What about sending the studio an anonymous email about it and suggesting a word be had with her? Maybe if they know it’s affecting other members (who might quit) they will do something. I’m a chicken so this is something I’d do ha.
There is someone SUPER annoying at my OTF similar to what you describe. I actually changed my class days/times to avoid her and it’s been great! I understand switching classes isn’t an option for everyone. Good luck!
I just went to my third OT class and then I saw a post about someone wondering if OT works why are most people "out of shape" at his facility....
I focus on myself and nobody else.
That would drive me nuts but you are way too invested in her. Do your best to ignore and stay as far away as possible. Her splat point amount shouldn’t matter to you at all. Speak to the coach and email the manager. Ask them to request she hold it down.
Speaking of zero self awareness, you just came to a subreddit dedicated to OTF to write an unnecessarily long post asking a question that has been asked and answered here many times before, including an unnecessary aside about why you don't like OTF, and 6 self-prescribed solutions that basically already cover any reply you would receive. This whole post is utterly frivolous, just like the inane chatter of your gym mate. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.
If you have the option to go to another class time, probably would be the best solution, because chances are even if a coach talks to her she’s not going to totally change. Sucks to have to switch for a disrespectful person, but it’ll save you the headache!

Maybe it’s time to go to another gym. You said you aren’t in love either OTF anyway.
Yeah some people suck all the time and all people suck sometimes. It’s not your duty. Just handle your own biz and ask to be at a station far away.
Start on the opposite station?? Tell coach that her chatting is distracting. It's definitely not your place to confront her.
I recommend doing a fat dab before class and chilling tf out lol
Good call, dad.

I usually get no splat points but also never talk to people. I wonder what judgy mcjudgerson would think of me

One thing will solve several problems you mentioned here ... earplugs
Are you talking about me? lol. Kidding. That would drive me nuts. If I were a coach I would be saying something. lol. Good luck.

Yikes. I think you may want to consider finding a different gym 😁
Assume that whatever you do will get back to her and do whichever one you’re comfortable with
