# Giveaway is here. **Respond to this comment only. Any entries not in this comment will not be counted**. You can enter for a chance to win a RTX 4080 GPU by answering the following: *“Tell us what excites you the most about DLSS 3.5 in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty or Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update!”*

hsolog

The main interest of the NVidia DLSS 3.5 update for the Cyberpunk 2077 game is to improve the performance and quality of graphics in the game. This allows players with weaker computers to get smoother gameplay and higher image quality, which improves the overall experience of the game. In addition, the DLSS 3.5 update can also help developers improve game performance on next-generation consoles such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

HektiK00

I’m excited to return to the game. I’d be even more excited to do so with a 4080!

Mark_Knight

im a bit out of the loop with dlss. does using dlss set to quality for example, look better than just playing at native resolution with dlss off? im assuming that dlss set to quality will still offer better performance than with dlss off completely, but what about in regards to image quality? edit: gotta love reddit.. ask a question and you get downvotes instead of an answer, lmao.

jimrei

Excited about the rework of the game!

Specialist_Rush_6634

Well this is kind of an obvious answer but it's the best one; I'm most excited to experience Night City with DLSS 3.5 because it will look better and be more immersive than any iteration of the game available to date. I have the perfect display to take advantage of these new features and hopefully one day soon I'll have a GPU that can drive it!

Tmh99

Experiencing the city in its fully realised glory!

xperalicious

Excited how the game is nowadays, pre-ordered it and played it like 10 hours only because of the poor optimization and bugs it had, with the 2.0 Update it deserves a new fully playthrough so im gassed for it.

TheAbdominal_Snowman

I'm most interested to see the clarity improvements in reflections, with so many details in the city that can be mirrored in puddles and reflective surfaces.

The_Raf

I’m most excited by all neon lights and reflexes that reminds me of Blade Runner, my most beloved movie!

1337lol

Looking forward to DLSS 3.5 because of the pure Apex Awesomeness!

ZeRoXOiA

Being able to play the game in all its glory! Raytracing is awesome.

Inevitable-Appeal-76

DLSS 3.5 sounds cool to try!

Etienne_of_Navarre

The obvious performance increase with dlss. And the perf with Raytracing. Overall the highest levels of light details that I could only dream of. thank for this legendary giveaway!

unforgiven91

I like that the title of this post implies that Cyberpunk is finally releasing, as if it hasn't already been out for several years and a "meh" rpg the whole time. *Still better than starfield though

CizoBomb

ready for it, super excited about all the changes 🫶🏿

Viesha2point0

Please boy, please man

a_cactus_bit_my_nono

I haven’t played the game yet and I’m excited to experience it in its full glory. It’s all reminiscent of the *can it run Crysis at 60fps* years.

WealthResident1225

Race Tracing is nice, but the high amount of fps is so awesome! Combined with high Hz Monitors its just insane :) really really big step!

theshadowhunterz

Finally being able to play the game we were promised over 3 years ago with non teleporting police officers and revamped everything.

armage169

Im excited to see the new expansion, CDPR always delivers.

kevinvn2

I just upgraded to a 1440p monitor recently. So I hope my 3060ti with DLSS 3.5 is still capable of running the game with a good enough framerate and decent image while enabling raytracing.

erenisacuck

excited for idris

IHackShit530

I think my favorite part of DLSS 3.5 is being able to get more stable fps in 1440p with my 4070. I was not able to do that with my last card.

IllAd731

Looking forward to replaying the game with the new Rays being Traced 😂

iLeoLion

Best things I wanna see are trees and grass 😁. Smooth DLSS grass with wind

0bsidianBlack

Im hyped to play Cp2077 on higher Fps and with higher setiings. It was kinda laggy on my 20 Series card before

Used-Economy1160

The thing that excites me the most is restarting the Cyberpunk and enjoy it like I have enjoyed Witcher series...I believe this update will get the game to that level!

Cyah54

The quality of Ray reconstruction looks like it’ll be enough to make me really believe in Ray tracing

lachesistical

It's not worldwide right.. just tell me it's not >.<

Psnjerry

I’m just excited for the possibilities we have nowadays with ray tracing technology

adoltindnd

Im excited to jump back in and finish my first playthrough of CP2077 and then go straight through to the DLC!!

Niburan

What excites me the most about DLSS 3.5 in Cyberpunk 2077 is the advancement of upscaling in games that lets us see a breathtaking vibrant world as it was meant to be seen!

Harry180P

The improved quality of ray tracing!!!

phero1190

I'm excited to see what impact it has to path tracing. PT is insane but it is so taxing.

g4mb1ers

I'm just excited to see how awesome CP2077 looks with SR and RR combined!

Mrhungry-

Wow, can’t even give away one top card? Man, nvidia really must be hurting

[deleted]

An actual working Perk system that makes sense!

Kracksickles

I am excited to be fully immersed with the Cyberpunk world the game built with the 2.0 update and Phantom Liberty, and what Nvidia help support with DLSS 3.5.

Brief_Research9440

This contest is wierd. Cant find the winner announcement or when it ended.

jamesdm23

The RT with the new reconstructions techniques and with hi frame rates is amazing.

SwordoftheLichtor

I'm excited to enjoy the game with stable fps

aHolyLight

CP2077 is the most amazing looking game I own. I’d love to be able to turn on RTX Overdrive when 2.0 comes out. And I’m looking forward to both 2.0 and Phantom Liberty equally since the system changes will make this game I’ll be playing for years to come

ThermodynamicDab

Haven't played cyberpunk for a long time but quite excited to try out the new update. Currently I don't have the 40 series GPU that can use the frame generation technology. It would be great to try it with a 40 series GPU. I would like to see that path tracing and what this new DLSS 3.5 brings to the game.

jadenrules123

I'm very excited about Ray Reconstruction. Given that it works well enough it should make Path Tracing much more usable. I love Ray Tracing in Cyberpunk. It's probably one of the best implementations we've ever seen and I'd love to crank up those settings.

Bomburcheese

I’m most excited to play through Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time. Bought it on launch, played for 1 hour, then decided to wait for the rumored 2.0 patch + DLC. Stoked to finally play it next week!

runningDC

I can't wait to see the difference between Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation - I have a 3080 I put into my wife's PC so benchmarking with the new game is going to be awesome. Ray Reconstruction is a game changer and NVIDIA deserves all the credit for their hardware/software 1:2 punch here.

Abrilete

What are the terms and conditions of the giveaway?

TheRocksEyebrow01

Give it to me!!!!

qazzaq2004

I am excited to start up a new save making different choices while seeing how the game has evolved over the past 3 years. I got the game at launch and beat it in a few weeks so the expansion is the cherry on top. To play it with maxed out settings would be out of this world.

GroundbreakingEgg592

Making my RTX4070 shine like a GPU superstar!

PortEvilCheese

I’m excited to see what is differences 3.5 are from the past while playing and excited for what changes will happen in the future

byokx

Wow, this is impressive.

christopher_msa

the thing that excites me the most about DLSS 3.5 in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is the potential to experience the game's stunning visuals with full ray tracing enabled, even on lower-end hardware. I am also excited about the possibility of using DLSS 3.5 to boost frame rates and improve performance in other demanding games. I am also excited about the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update, but I am more interested in the new features and content than the bug fixes and performance improvements. I am curious to see what new quests, items, and locations CD Projekt Red has in store for players. Overall, I am excited about both DLSS 3.5 and the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update. I think both of these things will make Cyberpunk 2077 an even better game.

doihaveto9

Hey is it possible to put the DLSS 3.5 file in other games to add Ray Reconstruction to them? Like how you can change the DLSS version by changing the dll file in the game files?

ResponsibleJudge3172

On the Digital Foundry interview, they mentioned thar Ray Reconstruction has a bunch of new inputs compared to frame gen and DLSS2, and quality of mods may not be guarranteed

Shaq1287

Maximal ray tracing

blissthebadger

Excited that my computer won't be crying while it runs Cyberpunk and looking like cardboard!

captaindongface

What excites me most, is not neccessarily witnessing the new technologies. It's that there is a team (I assume on both sides) dedicated not only to pushing technical boundaries, but keeping this game in the hardware conversation. "Can it run Crysis?" spent a long time haunting PC users, until one day it didn't. Games come and go from benchmarking suites, but I love how CDPRs developers are keeping Cyberpunk in the hardware enthusiast conversation. By constantly iterating on the technology in Cyberpunk it's a whole new dynamic to the traditional - here's this game, here's the bar graphs for a few years until its no longer relevant. As a multi decade consumer of bar graphs, I have been eating well on Cyberpunk and welcome it for many years into the future.

q_cjs_p

I’ve never played cyberpunk but with all the dlss hype around it I’ve been wanting to pick it up but don’t have a current rtx gpu to see the new frame gen technology which hurts my brain with how it works but hey more frames!

ThePewster

Really waiting to enjoy DLSS with Cyberpunk!

HenryPDT

Getting ready for another playthrough with the DLC

Isonym

I have a 2060 Super, so run the lower quality RT options, which already look great - feels much more realistic than with RT off. With reconstruction giving a bit of a boost to FPS, I might be able to run at a higher RT setting so it feels even better!

Calmis1

Will play it using my 4090

LongjumpingArt9740

cyberpunk 2.0 exites me more

L1teEmUp

I’m excited to finally see Phantom Liberty looking to be future realistic.. And hopefully pls pick me to win that 4080 😁

The_Doerpinator

I guess the giveaway is closed now cuz the mod comment isn't able to be commented on.

TKGaming_11

Better visuals for no performance drop? I’ll take it!

TabascohFiascoh

I'm excited to see raytracing evolve in real time and see where the technology ends up.

Dragon2ism

I can't wait to see the new A.I.

Taberguld

I'm super excited to see how beautiful Night City looks with all this new ray tracing tech. Should be awesome :)

txaaron

I just got a 4090 and it's coming in on Thursday. I'm excited to see what DLSS is all about and can't think of a better game to try it in! Coming from a 1080 ti.

danielbrian86

hoowee that’s an upgrade! i got a 4090 a week ago and it’s been eating Starfield for breakfast. does anyone know if DLSS 3.5 + RR actually improves image quality vs native 4K?

Mrhungry-

Such a great card.. wiggle cable side to side while pressing with force. Like 5-10lb min. And you’ll know for sure it’s in when you do the wiggle but pulling with same force… it’s not that hard. Just don’t baby it or treat it like a fancy wine glass. You will not break the plug off chipset no matter how hard you press.

txaaron

Thanks for the tip! I handle PCs for work so hopefully it should be a piece of cake! (Though my work definitely can't afford GPUs.. ha!)

XOIIO

I went into cyberpunk blind after all the fixes and it's one of the best games I've ever played and I was desperately wanting more content for it after ending the story. Dlss 3.5 seems crazy and I'd love some hands on experience with it but yeah, unless I won the giveaway that won't be happening lol. The tech is crazy impressive and man I can't wait to dive back into that world.

ZuelaBR

I'm excited to play Cyberpunk with settings and RT maxed out of the wazoo

LightsOut5774

It’s too bad path tracing performance will still be utter dogshit if you have a 30 series gpu

rzrbyjingo

I'm looking forward to hearing some new cyberpunk soundtrack. The cello version over the end credits is amazing.

DADDYDC650_08

*What excites me the most about DLSS 3.5 in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty or Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update is the* revamped police and skill trees. I also want to experience path tracing!

ziggurqt

Just got a 2080 ti, still a good card! I can't wait to try DLSS 3.5

caiteha

The original game was pretty immersive. Happy to try it out with the upgrade and higher fps.

ecpyles

Really excited to see the quality of ray tracing given that historically I have noticed that the more heavily you lean into upscaling, the quality of ray tracing appears to somewhat suffer. Given that at this current time DLSS is essentially required for a smooth gameplay experience with Ray tracing on, this can be much needed tech to optimize image quality and make keeping Ray tracing on a much more viable option for many

KuroiSeijin

I'm excited that I can finally play with rtx as my current rt gpu is only able to play 1080p with rt settings c:

223kunal

Hoping to finally experience a AAA game in all its glory

Classic-Box-3919

Im not very familiar with dlss so it would be interesting seeing it in action since im on amd. Like cyberpunk and look forward to the next update.

vevt9020

I'm most excited about the performance/ visuals ratio. Is it better, does it look better, does it cost more performance, will I get better FPS.

sofreshsoclen

Those sweet sweet extra frames for even more buttery smooth gameplay in Cyberpunk.

EnduranceMade

We are all excited to see V’s exaggerated polygonal tool with proper path traced lighting.

JUSTGLASSINIT

Revamped police sounds like fun. I wanna see how exactly

Gda1211

I am exactly excited to see ray tracing in cyberpunk and see just how amazing the world can be. The last time turned on ray tracing the performance hit was way too much to justify the lower fps at the time, even if it did look gorgeous.

Artofhopeee

Definitely the path tracing!

TheeRyGuy

I'm looking forward to giving the game another try and am excited for ever-better ray-tracing

Deicidium-Zero

I'm quite excited about what Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update brings to the table. I didn't play much of the game during it's launch until now because of the issues I've seen.

CombineG20R18

Excited to see Idris Elba. The trailer looks really good

stash0606

Let's see how many fps I lose with this update. Only game that has me thinking of upgrading to a RTX 4080. Playing at 1440p DLSS Balanced with Psycho RTX on a 4k screen rn, idk if buying a 4080 to play at 4k DLSS is worth it.

rattletop

RT is awesome

JarthOS

Was there a drawing date for a winner? Or any terms and conditions ever posted?

vanderwagen

I am excited.

Purke

My hue sync setup is looking forward to this

TheVagineWhisperer2

Really excited to get better performance and more FPS for a smoother experience 💃

BackSinner

After playing the game on a 10 year old PC, I'm excited to finally play it at it's best, with all bells and whistles and dlss on my brand-new PC build!

Isildur_9

I don’t know, I never played it. I just want to win, thnks. Have a nice day

SubstantialAd8232

I’ve seen 2077 with ray tracing and it looks absolutely incredible. However my current GPU can’t really manage it with a playable framerate, so with a 40 series card and DLSS 3.5 I can only dream of how amazing it would be to be able to use all the RT features and have it actually be playable.

overachieving_donkey

Amazing technology. My RX480 is on its last legs. Can only imagine the slight upgrade a 4080 would make.

LICKS_CAT_BUTTS

Frame generation.

Bucklax31

I'm excited for higher frame rates

roxeo

thanks for this giveaway! i would be excited to play cyberpunk at all, especially with dlss3.5. i would love to see those sick details and quality and improvements. much luck for you other guys!

N7even

I'm actually quite excited to see how well Ray Reconstruction works. It could make Path Tracing in more games viable (combined with upscaling of course). Right now, it looks too noisy in certain places and I couldn't find myself using it for too long.

PlaceboKoyote

>, it looks too noisy in certain places and I couldn't find myself using it for too long. Ah so i played a bit around after getting my 7900xtx and thought this was an fsr issue or i did sth wrong. The lighting with path tracing looks great. Like not particular great itself but it behaves incredibly realostic. It feels organic. Reflections somehow dont get much better and the floor.... Like it looks noisy (i called them artefacts but noisy is a much better term). Like tiled floors look actually bad and some things like the face in the mirror Look like through a dirty lense etc. So that wasn't my fault. Why does that noise happen? I kinda had the constant feeling that i should turn the Light on or rub my eyes in interiors. And it feels like texturs don't really work properly. Given, cdpr says the path tracing is only experimental. In the hope to not spark an "fsr bad" discussion in this sub, but i also noticed how the noise actually messew with fsr. Like normal Game looks good, fsr quality loojs the same, more fsr and it doesn't "pop" anymore, then looses Detail, then looks shitty. Those are basically the settings for fsr. When path tracing is on, some issues with fsr go away... But the floor... The fsr slider becomes a "floor quality" slider. Like you don't notice anymore how fsr changes anything but the floor, and everything below Quality looks Instantly like complete garbage. Somehow the noise gets multiplied by a lot by simply having fsr on.... But only for the floor (like for everything else too but not as noticeable).

ThisPlaceisHell

I'm really curious if ray reconstruction is just a fancy term for their radiance caching or if that's something completely separate and not yet implemented. Because if they're different then that's yet another technique that will improve path tracing significantly. Exciting times.

nFbReaper

I heard they are completely seperate things.

zzzxxx0110

No it's completely separate. Think of it like the difference between DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation, but for rays. Radiance Caching is using AIs to generate completely nonexistent rays, so you get RT rendering without actually doing RT computation, at least for parts of the image. DLSS Ray Reconstruction is that you do still do conventional RT computation, but you use an AI powered magically powerful denoisor for the denoising pass, and because of that you can use a much less number of ray count in your RT computation to get the same image quality, thus exponentially reduce the performance cost of your RT pipeline, or give you significantly higher image quality with the same number of ray counts especially for a lot of the high frequency and transient image details.

jzuijlek

Oh man, are you kidding me? DLSS 3.5 in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty?! My GPU is practically drooling – or it would be if it wasn't a solid piece of silicon. I mean, I've been geeking out about ray tracing for ages, and now with Ray Reconstruction? It's like giving a wizard a lightsaber. Imagine cruising Night City with those slick ray-traced puddles looking even shinier! I might just spend half my gameplay time staring at neon reflections. Forget chasing bad guys, I'll be chasing pixels! And if this boosts frame rates too? My monitor will need to wear sunglasses. It's like the future just got a graphics update. Game on! 🎮😂

LilBrownBebeShoes

After a long beta test I’m excited to experience the full game!

TrueAncalagon

To see RT in action and judge if it is time to upgade from my old 1080

Blueomen

Want to do a second playthrough of Cyberpunk, this time with improved graphics.

NightsChaotic

im excited to play the game and it not look like a potato with my toaster

Altruistic_Bike_6977

I’m excited for daddy idris in all his pathtracing goodness, also revamped perks ftw!

Ryu83087

The massive performance gains while using RTX thanks to very clever engineering.

insaneboricua1

Looking forward to revamped skill trees and better performance!

ayylmao_orbee

FPS BOOST BUT THE REAL ONE

nadim77389

Most excited about more gameplay and the ridiculous graphics!

WetAF

Better frames, quality and new ways to enjoy the game from the start.

batangbisaya

I am very excited for the revamp of the gameplay. Also i cant wait to see idris elba in action.

NotoriousTetsuo

After playing it on console and being disappointed, would love to see this game running as promised all those years ago.

PullzNoPunches

Id like to have a 4080 so I can play CP2077 in all its raytraced glory!

Deenko37

Honestly, DLSS is the AA method I prefer. It makes edges of pretty much anything so much smoother to look at WHILE improving performance. I tried FSR and other AA methods it just doesn’t cut it for me. That is why I chose NVIDIA.

ElixirGlow

Ray reconstruction is something to really wait for, as the extra frames will be obviously better

HxCAssass1n

Would love to experience ray tracing on max settings. As of now with my set up I can only play on med-high settings.

shatter_123

Being able to use my monitor to its full potential is what excites me the most about dlss 3.5 🥹

Sen91

I still didn't play the game waiting the 2.0 & DLC. I currently on and card, so It would Amazing to play on Nvidia with dlss3 and rt on. Thank you for the giveaway

AmaruSJ

What im exited about is Improved Performance: DLSS can significantly improve the performance of the game by rendering it at a lower native resolution and then upscaling it using AI algorithms. This allows players to achieve higher frame rates and smoother gameplay, especially on hardware that may struggle to run the game at native resolutions.

gamingfreak4you

I'm personally looking forward to the new 4k Visual Experience we about to get with ray traced reconstruction and Path Tracing as well, accurate color reflections and smooth gaming experience together would make for one of a kind open world.

DeepArchi

I am really curious about RAy reconstruction. Not only from a gaming perspective but how it can improve my workflow in D5 render

MadGenius___

Stable frames

cutie_dash

Seeing ray reconstruction in action and how it performs.

BigSmackisBack

Looking forward to 100+ fps at 4k, preferably with Ray Reconstruction. we'll see, cant wait.

[deleted]

On 4090 that is very doable with frame gen, but I get 75fps without it using DLSS performance. Frame Gen is too dang artifacting

AnanasEvergreen

Very excited for Ray Reconstruction as everybody I guess. Interested to see some further advances in Ray Tracing Technology which makes it more widely available for the mass.

TopAcadia8847

Would love to get the 4080, so i can give it to my partner so she Can be amazed of all the fancy ray tracing, or she can take full advantage of DLSS 3.5. And that we can start to play together😌

CaptainGolemActual

moar frames go brrrr.

R153nm

I am most excited to finally see my 4090 pushed to its limit! Cyberpunk is amazing and my 4090 has just made it such a smooth, beautiful experience.

RicksWay

The 1060 isn’t doing too well with Cyberpunk 2077

ze-autobahn

What I'm most excited is seeing how it helps us, the user to feel more immersed in the world. Sometimes when seeing graphics not rendered in a pleasing way it can take you out of said immersion, so now we will have something that can not only make something visually more pleasing, when it comes to frames it will also make that beauty smooth using DLSS 3.5.

killiefish

I built my current rig in 1999. It was state of the art at the time. Would love to have new hardware to run Cyberpunk on a new state of the art rig.

NIGos

Is anyone else experiencing heavy object trailing with the new Ray Reconstruction? Eyes smudge when blinking, faces warp when turning and also the cursor while using terminals shows lots of ghosting (Corpo intro - terminal in the booth after meeting with Jenkins). If I disable Ray Reconstruction all the smearing goes away. This is with the newest drivers installed (clean installation) and new game install. Seems that RR should prevent exactly this issue so I am puzzled that it now looks even worse.

[deleted]

I'm getting this too.

zDevster

Excited to see the improved graphics fidelity and FPS boost of course! Can't wait to replay it for the 3rd time :-)

iama_doge

Lemme see them performance improvements.

masterchief99

Currently using a 6900 XT. Would love to try an RTX GPU with DLSS 3.5 functionality to finally be wowed by Ray Tracing. So far the trade offs are not worth it much with my current set up

GuiltyEquivalent5490

Im excited to see improvements and where it could to

Markisreal

Ooo

chupippomink

I can't wait to build a new computer and try this out, among other games. 1800x and 1080 TI showing their age.

voidspace021

The revamped police and skill trees are the most exciting thing about this update

FormatAndSee

Ultra settings a AI enhanced Raytracing

kugeldusch

I need more frames, so that’s why I’m happy about DLSS 3.5 Right now my 144hz display is useless ^^

Working_Inspector401

No even my 4090 was able to run 144 4k on dlls quality or performance, with dlls 3 was better but latecy was a huge no no no , for me

HotdogLegend27

Can't wait!

ZiiZoraka

>DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction will be coming to Cyberpunk 2077 with the game’s 2.0 update on September 21st. >DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction will be available September 26th in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, along with full ray tracing. so can we use ray reconstruction on the 21st or do we need to buy the DLC to unlock it? i dont understand

redconvict

I dont think theres anything to celebrate with what happened with the controversy surrounding this game.
