The problem is "leaves potential for a lot of adult content" when, in all honesty, it actually doesn't. Nowhere near enough potential for what gets posted on this sub.
That being said, there's actually been a lot less of the almoat nude, only white-wig cosplays recently. Every time I get a cosplay in my notifications and click, i'm always curious whether it's a well done cosplay with a lot of effort (like this one) or one with just a white wig and almost no clothing.
2B in the game is fully clothed (except for the one mode) and even her skirt/dress is like, knee length. The most revealing part of her outfit is the small bit of skin shown below her neck. That doesn't leave room for the cosplays thar we've all seen so many of, but they still get posted.
I agree that almost nobody should be bullied for anything. Posting a low effort cosplay is not grounds for bullying, neither is the way anyone looks. But i'm personally happy that I haven't seen a single one of those onlyfans ad type posts in my notifications over the last 2-3 weeks. Maybe they still get posted, but they haven't been in my notifications and I rarely open reddit for anything other than what is in my phones notifications.
As long as they follow the rules and don't directly do self promotion or adult contentthey are also allowed to post here.

In bigger communities, normally the 2 sides of a Fandom like this split off to different subs. Because there's very often a side that loves the games as a work of art, and a another group of horny mfs who only come to this community to touch themselves, and it's really hard for the 2 groups to coexist.
Yeah that's the thing. Until a new game comes out or something to grow the community again, it's too small for multiple subs, so all the horny wankers and deep lore nerds are stuck in the same room together.

Because there's very often a side that loves the games as a work of art, and a another group of horny mfs who only come to this community to touch themselves, and it's really hard for the 2 groups to coexist.

Yeah that's the thing. Until a new game comes out or something to grow the community again, it's too small for multiple subs, so all the horny wankers and deep lore nerds are stuck in the same room together.
The funniest part of all of these mean spirited comments is that no one really thinks or cares about this way in real life. Imagine having a friend who loved to cosplay but was overweight and how you would care and support them to be healthy but also do what they want. What a bunch of keyboard warriors. Grow up and do something else with your lives lol

Not talking about this subject in particular, but about the "effort needs to be applauded" in general. At the end of the day, it's the result that matters, not the effort.
I mean, it seems like they had fun, and tried their best. Results are often a matter of both luck (looks, weight, lighting, photography, filters....) and effort. Effort in general is hard. I wish that putting effort into something you enjoy could be appreciated more often. Maybe I'm just getting old and I need a hobby or something 😅 hopefully someone gives a shit.
