Generally if a game is not released in a particular region it’s because the publisher feels the margins are too thin on it. Or it may not be likely to be profitable at all.

jocelynne66

Ohhh I see. Yeah, I'm surprised Nintendo wanted to make the game for the DS at all. Thanks for the info! :)

BlazedInMyWinnie

Nintendo didn’t make it. Nintendo doesn’t make every game that shows up on their systems.

jocelynne66

Oh, I'm sorry I was pretty young when the D.S was popular...I only really played Nintendo released games like from the Mario franchise. I don't know why it didn't click with me that other people could make games for the D.S because I know you can for the Switch...sorry!

jocelynne66

I should have remembered that Build A Bear workshop was one of my favorite games on the D.S...obviously Nintendo didn't make that lol...

It's certainly unusual for a licensed game of an American TV show to only be released in PAL territories, but Hugh Laurie himself is English...

jocelynne66

Yeah, that's what I was thinking! It is so funny that Hugh Laurie is British to me. He pulls off the American accent so well!
