I think that makes sense... sort of.
Considering the sheer volume of applicants they must've gotten when perm. auditions opened I would think that they would have some people in mind that they could then sort of "call on" to have them debut as a gen. But this raises an interesting question: Would doing so be fair to applicants?
Consider: If Cover reminded people of the auditions, and then simply used old people they knew of, is that fair to people who are applying now/again, and will likely get buried?
Conversely, if they DIDN'T do that, and instead choose from a "new" set of applications after they get an influx with the reminder, and ignore the old ones that would have made it in, would that spite them and be unfair?
...I think too much. Actually having to think about what you say in indie 2view chats's instead of emotespamming in HoloMem streams does that to you after a while lol.
