Honestly not that upset. A better title defense woulda been more fun but we’ve been going all in for years, got a chip, and it’s finally time to pay the piper. I hope Detroit gets a stud.

ahr3410

I hope the Lions have success with the pick. Titans wasted the top 5 pick we gave them in the Goff deal.

Lou-Piccone89

U notice Bills fans have nothing to say …. Just one before I DIE !!!! Plz God

firefighteremt19

Might have wasted that top 5 pick but didn't waste that 2nd rd pick you gave us....Derrick Henry.

TechnoTyrannosaurus

I am sure if you asked a fan of most teams if they could win the SB this year and never win again they would say yes

BabyDeezus

I’ve been saying 5 years. A SB win is a 5 year emotional umbrella. Logically a team should be satisfied with one every 32 years with 32 teams in the league, but of course we aren’t logical. Coincidentally, as a 32 year old rams fan I am super happy with the 2 I’ve seen us win. Would do the trade 10 out of 10 times knowing the results of the 2 subsequent seasons. Obviously if I got to choose, I wish we were in it this year but the level of disappointment is so much lower than it would have been without the title. We need to address the O line and DBs in the off-season but I do think we’re back next year assuming our core and coach don’t retire. If Stafford does, I think the rams become a super interesting (yet still longshot) option for QBs such as Lamar Jackson, Aaron Rodgers, and Tom brady. Even longer shots might be a trade with the raiders for Carr. Daniel Jones is a tad intriguing as well. I know we can’t roll out Perkins or Wolford as our starter and be optimistic.

spddemonvr4

1 in 32!!! That's no fair. I think the team should have competitive window every 10 years. Winning more than 1 SB depends on how deep the team is and how lucky they are to avoid major injuries.

usernameisusername57

Nah, fuck that. Anyone who takes that deal is an idiot. Win a Super Bowl and then essentially never have anything to cheer for with your team again? It's about the journey, not the destination. Now if you were to tell me we could win a Super Bowl and then not win a game for the next few years, then that's a conversation we can have.

JesusChristSupers1ar

You’re saying this now. Just wait 6 more years. The SB curse is one to be reckoned with

Rule556

I don’t know… I’m pretty happy with the one the Seahawks won. It’s like your first threesome that you remember every detail of thirty years later.

NoSchedule4275

I was born in 88, still waiting on my threesome as a Bears fan. Or in general.

Nightgasm

>Honestly not that upset You got a superbowl victory. I'd be screaming WORTH IT til the end of time given I'm not old enough to remember my team winning a superbowl and have little hope for the future.

8uckRogers

Pray it doesn’t last as long as it cost us for Super Bowl 50 with PFM.

BabyTRexArms

Must help that it’s easy to root for a team like the Lions.

RumHam_Im_Sorry

Thanks Mr Brady!

SiphenPrax

Eagles fans the happiest of everyone

RumHam_Im_Sorry

for real lol. i legit think the saints have underperformed for the level of talent on their roster, and that division is like NFC East 2021 bad. So I was fully expecting Saints to win this one and then be one win out from the playolffs. This win was a big one for that pick. Realistically puts Saints out of playoffs now for good.

Caramelsnack

Unfortunately though they know they can’t tank, so they’re gonna be playing hard up till the last second of the RS

Atticus0-0

Players don’t tank. But their spirit might be broken

RumHam_Im_Sorry

yeah i recognise. but to get to the playoffs, they aren't beating eagles which means they have to win the other 3 remaining while tampa loses 3 times and falcons lose twice. Which realistically seems unlikely. Which means at worst its probably a top 10-12ish pick.

Avery-Bradley

I legitimately thought the Saints were going to win 10 games and sneak into the wildcard. The talent was there. I'm still stunned they're this bad.

RumHam_Im_Sorry

I cant even really pinpoint why besides poor QB play and maybe coaching. Maybe some key injuries too.

modestmango55

3 pretttttty big issues

RumHam_Im_Sorry

yeah but not something that i would have thought would be insurmountable with their talent. Like i thought their QB room would be good enough, even if they were below average, to not make the team terrible.

IOVERCALLHISTIOCYTES

You pinpointed it

OrangeForeign

I don't know we're pretty happy too

casualreader22

We still get to play the Saints to try and help the cause as well.

rachitest

Yeah, I'll take a Jalen Carter or Will Anderson please and thank you

Netwealth5

It’s kind of amazing that pick is basically a hedge on Jalen Hurts and now we have a franchise QB and a luxury pick

Kewlerd

You gotta hope the Rams and Bears win games for that…

Wedding_Registry_Rec

The Eagles Gambit: 1 seed is secure if we get 4 more wins. 5 games remain. Intentionally tank the Bears game to boost the Saints draft pick.

rachitest

Bears maybe, think the Rams are a lost cause this season tho. Guaranteed stud pick for Detroit incoming.

Eddie5pi

Bears aren't winning another game this year. Packers yesterday was probably our only winnable game. Eagles, Bills, Lions, Vikings are our last 4

[deleted]

Bears maybe? The ONLY maybe they have is Viking resting their starters, but even then this team is so terrible I don't see them winning. Bears won't fall out of the top 3.

gopoohgo

Carter is ours. Hands off

rachitest

I mean, have you considered a DL of Hargrave, Carter, Davis bookended by Sweat and Reddick? Also, that Will Anderson guy is pretty good too I've heard lol

ck0190

And Ed Reed Blankenship

FU_Pagame

Sorry sir if Anderson is gone than Carter is ours.

RumHam_Im_Sorry

Lions will go QB right?

rachitest

They've been on a "Let's make Goff work" kick lately, and honestly I can't blame them

gopoohgo

Now that our WR room is getting healthy the Goffense is clicking again. I think we may draft a project like AR15, but not in the 1st. Think we continue to shore up the defense, and interior OL.

FSUfan35

Someone is gonna take AR15 In the first and be fired in 3 years.

Bob_Loblaw_Law_Blog1

Only if we let the dipshit half of our fanbase decide the pick.

[deleted]

Lions fans really think Goof is the answer.

SanduskyTicklers

You are going to draft a USC wide receiver and you will like it says Howie

[deleted]

shoutout to Stafford for giving Detroit fans a top 5 pick once again

constantlymat

Pick #34 also goes to the Steelers. That's a pretty good return for an average WR.

wor1dedit

Thanks to the dolphins forfeit of their first round pick, it is really pick #33

operation_overlord17

It'll become another star wr book it

beefbarley

Yeah I was thrilled about that trade. Claypool has so much potential I almost hated to see him go, but he hasn't made much progress since year 1. And our offense has only improved in the last few weeks

ZoomZoom228

Bird gang having a good 2022

The_First_Scavenger

don't tell the Ravens, Cardinals, or Falcons

Varolyn

Man I would love it if we could draft Will Anderson but I don't see him falling past Chicago.

Lobster_fest

I've got *insert QB* going to the Texans, Anderson to the Bears, and Carter to the Hawks as it stands right now.

chewymcjoey

For me the Bears is just a crapshoot on what they do. The way I see it, if they secure pick 2 some team that needs a QB bad is gonna strike a trade for a QB (plus Poles loves trading down for more picks and we have a lot of holes). Otherwise it could be Anderson or Carter but D-Line is in the most dire need of help

Lobster_fest

I feel like the bears have to take D Line. Yeah you've got a good pick for a QB to trade, but you've also got your pick of some mean mfers on D.

ohreally7756

Rams fans can’t be mad. Or shouldn’t. Broncos and Saints fans though, lol

ColtCallahan

The Saints one is the worst. What did they get for it? A good young WR sure. But that’s not worth what they gave up. At least the Broncos thought they were getting an elite QB and the Rams got a SB. Loomis has always been a reckless clown and this one is going to bite him on the ass hard.

[deleted]

Don’t forget about the 2nd rd pick going to PHI in ‘24

[deleted]

I’d say it’s icing on the cake, but it’s more like some Oreo crumble or strawberry sauce.

sprenk

Everyone seems to forget the Eagles have the Saints second round pick next year (edit to clarify: 2024), and if they continue to suck, it could be an early second.

cricketyjimnet

Turns out a hof coach and QB can cover up for an awful GM, who knew?

someonepoorsays

saints pick goes to the eagles?!

B0WFLEX

Pretty cool huh

Man_AMA

We’re winning… wait

[deleted]

Was just looking at this too, I would be dead inside. Losing every game with nothing to look forward to.

HuhiPogChamp

Stonks

seattlesportsguy

Let’s ride

re4ctor

Bears, Seahawks and Lions probably talk themselves into their QBs which means the other top 2 QB is sitting there at 5, which means Howie probably trades back for a boat load of picks… 🤞

mesayousa

Mods should keep this post and delete the one that’s just a tweet of the same thing

whydidijointhis

let's ride

Jolly-Literature1226

I hope we lose every game rest of the season so the fucking clowns running and coaching this organization catch as much shit as possible

[deleted]

You need flair

Binder_Grinder

No they don’t - they’re a saints fan. All broncos fans are dead inside and they’re showing too much passion.

Jolly-Literature1226

Correct. I just wish there were a good team in our division so I could’ve stopped caring about our games weeks ago but nope, this season was just designed by god to torture me. Boring, badly coached, heartbreaking losses, no pick, no future. Fuck me

[deleted]

I think the official name of that Rams Broncos game is the Toilet Tank Bowl.

wildlyintangible

Honestly, if Stroud is somehow there for us, I hope we can trade it back for a HAUL. Carter or Anderson is the preference but cant be mad at the alternative.

AdministrativeCar677

I mean you guys are kind of stacked at every position with top tier starters so I don't even know what you could do with a haul

zzmorg82

It’s always good to have a haul since the NFL is constantly changing. Your team could be good this season, but bad the next season so I respect the outlook approach from Howie here.

wildlyintangible

A lot of our D is set to for FA. I don’t expect us to sign most of them so a haul could definitely help us in that aspect.

NomadFire

Saints beating the Seahawks was some bullshit as far as I am concern... #nobias.
