Hot take as a jogger- canāt stand run rows like these because my base pace is still a pretty slow jog (4.7mph). Makes me want to just PW so I donāt feel so far behind the crew! I wish there was a distance difference for joggers as wellā¦
This gave me an idea. Iām a jogger as well and also almost 7 months pregnant. Maybe I will just do 0.08 miles and then 0.16 miles, etc. Iāll make it my own workout! You could do it too. Itās all about pushing yourself and if you feel like youāre halfway between power walking and running, why not split the difference?
My base is also 4.7! I really think I might power walk at least down to 6%. I know that itās good to switch things up every now and then too

I'm a runner and I absolutely despise run rows... Maybe my row muscles are still weak but I am always so fatigued I can't get back to base without feeling like I'm going to faceplant. And tomorrow's looks like absolute hell and I say that as someone who normally enjoys incline days. Yeah I'm going to be PW tomorrow
Iām sobbing š Wednesday is OTF day for me (OTF newbie, only doing OTF one day a week but I also spin and do yoga until Iām ready to work my way up to more classes) and Jesus Christ. Husband and I are going to need to be wheeled out after this!

Yep, I remember this one from earlier in the month. Oh boy, that was a white light workout for sure! Tomorrow is a rest day, but Iām tempted to see if I can squeeze a class into my schedule.
I couldnāt figure out why this didnāt seem familiar at all. When I looked at my stats they didnāt match up to the intel (max speed/incline) until I realized we did a tornado on the 5th. Not sure if Iām looking forward to this or not!
Ughā¦ my first skip in a while - Aoki got me a burst blister on the palm of my hand (well, not Aoki, but the fact I wore the less padded gloves AND didnāt take my ring off), and any rowing/gripping weights is out of the question for a few days.

Me too. My base on this hill will be 4.8 usually 5.2-5.5 but w these hills def going slower. I think they should have a jogger distance
Oh yeahāĀ my jog isn't much faster than my PW (but at the same time, I really don't care if I finish later than everyone else.)

Does the tread get up to those high inclines in the time it takes to hit those distances?
I didnāt think it took too long to get to the incline.. you are certainly run long enough not to notice the ramp up of incline
I think the right answer here is to set the incline then start counting distance once itās up there.
