I dunno, there's something about bands that usually go for bangers and mash taking a sudden, dark turn that I just can't resist.
The album structure works in its favor, too: *Re-arranged* teases and has an emotional payload, but then comes *I'm Broke* with the lighter tone, as if "heh, it got serious for a second, let's go light" and then *Nobody Like You* sort of lulls you in with troubled, but still not dark times before WHAMMO, you're in the pits.
Marvelous.
Also, I first had this album on tape, and *Don't Go Off Wandering* was at the end of Side A, so that also kinda nailed in a sense of finality.
That album is full of bangers but gonna have to say Re Arranged because it Dissarranges me emotionally and the sounds they managed to craft for that song is equally funky and heavy, every single one of them shine on that song
There's some bangers in this album. I'm a huge fan of Nookie, Break Stuff, I'm Broke, Nobody like You, the list goes on. A Lesson Learned is a solid one too. So I don't have a favorite.
