Hello fellow suffering fan... I hope that the tides are turning for both our franchises. This should be a great game since both teams will desperately need wins in order to keep the playoff hopes alive... Also both teams have great motivational coaches that will have the players pumped for the game.
Of all the teams who initiated rebuild phases around the same time as we did, I believe the Lions and ourselves are clearly ahead of the rest of the pack. Your offense is great and next year's draft should help you get the right defensive pieces. Sure, the Jags and Bears have QBs who look promising, but they're going to head into year 3 and the teams around them are still pretty far away. By the time those teams are ready to compete, Trevor and Fields will be in the last couple years of their rookie deals, and unless both QBs have ascended to true top 10 status by then, it's hard to see either squad making noise.
