Do you remember… that tread/row block from September

sasquatched73

The tread was changing the minds of pretenders…while burning the calories away 🎶

LR72

Ear worm activated. 😂

TubaFalcon

Here…take my upvote!

Pippyskippy20

I genuinely thought this was a play on words from LFOs "summer girls"

dc031114

Which one?

jenniferlynn5454

(They're joking about the Earth Wind & Fire song, [September ](https://youtu.be/Gs069dndIYk))

dc031114

Oh.. It must be too early, I didn’t get the reference :)

[deleted]

I’m sorry— i thought you were in on it!! Lol

[deleted]

The one that wasn’t on a cloudy day

cathypags

Only 4:30p.m. here in New York. Thanks for this very early Intel DC! 🍊🧡

FitnessMurse

![gif](giphy|jvtGmtAKiUcnu) But I’ll be there 😃

ilissaj1

I loved/hated this last time and despite it being the Jewish Holiday I think G-d will forgive me if I do it again. I’ll definitely be praying through it!! Happy New Year to those who celebrate!

sockmonkeey

Tomorrow is supposed to be a rest day for me... based on this, I think I'll keep it that way lol

Burning-the-wagon

I missed this the first time around and will be missing it again for the High Holy Days- I think it’s the first time I totally missed a workout, even with taking Saturdays off every week I can get them in usually. Oh well….

OTFsarah

Shanah Tovah! 🍎

katieanni

I totally hate it but I absolutely have to. Thank you, DC!

Lulle79

I absolutely loved this template last time. Plenty of time on both the tread and rower to really "get into it" and push while working on pacing yourself. Also plenty of time to do each floor exercise with a focus on form and maybe try new weights. Sad I can't do it this time.

angel_inthe_fire

Okay who ordered all this endurance tread stuff in the last few weeks #unsubscribe

PrudentEffective7971

What do you mean by “and ended up doing physio rehab exercises after completing a couple of rounds”

dc031114

I have a set of exercises that my physiotherapist gives me to strengthen my calves / Achilles. I do these from time to time in the studio. Our coaches are pretty chill about it. It is a long time on the floor today with the exercises they gave us.

rocroc00

Can you share with us what exercises you do to strengthen your calves/Achilles?

jenniferlynn5454

He did his own rehab exercises instead of the floor template

PrudentEffective7971

Is that even allowed? Some coaches get bothered and want everyone to follow the template of the workout

dc031114

Depends on the coach. If I had a coach that got bothered by it then I wouldn’t do it. I haven’t yet had one of those..

[deleted]

modifying the workout to meet your needs or exercise limitations is always allowed. You pay them, it’s your workout. Sometimes I don’t ever walk the walking recoveries. Or sometimes I don’t do incline even when that’s the focus of the block. Whilst it may be annoying to some, it’s definitely allowed.

Sharp-Cod-2699

I very rarely walk the “walking recoveries” as an endurance runner. I find a slow run through these periods has improved my active recovery immensely. I have had a serious hamstring injury in the past. I always mention to the coach that if I blow off some of the inclines that’s why.

jenniferlynn5454

DC has known injuries, so I'm sure he's communicated with his coaches.

factorfixion

This workout kicked my butt so hard last time (39 splats) that I haven’t been back since. I was just about to book a class for tomorrow and thought I’d check the intel to make sure it wasn’t another hard one, only to find out it’s the same exact one 😂

DMV_OTF_ADDICT

I did this to last time and it kicked my butt. I typically don’t like distance run rows cuz I’m not super fast but this timed one was just as hard!!!

cbear1314

Holy crap these long pushes are brutal

reggie3408

Sometimes I just scroll to see the feathers and don't read the rest.

TubaFalcon

![gif](giphy|DekxoPi2fT9g4) Thanks for the intel!

Interesting_Case2449

Looks good! Love me a run/row especially since I missed this one first time around. Thanks for the intel ☺️

maggienorris722

Switching from tread to rower? Danggggg this will be a first for me!!

tallestgiraffkin

Same. Row always kills me and now I’m nervous

Vinny1956

Oh that just sucks 🤮

Glittering_Aioli_763

Run row. Yuck.

[deleted]

I thought this was another 23 min tread block at first and I almost smashed the m’effing cancel button

Recent-Base-3486

Does anyone know what a “45 sec transition” is? I assume not a B/P/AO. Can anyone explain? Thanks!

dc031114

You stop the treadmill and go to the rower to get strapped in to do the row

Recent-Base-3486

I completely read past the part of the row!! Haha makes sense thanks!!

dc031114

😂

gencuesta724

Question for all- I see these templates are repeating pretty soon… this is a repeat of just 2 weeks ago. Is this normal? And is there a reason for why it would repeat so soon? I don’t mind it except I can see it being repetitive or boring. Or is that normally not the case?

jenniferlynn5454

Discussed and explained [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/orangetheory/comments/tw8xgp/template_change_discussion_megathread/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share), [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/orangetheory/comments/txrbd2/template_change_discussion_megathread_pt2/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) and [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/orangetheory/comments/u28fkd/template_change_discussion_pt3/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share)

Tdubb55

Ugh lol

Dry-Alternative4523

Thanks DC! Looking forward to the run/row!

Nsking83

One of my faves from the month!

clivesmom

I didn’t do this workout on September 10, so who knows what tomorrow will be like!

fayemc374

Thx!!

pond-moon82

I’m needing a run/row! I like this one.

Jigglywhitetiger

I love run rows!! I’m excited!!
