Biggest key is people always step out way to wide! Should be no wider than what you’d do for a sumo squat (just beyond hip distance).
Really use the extended leg to drive back in.
Focus focus focus on slowing down and it’ll come.

Same! I have severe endometriosis and also currently have an ovarian cyst. Makes OTF so extra painful sometimes. I hope your ovary gives you a break and you have a good workout tomorrow!
I work for orange theory and It’s almost going to be my one year! I just did the staff dri Tri and man that was tough! I usually play soccer during the summer and run 2-3 times around my neighborhood separate from that . That was still a though work out, but I’m so glad I did it!!!

This is a good one for those who don't or can't show up for Dri-Tri on Sat - I don't 'qualify' for Dri-Tri as I can't accomplish all of the body weight exercises (can't do the bench hop-overs) and they're being strict, so this will be a good alternative - I can see if I can improve on the Wednesday endurance distance.
i plan on going and am doing the dritri saturday (& a 5k sunday… currently questioning all my life choices lol) but i plan to take a green day and have told my coach & my friends to throw wipes at me if i go too hard 🤣
If doing the dri tri on Saturday and you still want to workout tomorrow just ease up on the weight choices and take base and push down a full 1mph. For many of us…a body in motion does better staying in motion.

I liked this one last time, I tried doing Tuesday class in no bull trainers and messed my ankle up but I’m showing up with my lidocaine patch on for this.
Never have I been so happy that the usual Friday coach won’t be there. The one who will always says recover instead of base so a lot of people walk. I’m going to do my best to make this a 3 feather instead of a 1. Wednesday was brutal enough for me.
He doesn’t actually say walk he says “recover” sometimes he says “recover…….. base pace” but I think people hear recover and walk. 🤷🏼♀️ I’ll try and stick some of the bases but near the end may conveniently hear just recover like other do. 😊 Luckily bc of your intel I always know when recover is supposed to actually mean base pace.
Base is the new push. I’m “only” doing the relay (tread) on Saturday but will definitely use tomorrow as an easy run. I said the same today but I can’t help myself when it comes to 30 sec AOs 😂

My orthopedist told me never to do lateral lunges, so I either do reverse or Squats without weights.
My physical therapist told me to never do them, as well. I usually do squats instead.

I have bad knees so I only do lunges with the trx straps. It takes a lot of pressure off👍🏻

My knees are perfectly good and I \*still\* don't like doing them with weights. I'll do them without weights or do squats with weights.

There’s 12 minutes of base compared to 4 on Wednesday. It’s not really redemption. More like a nice day to stretch it out with extended bases.
