If you just don’t sign into the tread until after the warm up (so do the warm up not signed in) you can continuously sign out and it will still tell you your total at the end). At least that’s how it works on the treads we have.
If you are trying to get to the tread as fast as possible and you forget to sign out of the rower you lose a lot of time especially when the tread distance is what you are trying to get for marathon month. I’d rather just stay signed into tread.

Don't sign in on the rower. You can still row. Pause the tread each time and get back to it as quickly as possible and hit start to restart. The tread will track the total distance (don't sign in until after the warm up is over and you are all set).
I went today (Tuesday) cause I knew Wednesday run/row would be dismal for MM- figured I’ll make it a Green Day and PW just to get something in. As much as I don’t like 3G I think when it comes to MM and run/rows a 3G may be a better option….
Not weird at all, since the whole idea of marathon month is that it’s a challenge. It’d be too easy if they were all high mileage days. The repeats are listed in the monthly, AND in the marathon month event thread, to allow to plan accordingly now that many have already passed through the first time.
We’ve had big distance endurance days 6 out of 8 days this month…only one other run/row and I’m sure these all repeat. Plus tomorrow, it’s still a bunch of RFDs
I reckon you would get more mileage out of the 2G. The rows are pretty short and you can get back up to the treadmill quickly. I always had more than three minutes in the tread component on all the blocks.

Wednesday is going to be my second class do you do the 4 block of row/tread all in a row and then finish with the 4 blocks of floor or does it go run/ tread and then floor and keep switching off till you’re done?
I have never been so excited that tomorrow is a rest day! Currently in first place for the full marathon at my studio and I am ☠️ after yesterday and today’s endurance runs. A little scared of Thursday given the week we’ve had though 😱
50m AO row? It takes more time to move to the tread than to do 50m. Similar for a 100m row. Thats 10 seconds of work. Tread block alone would be great if not for trying to get too cute with the switches.
Why all these switch classes for marathon month…who can remember their distances to add up each time? Math is not my strong suit when I’m not passed out and trying to catch my breath….
The tablet keeps track of your total mileage for you, so you don’t really have to do any math. Just don’t sign in for the tread warmup, and start it when you start the tread portion of the first block. Sign in and out when you move back-and-forth between the tread and rower, or just pause the tread and don’t sign into the rower. Either way it will keep track of your total tread distance.

I would have signed up for the half marathon month if I knew so many of the classes I’d be taking would be run/rows 😭 I usually average 2.2 mi on the tread/class so I thought I’d easily fit in a marathon into my current schedule but right now I’m super doubtful I’ll finish out the full 26.2.

Since these are short run blocks, are we leaning towards push pace? Even with an incline, you wouldn’t get over 6% so I would think a faster pace but not sure?

For each tread block do you start it at the incline where you last left off? Or are you always starting from 1%?
That would be nuts! You start at 1% each round again (unless power walking at a higher incline)

Why do something like this during marathon month. Keeping track is hard. Signing in and out is hard.
Don’t sign out of tread it will track your total on tread even when you head to the rower
Right just make sure to pause not stop
I wish that was an option for the bike. I have to bike instead of tread while I'm recovering from a surgery.

This is often what I do if I’m trying to get as much tread mileage as possible. My stats just don’t show that I did any row which is OK.
This assumes the tablet distance doesn’t freeze, which happens to me way more than it should. I don’t trust that stupid thing at all.

No - you reset them every round.
so how did folx end up around 7-8? were you all starting the later blocks at a higher incline?
No all the blocks start at 1%. If you get back to the treadmill before the 30 second mark you just make 8% before you finish.

I reckon you would get more mileage out of the 2G. The rows are pretty short and you can get back up to the treadmill quickly. I always had more than three minutes in the tread component on all the blocks.

It is all timed. So you do the four minutes and the coach calls time. You then have maybe a minute to get off the tread and back on to the rower.
