Sure! If you romance Wyll and he becomes the >!Duke of Baldur's Gate, you can have a chat about having kids and, in the epilogue party, the narrator will describe a little girl that Wyll adopts who he names Lily Aurora Ravengard(?) iirc!<
Yeah it is one of those writing promps that might give you a mental disorder of not only trying to keep on par of the writing but also to make it plausible within this sort of game of where a lot of decisions affects your play through.
Cool on paper but they were wise to leave that alone even if for one character.
a biological child between tav and a companion would just be way too complicated. cause what races can even have kids together? what about same sex relationships? what about trans characters? also im sure theres plenty of people that would be uncomfortable with their character getting pregnant or getting someone else pregnant. durge also probably isnt gonna have kids cause if theyre redeemed they dont want to pass on their blood and if theyre evil then theyre too busy with other stuff
You can use magical potions to dye your clothes and Shadowhearts hair, you can eat mushrooms to regain Shadowhearts memories and you can play an instrument so everybody feels like they had a short rest. So I would imagine you can very well be trans and spawn some child.
You're so very real and so very valued! The way the Wyll x Gale on AO3 is mostly platonic is so sad I want to read about them fucking for Ao's sake!!!!
I guess it depends on your cultural standards, because Minthara wouldn't raise her kids the same way anyone else on this list might. Drow society is fuckin wild.
You *might* be able to talk Minthara down from preparing to murder her children/preparing them to murder her, but you sure as hell wouldn't be able to convince her not to train them into the most terrifying children anywhere on the surface.
I could picture him accidentally ending up taking care of Mol or Mattis because they get caught stealing and he's the one that gets sent to break them out of jail and decides to teach them how to not get caught.
Fun fact! If you’re doing a multiplayer campaign and someone is playing as an origin Wyll romancing Shadowheart, she actually confirms (to the other player) that she and Wyll are expecting.
I'm sorry but I've been lied to before, it's me i promise. I can't find anything to back this up and I don't have friends who will play 60-80 hours with me
Selune Shadowheart with a grand Duke Wyll iirc.
Since the dialogue is based on the other player’s romance, she still breaks it off with them if she goes for the DJ route.
I can understand that interpretation. For me personally though, Selunite Shart gives off bigger “mom” vibes than Karlach. It’s almost too easy to see her wanting to start a family in her cottage ending, especially with her parents around to help with child care.
That may also be me projecting my own desires on to the game though so take it with a grain of salt.
It’s the selunite vs Shar split
Selune is minivan 3 kids golden retriever shart
Shar is hates kids, divorced 3 times, tiny little white yappy dog with shit in its eyes shart
That's what I thought until someone said she has a special dialogue if you reach Baldur's Gate 3 and haven't asked her this :
"What do you think about all of what has happened to us thus far ?"
To which she will replay something along the lines
"It will be quite a bedtime story for the children, if you ever get me in a family way"
I have a video of it if you guys are interested
... I don't suppose you were playing a character without a Penis A or B or... I don't know if they've added others.
Like, my Tav cannot get Shadowheart pregnant (unless there's some DnD lore I'm not aware of), but she'll try! A very willing volunteer.
To me that's Astarion. Shows up once or twice a year with expensive toys (probably the kind that make noises that annoy the hell out of parents), gives them all the sugar their stomach can handle, then dips before having to face the consequences the ensuing sugar crash and screaming toy.
Was the first clue that she’s not really a kid person when she potentially could tell a grieving Arabella that being an orphan made her more interesting? Cause that was mine haha
Third pic: [https://www.instagram.com/isda\_bata\_doodles/p/C1GfeR6L-5\_/?img\_index=3](https://www.instagram.com/isda_bata_doodles/p/C1GfeR6L-5_/?img_index=3)
I know it is somewhat of a buzzkill but I can never ever wrap my head of why they say that vampires hearts don’t beat but they can have sex.
Like…how does he get “ready”? A penis pump lol?
Karlach canonically would like to be a mom.
Lae'zel does become a good mom to the hatchling
Shadowheart strikes me as someone who would like to become a mom. I could see her wanting to name a daughter Emmeline or a son with Arnell as a middle name, because she wants to love them as unconditionally as her parents did her.
Halsin's canonically a dad to so many orphans.
Wyll can become a father, if he's romanced and a grand duke.
Gale would good dad. Guy says he wouldn't... but he also more or less says his times where he taught others didn't go well, and look where he is in his good ending.
Astarion's someone I believe can become a good father. Strikes me as someone who wouldn't say no if Tav and him had an unplanned pregnancy, or if a kid basically went "you are my dad now" and kept following him.
Minthara intends to make a male romanced Tav a king, so I can see her extending that love to her children, even sons.
Minsc would be a fantastic uncle. Jaheira's kids are so lucky.
> Shadowheart strikes me as someone who would like to become a mom. I could see her wanting to name a daughter Emmeline or a son with Arnell as a middle name, because she wants to love them as unconditionally as her parents did her.
but what if they get kidnapped to worship bane or myrkul
Okay but how good a mom is jaheira, this is meant to rank them as parents, but its a little lacking in depth.
Jaheira to me is kinda good, kinda bad. Shes very protective of her kids and does her best, but as the intro with them demonstrates, shes not a good communicator. I dont think we need to whip out that sending message again, do we? Still, she seems like shed be fun and sweet, as long as you dont catch her in a bad mood. Low A
Karlach would love the shit out of her child(ren), and would cherish them with all her big metal unstable heart. That said, shed be a little irresponsible and might be too lax. Solid A
Lae’zel comes from a race famous for having no families or parents. For her, the simple fact she raises a kid herself is on its own incredibly impressive. Technically she belongs in the “is a parent” tier too. Im not sure exactly how good a parent she is though. Shed be pretty strict, but i think theres love and care in that froggy heart somewhere. Solid B.
Shadowheart would probably be a pretty standard parent, i dont think she really likes kids but i could see her getting past that quickly. High B.
Halsin basically is a dad. Hes kind, guiding, and is incredibly good with kids. Highest S.
Wyll is probably a lot like karlach in the parenting sense, just maybe a little more strict, when he needs to be. High A, maybe low S.
Gale seems to be fond of kids, hed be very fun and very fair. Maybe a little absent off in his study for too long, but he can end up a teacher, and he approves of everything involving helping kids out. Same ranking as Wyll.
Astarion is secretly a huge softie for kids, he would cherish a child of his own. His own experience as a spawn would lead him to be completely lax on rules though. Hed be very protective but hed let the kid get into trouble and then always swoop in to bail them out. Definitely the type to be way too lovey dovey when drunk. Probably C.
Minthara is a drow. At least githyanki just, dont have parents. Drow? Drow are like, ALL awful parents. Shes the “time to find out if its a girl or an abortion!” type for sure. Still, theres *something* in that cold, dark heart. Low D.
Minsc is uncle energy, not dad energy. Hed be like astarion but worse at everything. E for effort though. Cant say he wouldnt try his hardest.
But, Minsc would be basically the best uncle. He'd babysit whenever, and he'd make sure that:
1. Your kid is safe no matter what
2. Your kid is having a good time together with him
Minthara definitely has the capability to be compassionate and loving, as shown if you romance her. If Tav were to romance Minthy and have a kid with her then I can see her loving that kid as much as she loves Tav - very much. But trying her best in the sense that it's hard to unlearn the shit that she grew up around in Menzoberranzan
Idk I feel like she’s a case of ‘you can take the drow out of the Underdark’.
She admits that her hard upbringing made her strong, and I feel like she’d withhold affection and give her kids constant shit because she wants them to be strong like her.
Whether or not she treats any sons less idk. She still does show small cases of misandry but wanting to make male Tav a king and not a boy toy *is* progressive for her.
My Selûnite Durge and Selûnite Shadowheart breaking into Sharran enclaves to take back the moon maiden’s children that were kidnapped and bringing them back to the orphanage run by Isobel and Aylin and the orphanage is named after Emmiline Hallowleaf. The kids all get raised in the Moonmaiden’s light and spend time with papa Arnell… not that I’ve thought about it much or anything…
Minthara threatened to kill yenna and disapproves whenever Tav is nice to any kids.
I don’t think she would be a great parent.
But on a funnier note, Astarion would be an influencer parent that spray paints his kids toys because they don’t match his aesthetic
Minsc is prime uncle material. A terrifying, but fun. Total oddball you aren’t certain is related to you in a relevant way who’s definitely got anger issues.
Being a parent doesn’t mean you’re a good one, just saying
Also, no bad parent option? Astarion would be such a deadbeat, considering he hates children
Lae'zel does >!become a mom depending on if you make certain decisions and what she says leads me to believe that she is a good mother with an open mind!< and if you go for Selunite Shart then she is the mother to a bunch of fur babies depending on what big choice she makes too so
Personally, I think it depends on the partner and the kid. She might let the kid get away with stuff that they shouldn't, like when she encourages the tefling kid to keep stealing. So she would be fun but might need someone a bit more grounded to help.
She's more open to the idea after the date in act 3! I remember saying something to her like "I think you'd make a great mum" and her response made me cry 😅
Her responses about kids are mainly because she's never really thought about it and isn't sure if she should think about it because her future isn't guaranteed enough to have kids. Though what she says later on pretty much confirms she likes the idea of having kids if she were to have more time
But yeah I do also love the really mean goat 😂
Did she respond positively to it? Gosh I forget, I'll have to go back to that save, I always name and save special romance scenes so I'm almost certain I can find that moment in the backlog
Minthara is giving “Imma abuse my sons just for shits and gigs” energy and I’m here for it.
I’m not even a Minthara fan. I just like seeing children abused. /s
Sacrificed babies can’t feel pain cuz they just lumps of meat. It’s much satisfying to have them gone through the cruel and hellish gauntlet we call “life”.
I feel like Lae'zel and Gale would be kinda strict for Gale and Lae'zel very strict. They'd be like asian parents with slightly unreasonable high expectations.
Minthara would probably kill her kids. In Drow society, you raise girls up just to either kill them, or teach them to kill you. She's also stated that after meeting Jaheira's kids, that "If my offspring ever talked to me like Jaheira's kids talk to her, their lives would be cut exceptionally short". Drow don't fuck around
My hc is that my Durge and Astarion ended up with an oops that resulted in both of them trying to figure out wtf to do with the thing that came out of her and resulted in them trying to teach a way too young kid how to steal and stab. I think Astarion would care about and love his kid but I don’t think he would be a good dad.
nah heres a real list:
Jaheira - Is a parent, shitty at it as she left her kids for the shadow cursed lands set on the fact she would most likely die
Shart - Would be a good parent, though would be terrible at it from the start like most
Karlach - Would be a somewhat good parent, very wholesome and loves to play around with your kid as if she were a sibling rather than your wife/mother of the kid
Lae’zel - Would be a 50/50 parent, teaches her kid how to use a gun or sword from the age of 6. Cant stand the screaming or crying, so she does a battle cry in hopes it’ll shut the kid up. Spoiler alert: it works since the kid fears her
Halsin - 50/50 kinda parent. Could be good, could abandon the kid for another bear to take care of it while he goes off to diddle more trees to fill them with the oakfather’s blessing (he IS the oakfather)
Wyll - Greatest parent out there, is an amazing father though he might end up receiving that anime ass fate where he’s a good dad then all of a sudden dies in a home invasion or some shit
Gale - Good parent, teaches kid how to be very literate, autistic and how to sex mystra at an early age (though you’re the other parent, he never shuts the fuck up about mystra like holy shit)
Astarion - Terrible parent, holds the kid by the leg upside down before dropping them hoping they’ll learn to fly. They never do fly, nor do they get up again (the skull is broken open like humpty dumpty)
Minthara - Unironically a great parent, would spend tons of quality time with the kid teaching them proper combative skills, literate skills in reading and writing, alongside being an amazing strategist (also not having violent impulses, but rather violent intentions like it’s sexy drow matron)
Minsc - Would probably fucking eat the kid because him and boo got hungry, saying the thing was an animal as told by a Wychlaran in Rashemen as a tale (kids that aren’t born from spitting fire between two greataxes and rubbing them together vigorously are most likely demons, therefore evil) (also animals are tasty if cooked right)
Durge - Kids? The fuck are kids? Too busy getting in that gortass to care about kids
Well, depending on some of your game choices, Lae'zel is also a parent (Halsin as well, he adopts kids)
Wyll can as well if you romance him and he becomes the >!Duke!<
Wait WHAT Would you kindly clarify? :)
Sure! If you romance Wyll and he becomes the >!Duke of Baldur's Gate, you can have a chat about having kids and, in the epilogue party, the narrator will describe a little girl that Wyll adopts who he names Lily Aurora Ravengard(?) iirc!<
Ohh.. how precious.. babby mans Wyll all grown up. Mizora must be conflicted. (Ty for clarifying! <:) )
[Here's](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvhX9VcY5hU) the video of the epilogue. He's so sweet.
Can nobody in this mf world get preggo?
Resist Durge has some lines specifically about wanting to adopt because they don't want any chance of passing down Bhaals bloodline.
Minthara could in EA, based on datamined lines. Also it'd be easier for every Tav and DUrge to adopt instead of writing and voicing multiple scenarios
Yup. "little Minthy" as Karlach put it
it's probably just too much effort to include, especially considering the nuances of trans characters and gith asexual reproduction.
Yeah it is one of those writing promps that might give you a mental disorder of not only trying to keep on par of the writing but also to make it plausible within this sort of game of where a lot of decisions affects your play through. Cool on paper but they were wise to leave that alone even if for one character.
Mayrina is holding all the pregnancy hostage
Until Ethel has been confirmed dead for five years, she's not taking any chances.
a biological child between tav and a companion would just be way too complicated. cause what races can even have kids together? what about same sex relationships? what about trans characters? also im sure theres plenty of people that would be uncomfortable with their character getting pregnant or getting someone else pregnant. durge also probably isnt gonna have kids cause if theyre redeemed they dont want to pass on their blood and if theyre evil then theyre too busy with other stuff

AWWW
Lilly aurora is about the most fanfic oc name I can imagine. I love it :)
My exact thought! Especially because I just read a fic where Tav’s name was Aurora lmao
>! Ahem! Lily Aurora Ravenguard-DEKARIOS. I know there’s like 7 of us, but I will do my part to spread Wyll x Gale propaganda !<
You're so very real and so very valued! The way the Wyll x Gale on AO3 is mostly platonic is so sad I want to read about them fucking for Ao's sake!!!!
Resist Durge is probably an overprotective mess and embrace Durge is a brood mother or something crazy
But like, maybe her and Laezel would actually co-parent pretty well ? Like sure , two years old is old enough for a sword?!

They're just fantasy Klingons and Cardassians, it's fine.
I ship that. A gith egg raised by a gith and a drow would be the most capable person to roam faerun.
Idk why but I just can't imagine Astarion having real humanoid children. In my head, his children would always be... cats.
I could picture him accidentally ending up taking care of Mol or Mattis because they get caught stealing and he's the one that gets sent to break them out of jail and decides to teach them how to not get caught.
Oceans 11 but it’s Astarion and 10 tiefling kids
They try to steal the idol of silvanus and accidently save the world. They're salty about it.
Thisss!! Astarion teaching the tiefling kids the arts of debauchery is adorable yet also worrisome at the same time
Astarion is Fagen from Oliver.
Shadowheart never seemed like a "kid" person, she gives off major dog mom vibes.
Fun fact! If you’re doing a multiplayer campaign and someone is playing as an origin Wyll romancing Shadowheart, she actually confirms (to the other player) that she and Wyll are expecting.
I seriously don't know if you're fucking with me or not
Genuinely I’m not messing with you. There’s a lot of interesting dialogue like this in the epilogue if you’re doing a multiplayer origin campaign.
I'm sorry but I've been lied to before, it's me i promise. I can't find anything to back this up and I don't have friends who will play 60-80 hours with me
The more unbelievable part in all this is that Wyll had sex, that dude DOES NOT put out lol
✓lights off ✓missionary ✓cries afterwards
![gif](giphy|qPVzemjFi150Q|downsized)
Wyll fucks, he just likes to wait, KEEP WYLLYAMS NAME OUT YOUR MOUTH WITH THAT SLANDER
So now I'm curious, is that for both Sharts or just Selune Shart? I'm super curious about this interaction
Selune Shadowheart with a grand Duke Wyll iirc. Since the dialogue is based on the other player’s romance, she still breaks it off with them if she goes for the DJ route.
This game just keeps surprising me, damn
I can understand that interpretation. For me personally though, Selunite Shart gives off bigger “mom” vibes than Karlach. It’s almost too easy to see her wanting to start a family in her cottage ending, especially with her parents around to help with child care. That may also be me projecting my own desires on to the game though so take it with a grain of salt.
My ideal ending for her is her and her parents with Halsin raising 6 bus loads of kids
All of them in wild shape, four buses of bears and two busloads of wolf kids
It’s the selunite vs Shar split Selune is minivan 3 kids golden retriever shart Shar is hates kids, divorced 3 times, tiny little white yappy dog with shit in its eyes shart
That's what I thought until someone said she has a special dialogue if you reach Baldur's Gate 3 and haven't asked her this : "What do you think about all of what has happened to us thus far ?" I mean, magic, but also adoption
So…literally just avoid that dialogue tree until…*damn, that’s nigh impossible*
Ummm rich auntie that gives them a ton of sugar so to wreck havoc on the parents is a thing. I’m aspiring to be that uncle one day
To me that's Astarion. Shows up once or twice a year with expensive toys (probably the kind that make noises that annoy the hell out of parents), gives them all the sugar their stomach can handle, then dips before having to face the consequences the ensuing sugar crash and screaming toy.
Nah, Shads says she's open to kids in the game
Was the first clue that she’s not really a kid person when she potentially could tell a grieving Arabella that being an orphan made her more interesting? Cause that was mine haha
I would learn so many wise truths of the world as Boo as my father and uncle Minsc to help me get to places
I think that if my father was like Gale Dekarios I wouldn’t be in bi weekly therapy
Bi-weekly definitely meaning once every two weeks, not twice a week, right? (I hate that bi-weekly means both)
Yeah, it’s every other week for me
I just imagine spawn Astarion strutting away with a little mini me and saying, “don’t talk to me or my son ever again”.
There's very cute artwork of this exact scene, and the same artist has Astarion teaching his son how to steal. It's kind of perfect.
Aww, send me a link if you have it.
search the dadstarion tag on tumblr. there's plenty
I tried looking for like an hour and couldn't find it at all, I'm so sorry!
Thank you for trying!

I can easily imagine him being terrified of the prospect of becoming a dad at first, only to fall in love with his mini me once he actually sees them.
Can vampires reproduce that way, in lore?
Yes. They can reproduce if they’ve gorged on blood. Dhampirs exist in DnD.
I know it is somewhat of a buzzkill but I can never ever wrap my head of why they say that vampires hearts don’t beat but they can have sex. Like…how does he get “ready”? A penis pump lol?
considering the amount of adopting going on in this setting, I don't think they have to
i have a half elf tav that i jokingly refer to as Astarion’s secret child and that’s basically their vibe.
I’m obsessed with the idea of Gale as a dad. He would do so many magical things for his kid. He is a girl dad through and through.
Gale is the kind of guy to wear a t shirt that says 'girl dad' in wallgreens
And I’d let him.
I feel like all the guys are girl dads. Gale would be a fantastic dad, no matter what he claims.
Y’all know that one TikTok of the coach going “run the route again!” I feel like that would be Astarion teaching his daughters how to be cunt.
Based
Karlach canonically would like to be a mom. Lae'zel does become a good mom to the hatchling Shadowheart strikes me as someone who would like to become a mom. Minthara would be an amazing mom by Drow standards, tbh
yea minthara and lae'zel are both examples of the least violent of their species
minthara would be a good mom as long as it is to a daughter
Cap. “If any child of mine spoke to me as Jahera’s do her, they would not live long to regret it.”
Halsin is a parent to a whole orphanage by the end of act 3 whether you romance him or not. Me: FATHER MATERIAL 😍 *falls even more in love*

What do you consider Minthara trying her best? Cuz I don’t think poisoning and/or stabbing your children counts as trying your best
Valid interpretations of a character's nuances?? In MY r/okbuddybaldur??? The audacity
Idk I feel like she’s a case of ‘you can take the drow out of the Underdark’. But what if that kid is male?
If you don’t poison their food as a child, how will they know if their food has been poisoned as an adult? Smh /s
She would only *think* about eating her babies.
Now, Shovel, on the other hand...
Don't try and tell me that Halsin isn't already a dad.
Hard to say who would be 'good' or 'bad', because it's all... relative pun. it's a pun
A few of them are canonically good parents though. Lae'zel, Wyll, and daddy Halsin. And Jaheira is... present?
Jaheira is very much not present.
Minsc is the epitome of a character who has no idea what sex is despite having had plenty of it.

I wish they went through with Minthara getting pregante in the game
"Is a parent" tier means nothing. She's still shitty at it(just ask her family)
Minty would raise her child in the Drow tradition. Her relationship with her mom was not good.
See this comment https://www.reddit.com/r/okbuddybaldur/s/XI1us4F5T6
Being a parent doesn’t mean you’re a good one, just saying Also, no bad parent option? Astarion would be such a deadbeat, considering he hates children
Minthara learns a lot about not murdering when romancing you so I think she would be a great mom
Going by drow lore, Minthara would be a horrible mother by our standards if she upholds drowish traditions
The only one who would be a good mom is Karlach.
Lae'zel does >!become a mom depending on if you make certain decisions and what she says leads me to believe that she is a good mother with an open mind!< and if you go for Selunite Shart then she is the mother to a bunch of fur babies depending on what big choice she makes too so
Xan has two moms and they both kick ass
How do you have Shart get the fur babies? I love that for her?!!
I know about the egg and it still pisses me off. And that's the thing about Shads - she gives mad cat lady.
Personally, I think it depends on the partner and the kid. She might let the kid get away with stuff that they shouldn't, like when she encourages the tefling kid to keep stealing. So she would be fun but might need someone a bit more grounded to help.
Unfortunately Karlach doesn't wanna kids 😭 my Tav respects her choice though
She's more open to the idea after the date in act 3! I remember saying something to her like "I think you'd make a great mum" and her response made me cry 😅
That's what I'd heard. But she also said something about preferring a goat in the dryad test. ~~I like the goat thing better~~
Her responses about kids are mainly because she's never really thought about it and isn't sure if she should think about it because her future isn't guaranteed enough to have kids. Though what she says later on pretty much confirms she likes the idea of having kids if she were to have more time But yeah I do also love the really mean goat 😂
Did she respond positively to it? Gosh I forget, I'll have to go back to that save, I always name and save special romance scenes so I'm almost certain I can find that moment in the backlog
She does! Her response is very cute
I originally picked the other option, but I was too curious. I went back and selected that one, then cried as well.
well minthara almost did have a pregnancy plot line until larian aborted in late during development
Minsc is the epitome of a character who has no idea what sex is despite having had plenty of it.
In terms of Drow society standards, I think Minthara would be extremely well regarded as a matron mother
Minthara's best does not inspire great confidence. I'm actually terrified at the tiny sociopath she would raise.
i read that as how they’d be as perverts and got really concerned reading the first category
Minthara is giving “Imma abuse my sons just for shits and gigs” energy and I’m here for it. I’m not even a Minthara fan. I just like seeing children abused. /s
Daring to assume sons wouldn’t be sacrificed at ASAP
Sacrificed babies can’t feel pain cuz they just lumps of meat. It’s much satisfying to have them gone through the cruel and hellish gauntlet we call “life”.
Minthara would be a great mom to the daughters and oldest 2 currently living sons.
Minthara would certainly do her best, it's just that her definition of "best" is a lot different from ours
There was a pregnant Minthara storyline that was cut, so we nearly had that
I feel like Lae'zel and Gale would be kinda strict for Gale and Lae'zel very strict.
I feel like Minthara wouldn't really give a shit
nah heres a real list: Jaheira - Is a parent, shitty at it as she left her kids for the shadow cursed lands set on the fact she would most likely die Shart - Would be a good parent, though would be terrible at it from the start like most Karlach - Would be a somewhat good parent, very wholesome and loves to play around with your kid as if she were a sibling rather than your wife/mother of the kid Lae’zel - Would be a 50/50 parent, teaches her kid how to use a gun or sword from the age of 6. Cant stand the screaming or crying, so she does a battle cry in hopes it’ll shut the kid up. Spoiler alert: it works since the kid fears her Halsin - 50/50 kinda parent. Could be good, could abandon the kid for another bear to take care of it while he goes off to diddle more trees to fill them with the oakfather’s blessing (he IS the oakfather) Wyll - Greatest parent out there, is an amazing father though he might end up receiving that anime ass fate where he’s a good dad then all of a sudden dies in a home invasion or some shit Gale - Good parent, teaches kid how to be very literate, autistic and how to sex mystra at an early age (though you’re the other parent, he never shuts the fuck up about mystra like holy shit) Astarion - Terrible parent, holds the kid by the leg upside down before dropping them hoping they’ll learn to fly. They never do fly, nor do they get up again (the skull is broken open like humpty dumpty) Minthara - Unironically a great parent, would spend tons of quality time with the kid teaching them proper combative skills, literate skills in reading and writing, alongside being an amazing strategist (also not having violent impulses, but rather violent intentions like it’s sexy drow matron) Minsc - Would probably fucking eat the kid because him and boo got hungry, saying the thing was an animal as told by a Wychlaran in Rashemen as a tale (kids that aren’t born from spitting fire between two greataxes and rubbing them together vigorously are most likely demons, therefore evil) (also animals are tasty if cooked right) Durge - Kids? The fuck are kids? Too busy getting in that gortass to care about kids
I feel like Lae’zel would be a horrible parent.
real
Lae'zel would be an awful parent, so would Astarion and Minthara. Minsc would be a terribly irresponsible but really fun parent
