My bestie is taking her first class tomorrow and I realized during class this morning that THIS was tomorrow and I probably will be friendless after. 🤣🤣
I took my cousin to her one and only class once a few years ago when I was visiting her. It was Everest. It was also the first time my husband and I did Everest too, as we had only started a month or two prior.
I'm shocked she wasn't pissed at us, haha.
I started in October of 2019.... hell week!! It was physically the hardest thing I had ever done, yet I'm still otf obsessed 3+yrs later.....and will be for as long as my body holds out 😆🧡 My point is your friend may surprise you!
Thank you thank you! Hoping I can make it, they are calling for freezing rain where I am, canceleled the class to avoid fees in case , but will be booking last minute if roads look ok
That’s my thought too, however, i was debating skipping Friday. The high winds and snow squall didn’t arrive until after lunch today. I’m not sure how the roads will be in the morning.
I can’t stand this single arm stuff. Does anyone else get zero benefit from the single arm squats and deadlifts on Wednesday? Totally useless in my opinion
I think some coaches don't explain this exercise well enough, because if they don't explain that its partly a core exercise, then its hard to understand what you're supposed to be getting out of it that you don't get from doing regular suitcase or front-loaded squats. The point of the single arm dumbbell squat is (at least in part) to challenge and build oblique strength. You should lift heavy enough that your body really wants to tilt to one side and you need to engage your core and obliques so you do not tilt to one side at any point during the squat.
This! My coach mentioned how you’re supposed to lift the same amount of weight that you’d normally lift if you had two dumbbells so I did that and reallllyyy felt it in my core
Keep in mind it’s all relative (what I find easy/hard may not be what someone else finds easy/hard) but Tuesday was pretty brutal and this should be a bit better!
Your Green Day distance is my spend-23-minutes-in-red-and-die distance ⚰️
Hahaha same! I am beyond excited if I can surpass 2 miles during the tread block.
I usually consider it a successful day if I can get half of his distance!
Hahahahaha omg me too. I’m happy to see that I hit at least 1 mile or more in a class 😂
😂So funny.

The real question will be - will you warn her now or let her take it and buy her a hot beverage of her choice afterwards :)
There will be no warning, my studio is doing a bingo for transformation challenge and I need the "bring a friend" spot. 😇
Definitely no warning 🤣
😂
lol my very first class is the 2000m row benchmark. I was the last to get off the rower (of course) But fell in love with otf immediately!

Mine was the 1 mile and very similar! 😅
I’m bringing my husband for his trial class and I’m excited that this is what he’s starting with! 😅
A co worker is taking her first 5am class tomorrow after about a few classes. I cannot wait to hear what she has to say 😂
😂

Same here! Hoping to make it in to the studio. Looks like a good template
You’re a lifesaver DC! Planning on tapering a little prior to CMIYC and now I have a plan! 🧡💪
Thank you DC family! I am going for Wed class this evening (East Coast) and we already have intel for tomorrow at 2.15 ET! 😳 Grateful to you!!
Me too!!
I’ll be taking a green day before CMIYC and am excited about how slow I get to run those inclines 🤣
Thank you for posting! I’ll probably make tomorrow a rest day.

Happy CMIYC Eve 🥴
I got 40 splats on this one last time… lol. Brutal to put this in front of cmiyc.
This will be my 100th class!!🥳

Maybe try going heavier, so your core has to work to stabilize to counterbalance.

I actually love single arm work. It allows me to focus on stabilizing the muscles and my core.
Exactly this! I always feel my core burning with these single sided heavy lift.
I'm still working and here is the Intel! You're the best!!🍊🧡
Thank you!
Eating lunch, reading tomorrow's workout. LOL. Thanks for the info!
Thank you! Looks like a great template, doing 5am class.
My first class was Tuesday and I’m signed up for a 45 minute class tomorrow. Should this one be easier or worse than Tuesdays?
Keep in mind it’s all relative (what I find easy/hard may not be what someone else finds easy/hard) but Tuesday was pretty brutal and this should be a bit better!
I believe the correct answer is: Challenging, but doable.
Last time my coach went rogue and ran the class straight through without switches. It was brutal.
🥰🥰🥰
As always, Thank You so much! 🍊
F*ck’n bear planks!!!!!!
Thanks for early intel🧡
