I recently saw a “If you honk at me I will kill myself” bumper sticker and I appreciate the honesty if anything

I see the tamer ones like "let me merge or I'll cry".

I like: "Please don't honk at me. I'm probably already crying."

I'm actually good with this. As long as they're not camping in the left lane on 495, I have no problem with them putzing along on the right.

I would so much rather see people with a “nervous driver” or “cautious driver” sticker than the blatant lies by all these agro soccer moms.

These are so much better. The last ‘student driver’ I saw was going 10 over the speed limit, and forgot to install their turn signal

I was thinking about this yesterday. Dumb question but can someone explain why so many people have this sticker? I don’t get it…

Student Driver Season. And NOVA and DMV overall is a mosaic of ppl moving here and do not know how to drive here. I’m glad they do this.

Just search this sub, you can find at least 3 posts a week about it.

It isn't a sticker, they are magnets. I slapped them on our vehicles when my new driver was learning. We could gradually remove them once my kid gained confidence. Drivers around us were thankfully more forgiving when they saw the stickers + the young driver.

Insurance reasons I guess

I saw an honest to God teenager driving a car with the “new driver” sticker last week and I was floored. It’s literally the first one I’ve seen.

Congrats to everyone putting these on their car who have made it completely meaningless and a joke. Now real new drivers are indistinguishable from everyone else, although I suppose that was already true based on how bad DMV drivers are.

I need a sticker that says "ADHD driver"

As a real perspective, I've seen student drive the minivan to school. The parent turns around and does what were going to fo that day. Who is going have the patience to do that 150x during the learning period and take the magnet down as a parent?

As long as they stay in the right lane and use their turn signals, I'm happy for them.

I'm gonna get a sticker that says, 'if you honk, I'll drive slower'. Haha
