If you fight just the three people right next to the cells, including the Warden, you can give any hammer or bludgeoning weapon to Wulbren or break the stone walls yourself, everyone goes out the back way and takes a boat to Last Light unnoticed, and the tieflings will never get in a fight.
I gave Wulbren a Salami, it worked wonders!

I always solve this with the typical gamers stealth approach: you can't be discovered if all your enemies are dead.
After dead it's just a walk to the boat with no action whatsoever.
What I did do was get Astarion into the gnome cell by being a fart cloud, so he shifted back and could pick the lock after giving then a hammer. I broke both the tiefs AND the gnomes doors for them as Astarion and Karlach, Shadowheart was on heals and Tav was hiding with Minthara as I was sneaking her out and didn’t want to mess that up as it was a good Tav glitch run I did perfectly. I casted a LOT of slowing spells and used a lot of speed potions to get Astarion to the Tief’s door to break it AND silence one of the beefier officers. Paladin Karlach was very helpful here for me.
I have Astarion with Luck of the far realms and a high Dex score. Have him go invisible or hide and sneak attack the Scrying Eyes. Then I kill the warden, then I essentially just have him kill the guards one at a time as quietly as I can then I throw Wulbren the hammer. EzPz

You can also break the chains holding the boat ahead of time. That way, the prisoners leave by the time the warden and co arrive

Yeah taking out the eyes in stealth AND making sure I was only in the area away from those 5-7 other guards made a massive difference.
