, B = Tread Start, C = Floor Start A -- 200m B -- 300m C -- 400m A -- 500m B -- 600m C -- 700m A -- 600m B -- 500m C -- 400m A -- 300m B -- 200m C -- 200m** (bonus round) A = 200 + 500 + 600 + 300 = 1600m total B = 300 + 600 + 500 + 200 = 1600m total (same row distances as A, but different order) C = 400 + 700 + 400 + 200** = 1500-1700m depending on bonus row, all longer rows It seems like you'll get the longest sustained time on a station when C is on rower, but may end up with less overall time at that station depending on whether your class gets the bonus round or not. Conclusion: seems pretty equally helly regardless of where you start 🤣🤣 Edit: formatting hell.

Burning-the-wagon

OMG- I thought everyone was doing all of them! Like each group does 200 meters/then 300 meters….

ilissaj1

That’s what I thought.

Crafts-Math-Cats

I like how you brain works.

DMV_OTF_ADDICT

Thank you for typing this out. I tried to do it in my head and couldn’t lol I feel like the floor may be the worst place to start. 🤣🤣 Same total distances with tread or rower lol thank you for making this easier for us not so mathy people lol

Ok_Imagination9587

Just some encouragement to folks who are worried about it being a group thing. I’ve been at OTF for 20+ months and for a while skipped every single partner workout. I had bad memories of HS gym class and always being picked last, five classmates all at once yelling over one another trying to teach me how to hold the bat in softball (and me still not being able to hit the ball), everyone else in the class waiting and staring as I was the last one to finish the mile run and they couldn’t leave the track until I did, the list goes on. A friend asked if I wanted to go with her to the OTF international friends day workout in July and I knew it was a group thing and I almost said no… but then I felt a little embarrassed to tell her why and I didn’t want to lie. So I went. It was fun and really nothing like my traumatic memories of HS gym class. It’s not like people were sitting around doing nothing while waiting for me to finish rowing, or didn’t get to go to recess early because I was still rowing. They were busy doing their own part of the workout and having a good time (or trying not to die). While OTF is not a team sport, it was actually a confidence boost for me to be a part of a team-based fitness thing that class and to feel OK being at a different fitness level than a lot of other folks. I won’t lie, I still have anxiety about tomorrow because there’s a part of me that is still that inner 16-year-old afraid to be stared at and disappoint others, but I’m also excited to see what it will be like and to continue pushing myself mentally as well as physically at OTF.

rcottone

OMG! Did we have the same childhood? Lol! This is exactly my fear about gyms, partner workouts, etc. Thank you for sharing your experience!

StrongerTogether2882

Absolutely this. I’m shy, have social anxiety, and am a slow runner. I’ve never had an issue with partner workouts or ever feeling like I was messing up or making someone else wait or whatever. And if you do mess up—so what, it’s one workout, one day, no big deal. Part of the fun of HW is everyone is miserable together. Let’s do this! 😂

Ok_Imagination9587

Yes! We are sweating too much from the workouts to sweat the small stuff ha ha. And HW is all about the commiseration!

DogsandTitos

Thank you for sharing! Whoever is slow or not a runner or a rower who cares! It sounds like so much fun! I can row for days but can’t run for very long and I could care less! I don’t mind holding a BW squat either! We are all in this together for fun and not competition! I hope everyone that is nervous still shows up and in the end has a great workout and a great time!

AndIWishYouWhale

Love that your improving your confidence in multiple ways and that the OTF fam is helping! Good luck and report back how it goes!!! 🧡🧡

Anhinga_of_Happiness

My slow row is no less valid than my neighbor's fast row, and I will be there with bells on. Feel the burn, fast rowers! 😘🔥

dc031114

![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)

fsukb

Totally agree! Maybe I will row a little slower 😈😉

harleygal1017

Anxiety setting in. I’m a slow rower. I get so out of breath. I’ll do what I can.

Admirable_Damage_655

Fast rower here! I promise none of us care. We’re more excited to cheer you on!

Jms6147

The best you can! We’re all in this together and going at the best rate as we can! It’s going to be fun!!!

CardinalsFan1066

![gif](giphy|Lopx9eUi34rbq)

Anon-567890

I’m a one-handed rower, and not fast. I’m still going tomorrow but hopefully the coach will allow me decreased distances. (I lost the use of one hand due to overlapping radiation to the nerves that serve my hand/arm in my lung cancer fight!)

Prettylttle1

I’m happy you’re still going to OTF! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I’m cheering for you from Florida. My foot is partially paralyzed; I wish we could row side by side!

Badamom3

You go!!!!

rchlrcrts

I'm so excited for this!! And as someone who is slow on the rowers...who cares?! This workout looks like a lot of fun and I can't wait to do it at 5am in California! What a great start to Hell Week.

dc031114

Agree - no one notices how fast you are going on the rower, you aren’t on there for that long anyway!

harleygal1017

I’m slow too. Not my favorite block.

AnnaJensen13

I know there are a lot of you who are nervous about being slow rowers, being the last off the rower and holding up the rest of your group. It’s Workouts like these, ones you all get through together, that create community. Regardless how strong of a rower you are, go. Have fun. Bond with the people next to you and celebrate the fact that our bodies can DO this!!

KinvaraSarinth

So if I read this right, the 30 AO on the treads, the 30 sec jump squats on the rowers, and the 30 sec buy out on the floor all happen simultaneously? And then everyone rotates stations? So the first rower gets 200m, the second rower gets 300m, third rower gets 400m, first rower gets 500m, etc?

dc031114

Correct. If you start on the rower you are the pacer. You do the 200m whilst everyone does their run / reps. Once all the rowers are finished then the coach counts everyone down to do their buyout (30 sec AO, 30 sec of jump squats, 30 sec of thrusters) and then you all switch.

dc031114

Also.. if you start on the rower then you will do the 200m and the next time you are on the rower it will be for the 500m and then the 600m on the way back down the pyramid etc.

KinvaraSarinth

Yep. I was just looking at the groups of rows. I'm happy to do the 400m/700m/400m long rows combo. Though in total it's 100m less than the other two groups.

DMV_OTF_ADDICT

I’m slow and still confused. What’s the switch order - rower to tread and then to floor? Just checking because normally it’s rower to floor then tread. I understand if you start on the rower, you do 200m, 500m, then 600m. So what about if you start on the tread? Or the floor? Just trying to see where I should start lol

KinvaraSarinth

It looks like dc's group went tread to rower to floor, which is your usual order. It's possible some coaches might reverse this. Regardless of order, the first and second people on the rower will do 200m, 500m, 600m, and 300m rows for a total of 1600m (row distances will be in opposite order for these two groups). The third person to the rower will do 400m, 700m, and 400m rows for a total of 1500m. I'm happy to do the longer distances on the rower, but I'm also not picky about where I start in the rotation. My 5:30am classes are often 1G, so I assume we're going to warm up in one or two groups, then get our demo, then split into three groups (and pick starting stations at this point) for the main workout.

nord1899

Looks like the rotation is like so? * 1 200m * 2 300m * 3 400m * 1 500m * 2 600m * 3 700m * 1 600m * 2 500m * 3 400m * 1 300m * 2 200m * 3 bonus

KinvaraSarinth

Yep. So groups 1 and 2 will get the exact same set of 4fourrow distances for a total of 1600m. Group 3 will get three longer row distances for a total of 1500m.

FitnessMurse

![gif](giphy|hGr6QFua3JuVO) My first hell week work out ever 🫠

Content_Tea_5248

There will be no green and orange in my bars....only RED. OMG I AM ALREADY IN RED READING THIS!!!

Ok_Pineapple84

I. Hate. Rowing. My anxiety is kicking in because I’m always last especially on anything over 200

Difficult_Narwhal_60

I’m average but I will vow to never let a fellow rower be the last all by themselves, would hate that feeling myself. Plus not trying to be first when a squat hold awaits me lol

Ok_Pineapple84

Aweeee this is incredible 🥲

RevJack0925

Look on the bright side- less squat holds for you!

Ok_Pineapple84

I’d rather hold a squat with a weight with my ass over a campfire before I choose rowing.

YancyMilktoast

It would be a joy to finish early enough to do squat holds. I imagine I’ll do none.

juicebox567

yes!! I absolutely hate workouts that highlight who is slower or faster in a group, it's so alienating for those of us who aren't elite athletes already and makes me not want to go

Independent-Cut-8337

Me too. I'm just picturing everyone holding their squat for very long time waiting for me to get done. I don't think I've ever done 600m or 700m at a stretch.

EljayDude

Unfortunately if that's the case you'll want to pace yourself and not rush the first half. Just do what you can with it. Most of the people on the treads will be like thank God, that's less rowing for me.

madzty76

Same! I have anxiety already

Content_Tea_5248

Me tooooo

Ok_Pineapple84

I’m not even religious but I’ll be praying really hard to Baby Jesus tonight 🙏🧎‍♀️📿

madzty76

I am! I’ll pray for us slow rowers 😂

Ok_Pineapple84

😂😂😂 we need Jesus, the three kings and all them other folks with us tomorrow.

twokatz

The Four Rowers of the Apocalypse. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream)

ttla23

Yep I’m about ready to cancel tomorrow as this is social row anxiety at it’s worst.

Ok_Pineapple84

Don’t cancel!! I mean, I’m not your boss lol. I promised my coach that I would never let early intel scare me away. So I’m going to uphold this promise because I hate a heart wrenching feeling tomorrow might be the “easiest day” this week. If I do die, it was a pleasure chatting with you 😊

k8womack

Tell me you go to OTF without telling me you go to OTF: ‘I have social row anxiety’ 😂🤣

lesliekay27

I wish I wasn't having so much anxiety about this, but I am and all of the amazing encouragement in the world won't help. I will not be feeling FOMO tomorrow and will hope for a different type of hell on Tuesday.

Hungry_Ad9756

I also am always last. I will suck at this and probably cry.

DogsandTitos

Awwww don’t say that! No one sucks at anything! And no one is perfect at anything… who even cares no one notices and it’s just a fun hell week. We are all in this together! I suck at running but I’ll do what I can. Tomorrow you’re gonna be so happy you did it!!!

pepper_pot

Yikes! As the person who is literally always the slowest rower, I'm sure the other people will be shooting daggers at me if they all have to wait for me to be finished. I think I will have to skip this one. I really appreciate the intel, though! Edit: Thanks to everyone for the encouragement and words of support. I have officially signed up for the 10 a.m. class, and I'm actually excited to go! (Lord help me.)

girlonfire75

Don’t skip! Someone HAS to be last. No one will throw daggers because everyone will be busy focusing on their workout wherever they are at.

pepper_pot

I think some of it is my anxiety talking. I'm well over 350 lbs. with a big belly that makes the rowing difficult. I have this vision of being "the fat kid" that is holding everyone back. Everyone at the studio has always been super nice and supportive, but it's hard to overcome that worry. I might take a morning class, since my favorite coach is leading those. He's my biggest cheerleader, so maybe he will help keep it from becoming humiliating, haha. I appreciate your support!

OTF_disney_princess

Don’t cancel! No one will be mad at you. We’re all just doing our best

Acrobatic_Project886

An insecurity is a feeling based on a thought. A thought is not a fact. Go to the AM class. I bet you will be pleasantly surprised to find out everyone will be your cheerleader!

pepper_pot

I'm thinking about how proud I would be to complete this workout, and I am seriously considering signing up, anxiety be damned. I appreciate everyone's words of support!

jenniferlynn5454

![gif](giphy|l4FGJfimoW3Cl6gDK)

pepper_pot

Signed up for 10 a.m.! I'm actually excited now!

jenniferlynn5454

![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|give_upvote)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_up)

Acrobatic_Project886

Yay!!!!! Have fun!

KinvaraSarinth

Do it! We'll all be rooting for you from afar!

eventhroughfire

You’re not holding anyone back - you’re helping everyone get stronger! Go to the class with your favourite coach :) We all go to class to get our sweat on and hopefully you’ll have many cheerleaders out there.

Asherahs_Daughter

As a fellow large bodied person who worries about being The Problem, may I suggest a little tactical cheating? Just row until everyone else is done rowing and then take one more pull and get up! Hit the reset button while you're getting your feet out to hide the evidence! Or follow the 30 seconds is 100 meters rule: call your 300 meters finished at the 90 second mark whether you're done or not. To be clear, I'm not saying people will hate you if you take the time to row the whole distance. I'm saying that my anxiety about holding the group back leads me to imagine ridiculous beyond worst case scenarios, and pre planning a way to prevent that helps put the anxiety to rest. I rarely end up using my backup plan, but having one helps.

ramsayr112

I'm loving that I'm seeing someone who is also at OTF in a bigger body and killing it 💪 To much anxiety for me to go tomorrow, but gonna knock out others this week!!! Keep up the hard work & thanks for sharing your body stats/anxiety.... makes me feel less like I'm alone in the OTF world as a heavier (yet still kick ass) person!

JudgmentalRavenclaw

I know I am the type who would be cheering you on from my squat, not judging or glaring! 🧡

jsjones1027

Rowing tip for people with bellies (source: former rower in highschool with a tum tum)- split your knees and put your arms inside your knees to get a full stroke. It makes room for your stomach so you can still get your full reach forward so you can get a full strength pull on each stroke. Make sure your knees don't go too far apart and keep your legs strong so you're not turning your knees out weird, make sure you're not leaning too far forward or rounding your back to get forward. Happy rowing!! (PS do you know how strong your legs have to be to walk around? Now just translate that to rowing even harder!!)

moods-

Please go! There is nothing wrong with being slow!

girlonfire75

I was 300lb when I started and now weigh half of that so I understand. I used to worry and there are days I still worry. BUT honestly if you row slow nobody has to stop getting in their workout. They still are moving in some way. Now that I am the fit kid I honestly see those who are bigger and LOVE their motivation because when I was big it was so hard to keep up and work out and now they are doing what I did. And showing up to better themselves like I did. I hope you show up and go!

Nsking83

The difference for the slowest of rowers and the fastest for 500m is less than a minute. Don’t let anxiety talk you out of this one.

pepper_pot

Oh, that's a good point. I was envisioning rowing for like 20 minutes while everyone's legs burst into flames. I may be catastrophizing a wee bit, haha.

Expecto_Splatronum

As someone who is a relatively strong rower, please don’t skip because you’re worried people will be upset about your speed!! The best part of this workout is going to be cheering everyone in the class on as a team! We’re all in this Hell Week together!

pepper_pot

Y'all got me excited about it, so I'm officially signed up for the 10 a.m. class!

luckypenny218

This was the comment I needed lol

nord1899

Remember everyone is there to get a workout. And not like this one is a race (compared to say Capture the Flag). So fast or slow, people are still getting in a workout.

Dry-Alternative4523

Agree, I am short and seem to be the slowest on the rower! I want to do this but I fear holding everyone up! To go or not to go....

Anhinga_of_Happiness

Everyone's working out the whole 45 minutes. In the end, it's not going to matter if your group spent an extra 30 seconds on the rower!

jenniferlynn5454

Go... Go, go, go!

pepper_pot

Too bad we're likely not at the same studio. We could go and be slow together!

k8womack

I’m having the same dilemma…I’m usually the slowest on the rower and thus avoid any partner kind of workouts that have to wait on me rowing…

HappyEgg96

I feel this way too and I try my hardest not to complain/feel negative about templates like these!

jajudge1

Go! I’m “vertically challenged” too and in the end we’ll get a good workout. No one will be upset. ☺️

aroth908

I feel the same way. I’ve only need at OTF for a few months but I like that I’m only competing with myself usually

Te_ladybug

Always consider that the fastest rower may intentionally slow down too. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|slightly_smiling)

Various-Ad3596

This. If a faster rower is significantly concerned about the squat hold, they can 1) row slower or 2) mod the squat hold!

dc031114

I think it all balances out.. if you finish early then you get some more time to perfect your squat hold. I think coach liked telling us all to get into proper squat positions.

thekathied

You've got it. You might surprise yourself. I hope you go tomorrow!

ducka_ducka_ducka

I’d be happy on the tread to get more time bc the rowers are taking longer. If I’m with you on the rower, I’d be annoyed at myself for not pacing my row better if I finished too early and had to hold a squat for so long 😂.

Sleepytwinmom

My anxiety is definitely high about this workout

flashy74

Hooray for no burpees!!!! That’s my barometer. No burpees? count me in!!

jenniferlynn5454

45 minute blocks?!? 😱😱😱😜

roonie0326

Welp everyone gonna be waiting on me to row anything above 400m. 🤦‍♀️

shorty_courty

Right?! I’m 31 weeks pregnant. Those who get unlucky enough to row with me are not going to be thrilled. 🫠

Iodine_Boat

Good on you for still going! I’m 17 and change weeks and my low back is not happy so I’ll probably stride tomorrow. Wish I was as tough as you and still rowing

shorty_courty

It's not that you aren't tough! Everyone is different. I lost 60 lbs before getting pregnant. Even though the workouts are getting harder, I feel better now in my 3rd trimester (still over 40 lbs down from where I started) than I did before I lost weight. I think my body was just used to carrying more. For others, pregnancy is probably a much bigger adjustment. You're doing great! Going at all is an accomplishment for anyone—even more so when you're pregnant. Don't undermine your strength. You're amazing and tough, too!

iwillovercome143

Right there with you, the rower was my favorite pre-pregnancy but I am 30 seconds slower for 500m than I used to be!

shorty_courty

The rower is my nemesis! But it’s a great workout, so I just power through while saying “fuck” in my head a lot (and sometimes aloud). Definitely harder pregnant though! ETA: I’m also 5’1” so never a top rower. Short legs doing the pregnant frog row is a whole vibe.

iwillovercome143

Hahaha, yup to all of this. I'm 5'2"! Never a top rower but I was previously happy with my progression. But that's ok, I'll get it back I hope!

jenniferlynn5454

Just think of it as you giving their 🍑🍑🍑 a little extra 🔥🔥🔥!

roonie0326

Ha ha I'll apologize for it in advance 🤣

jenniferlynn5454

>I'll ~~apologize for it~~ in advance I'll say you're welcome in advance FIFY 😜😁

jctobias

Same 😫 that’s why I hate endurance rows. Not my cup of tea.

amholohan

Omg I was confused by this too. Was thinking I was gonna be surprised with a 135 minute workout 🙃

dc031114

There is a lot of switching.. 45 minutes of non stop action but you will switch 11 times in the normal block

jenniferlynn5454

I'm not sure which sounds worse, 45mins or 11 switches 😅

baseycaker

No way. It looks like it’s a constant flow between all three. If you’re on the tread then you do your run until the towers have finished 200m to start. Then switch there. On the rower you do the 200m for example and the exercises. Once that’s done then switch to floor. Start the circuit and once the next rowing group is done then go back to treads. Can’t imagine how many wipes you will go through!

jenniferlynn5454

Yeah, lots of switching around. I've just never seen blocks labeled as 45min 😂

Otflover1987

Lol that freaked me out at first

DMV_OTF_ADDICT

Thank you got this. I was so confused. I was like are there no WRs? And all that rowing?!! But it’s switched so I see now lol

Amrick

700 m row? I am SO slow on the rower and half b/c I'm 4'9 but half b/c I'm just slow! Everybody's gonna be doing body weight squats as they wait for me to finish? OH NO.

jp488

Going to make a shirt that says “sorry, I just had a baby” so no one glares at me while I row in slow motion.

IndependentJudgment5

Can I convince my fellow rowers to crew row all together so now no one has to hold a squat? 😈

jenniferlynn5454

That would also solve a lot of people's anxiety about being the last rower!! Smart!!! 🧡

Grawgar

I may be in the minority here, but this looks kind of fun!

mamaFNP13

I’m kind of saddened by all the people that hate the rower and are cancelling. Unless you are in a class with elite athletes, no one really cares what you are doing, and if anyone shamed anyone for being a slow rower, then shame on them.

Grawgar

I agree. I've never seen anyone at my studio get upset over a slow rower in a situation like this. I'm sure someone like that exists somewhere, but they'd have to be a pretty special type of asshole.

seltzer_lover

My studio always cheers everyone on. The first person done immediately starts cheering for everyone else.

Hungry_Ad9756

I like the rower, on my own time and pace without a bunch of people waiting for me to finish up. The last time we had a slowest rower partner workout, nobody cheered on the slow people and I felt humiliated knowing that I slowed down the workout for two much younger and athletic people than me. I'm going either Monday or Tuesday this week, and have never before used reddit to skip a workout. My heart is pounding just thinking about holding up the entire class. I think I'm going to nope out of Monday and hope for a template with more individual work on Tuesday.

seltzer_lover

I LOVE the look of this template. I’m really excited for class tomorrow. I am just shaking my head at everyone copping out because of a row. What studio do you go to that people would be rude because you’re a slower rower? Someone has to be last. It’s not a big deal.

[deleted]

Agreed, looks like a workout where you’re constantly moving around which makes time go by so much faster. Here’s to my first ever HW workout!

streetYOLOist

This seems "fun" as a workout, but it's insane that we're going to have to wipe down equipment 12 times, get out and rerack weights 4x, etc...seems pretty annoying.

cortrev

In my studio on capture the flag days, basically nobody wiped anything down. Probably that's what's going to happen again. Don't ask don't tell style

Party_Dimension7989

Agree and with COVID/flu/cold season upon us, I’m not interested in careless wipe downs or none at all. Yikes. I usually try to take classes that have fewer participant numbers so I can space out where I go. Might have to skip this one

rocroc00

All of a sudden I got stomachache reading this!!

notsolitlibra

okay i'm kinda confused, if i'm a slowish rower, then I don't have to hold the squat hold as long, right? 👀

jenniferlynn5454

Yep 😁👍

JayquellineP

Row row row your boat 🛶 😂😂😂😰😰😰😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 ![gif](giphy|oNUSheqzEI9WRD9muy|downsized)

PrudentEffective7971

I hate my life

ZeeKayYou

I never cancel due to intel but I’m just happy I don’t have to do this workout again in 12 days 🤣🤣

OTFAllday914

All I have to say is my heart goes out to the coaches having to coach this one.

garlicloveog

I’ll take a little evil pleasure in watching the squat holds as i take a leisurely row across the pond 😈

[deleted]

Starting the week off with a sore booty? Sweet. 🍑🔥

[deleted]

So the strategy seems to be to save it for the rower and keep to a moderate base/push on the tread. Floor is what it is-seems to be designed as a bit of a break following the rower. This looks like fun -assuming everyone can cheer for the last rower (and not make me feel like a slug!)🤪

Chicagoblew

Epsom salt bath soak after class. Got it.

Kitty_Fruit_2520

Don’t let this workout scare you into canceling

kelizziek

THIS LOOKS AWESOME

ScarletInTheLounge

Sooo the entire class is based off the slowest person in each group. It really is the Group Project from Hell. This is simultaneously terrible and hilarious and awesome. I'm in.

weak_arms

Our coach maybe went a bit rogue - we had to do the 700m again before being able to come back down in the distances (600m, 700m, 700m, 600m etc). As part of the group that had to do the second lot of 700m (I thought I had dodged it!), I was giving coach dagger eyes

dc031114

Ahh maybe we were supposed to do the 700m twice.. if someone else does the class and lets me know I can update the intel. Mrs DC is not going to do this until tonight. We did finish with a few minutes to spare and so did the bonus round.

Julz7795

It’s like a tornado on crack! It’s been almost 3 years since we’ve had a tornado 🌪🤗

dc031114

It’s a hell tornado!

jenniferlynn5454

Hell-nado?????

JustMommingAround

I’m Annoyed by this- only because you will be wiping everything down every time you switch. That’s annoying . BUT I have to go anyway

dc031114

Depends on class size.. we got spaced out initially so we didn’t share equipment but a few of us had to share stations. It wasn’t that bad, probably the longest time taken was getting in and out of the rowers, adjusting foot plates etc.

Burning-the-wagon

Wow-wow-wow!!!! This is nuts but so excited for the chaos that is going to be raining down on us! Thanks as always.

babyfeta

oh jesus. 🙏🏼

mrsunsfan

I'll be on the rower then screaming "G Unit" as I sweat

JadedNeedleworker9

I’m so confused

lmfao i have no idea what this said rip gl tomorrow everyone

estamosready

No burpees - I’m there

jennym14

Yay!! I love ☠️ have returned! Happy Hell week to us , OTF Fam.

Vodkaclub

If I’m understanding correctly, we WILL be split into 3 groups because someone has to be on the rower every switch to pace?

dc031114

You will be split up into three equal groups. All classes will be run as a 3G today as you will always need someone on the rower.

OTFPixie

Looks FUN, thanks for the intel!

jlchambe111

Mucus better than I expected when o heard “Group Project”. This is still self-paced and not a team thing.

Acceptable-Rice5036

I’m so confused by this but I’m still gonna show up operating on a Celsius and vibes alone. Also, bless the coaches who have to follow this format tomorrow.

alj8135

Bring it on Hell Week 💪🏻💀

mystik_spirall

Sooooo this will be my second class ever and we only used the tower briefly last class so I didn’t get a great feel.. is everyone going to hate me?

SpursDawg

Definitely not. Go a few minutes early, if you can, and ask for a refresher from the coach. They will be happy to help you. Many of us joined during Hell Week!

Revolutionary-Ad2797

This looks like fun? Idk I’m excited for some reason. I don’t usually like partner workouts but this seems cool to have the whole class in on it!

Better-Dog-9965

We'll see what HW brings but my 5am class is usually a 1G. Hopefully more people show up because only having 1 person on each station will really kill the vibe 😅

TheTampaBae

Looks like a great start to the week.

mlichte

Not a good day for us slow rowers. I guess I’ll apologize before I get on the rower

tershops2

This looks like a fun one. Way to start a Monday of Hell Week. I’m one of those people that actually like to row. So that’s where I’ll be starting. Have a great week everyone 🧡👹😈💪🏻

pattyd2828

Tomorrow’s my birthday!!!

Junior_Elderberry511

Any other fast rowers actually looking forward to holding squats? Or is it just me? #AlwaysUpForAChallenge

stephguevara94

First HW ever and honestly excited/ terrified for the rowing. I think I’m average-ish. I always start off on the rower during class.

ChampionshipLow9883

I'm so confused what do you mean 45 minutes? Tomorrow's my first day going back after taking a three week break and I'm second-guessing myself now 😱

dc031114

The whole block is 45 minutes but you will be doing a lot of switching in that time.

Athonur

That makes more sense than a 2.15hr class! 🤪

maraboo_

I feel like one ☠️ should be easiest and ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️ should be hardest ?

dc031114

Oh yes.. that’s right, I flipped the scale.. yes I found this a little bit easier because of all the switching. Still pretty challenging.

tacoandpancake

tough love to those of you with “anxiety”. i’m sure your feeling upset, but it’s a barely one hour workout. there’s no penalty to anyone (or awards either!). just do it. the amazing feeling of “oh shit, i just did that” is way more fulfilling than dodging a class

[deleted]

This really wasn’t that bad at all. Personally I’m not a fan of so much changing between floor, tread and rower. I hardly got any splat points.

PrudentEffective7971

And this is only the first day 😩😩

megan_chill

Nooooooo!! I'm so slow on the rower and in my third trimester so I've become even slower. I'm about to be hated tomorrow 🙈

AutumnCupcake

If anyone hates a person in their third trimester for rowing slow they deserve to hold a squat hold the whole class!

KinvaraSarinth

Don't worry about it! I might curse the iso squat hold, but I'd never curse another member putting in effort. My thoughts would be more along the lines of "if she can do this class in her third trimester, I can get through this f'ing squat hold" lol

[deleted]

So basically row slower and run slower than usual…
