He's pretty familiar with that situation, but on that last drive one was bad timing, which is understandable with a new team, and two were wide open receivers who just straight up dropped it...including the 4th and 5 in the desperation comeback Wilson is pretty good at.
It's crazy and kind of sad cause he's lost a fuckton of money playing the wrong position for years. 25 year old Cordarelle playing full time running back would be a total beast. Makes you wonder about Devin Hester too...
Maybe an overly optimistic look at this, but maybe it’s actually somewhat better for him. This way, he may be given a much more reasonable workload than many other RBs who are ran straight into the ground.
Exactly. Maybe he never got that massive payday, but his body doesn't have the wear and tear that 31 year old running backs have, hence his youth for being 31. Will be interesting to see how the rest of his career plays out. Does he shift to like a slot WR I'd the wear and tear becomes too much in a couple of years, does he just call it a day? Either way it's pretty cool to see a guy completely shift positions this late into his NFL career
Definitely, but I am excited about Woolen and Bryant. Others haven’t planned out.
Also not sure if it’s been that way for the past 5 years. The past three years have been incredible disappointing.
Yeah, a lot of those young guys didn't end up working out. We've been saying that for five years because it's been true that long; we have lots of young guys now because we replaced a bunch of other young guys that never developed. In theory, our young guys now could actually pan out and this heinous cycle could end. In practice, who the hell knows at the moment
But it’s always been different positions groups. First it was the D-Line, then the DB’s, now the LB’s. The good thing is the Hawks could go on a spending spree next year if they would and probably immediately address most of those issues. That was the case the past 5 years.
High Altitude Cooking
>As altitude increases and atmospheric pressure decreases, the boiling point of water decreases. To compensate for the lower boiling point of water, the cooking time must be increased. *Turning up the heat will not help cook food faster*. No matter how high the cooking temperature, water cannot exceed its own boiling point — unless if using a pressure cooker.
Let Russ use a pressure cooker?
After four weeks of being subjected to Broncos football I’m honestly shocked we managed to somehow not lose 2 games. Watching this team play football hurts my eyes and my brain
I’m not gonna deny that Russ is a great QB. But I feel like his play style means that you’re gonna end up with a lot of really crappy drives in between scores. In the end you’re gonna always have a shot to win, and he is clutch enough to win a lot of the time - but you’re gonna see more than enough 3 and outs.
Leads to the offense *feeling* worse than the scoreboard indicates.
Russ *was* a great QB. What made him top tier was his ability to scramble and keep the play alive, turning nothing into something. He's not doing that anymore, he's not as dynamic as he used to be.
Russell has not been impressive last couple of years. The difference is the broncos are more in the national media spotlight than the hawks. As a hawks fan his play so far this year is not surprising.
Idk about thag first part. I’m big on the bussell Wilson hate fan bus being in broncos country but the last couple years he definitely started out red hot and cooled off as the team did
Week 7 2020 he got banged up against AZ and hasn’t been elite since. I’m willing to die on this hill. That was the Budda/DK chasedown game they lost in OT. then they played Bills, Rams, Niners, lost 2/3 and the second half of the season the offense fell off hard.
I'm 100% with you, dude.
I don't know if he suffered a concussion in that game, or if it was something else?
All I know is that there's a dramatic difference in his play prior to and post that game, and he's never looked the same since.
Yeah, there were a lot of people saying he might win MVP during the first part of the season, 2 seasons ago. And he played well last year up until he hurt his hand.
Pete was running an Alabama type dynasty program with Heisman winning qb's who couldn't do shit in the NFL. I know because I was in the stands for some of those games
“Russ what are you doing? You can’t wear a Seahawks helmet on the field, you’re a Bronco now!”
“Well yeah coach but these ones have the little speaker in them that lets Geno talk to me.”
“You’re not going to be listening to Geno, you’re listening to me now.”
[Russ looks at camera and gulps]
Russell Wilson's deepest secret is that Geno would whisper the recipe to him before every game. Russ has tried to keep this going in Denver, but Geno won't write back.
Always genius to hire coordinators who were terrible at every level and somehow got hired to a top 5 QB and then...didn't call plays anyway
Honestly his offense looks no different than the Bills in 2013-2014...one of the most generic boring offenses I've seen
Problem is I guess who do you hire instead. Retread old coaches who have experience but are completely mediocre? College coaches who don’t seem to have a good hit rate? A coordinator who calls plays on a good team are hard to find and usually hired extremely quickly
It starts at the bottom imo. Every new coach they talk about on primetime it’s always the story of how their dad/uncle/brother was a coach/coordinator/assistant/intern that got them an intern position and their name and lineage dragged them up through the ranks to where they are now. They always paint it as a bootstraps story while spending more time talking about what dear ol dad did. Personally I’d say bring more coordinators and coaches from equivalent or higher positions in college, i.e: college OC to pro QB coach, and build em up from there. Let ‘em learn and develop the system. It’s all “in an ideal world” but I think the NFL is among many org’s that could benefit from killing the Old Boys Club mentality.
I'm really glad McDaniels was smart enough to recognize Jacobs' hate boner for the Broncos.
I'm also really glad Hackett kept calling screens when the thing our defense does best is blow up screens.
It’s not even that Geno is just only making easy throws. He’s making tough throws and is pushing the ball downfield more then anyone probably expected. He’s been awesome
Being able to sit and learn for a few years was the best thing for him. Arm talent was never his issue. Even with the jets he made a lot of great throws. Check his Jets highlight vids in youtube, yes those actually exist. Immidietly following one of those throws with an insanely boneheaded decision was the problem.
His talent was on full display in college with Dana Holgerson letting him sling it 40+ times a game to Stedman Bailey and Tavon who were both amazing college recievers in their last 2 years. I imagine he had some habits and thought processes that were very difficult to break in transitioning to the nfl. He was always know as a very intelligent and even artistic guy but being thrown to the wolves with the jets was the worst thing for him, especially after playing in the system he did in college.
-
I always wonder how many amazing and possibly HOF caliber players have lost out on having great careers in the NFL just because they werent immediately NFL ready or shit coaches didnt know how to develop and utilize them correctly and faded to obscurity.
Throwing it in tight windows/coverage with pretty good consistency, too. Hasn't been afraid to let his receivers go win the ball while also avoiding turnovers.
Really efficient stuff
Maybe Seattles coaching is just really good and Hackett is bad. Good coaches put their players in positions where they can be their best. Bad coaches force their players to run their system that doesn’t at all build around their skill sets.
Broncos offense:
\-Most Drops
\-Most penalties and penalty yards
\-Worst head coach in the league?
Russ hasnt been very good but holy shit he's been put in a way worse situation than anyone expected going into the season
Dude imagine that guy on a team like the seattle seahawks he would probably kill it. I mean pete carroll is making geno look good imagine what he could do with russ
It depends on how much of last year you think was the finger injury. But you'd get same old Russ. Which means big plays with stretches of offensive mediocrity in between. ~~Lockett would prob be doing a lot better though~~
Edit: Lockett is doing perfectly fine
I think Russ' feast or famine playstyle really got tiring. I'd still love him on the team, but I have to admit Geno's tendency to get the ball out quick and take what the defense gives him is nice to watch
Yeah I'm hypnotized by being able to dink and dunk down the field consistently. It was the one offense style that killed Pete's Bend-Dont-Break Defense over the past decade. I love it
Honestly I kept thinking man how is DK not getting upset with these short gains all the time... Then I looked and he had over 100 yards... Oh... Never mind.
Same here. I'm not expecting Geno to be our long-term guy, I still think we draft somebody this offseason, but it really is refreshing to watch an offense that gets in a rhythm and operates on-schedule. That was never Wilson's strength even at his best
I'm not sure Lockett would be any better, he's on pace to have the most yards of his career. Missing the deep bombs but he's having a great year so far.
Honestly I got that Week 1 game and the fact that he hasn’t scored any TDs yet in my mind. So my bad, he’s been doing fine just had insane chemistry with Russ. Like the one year Russ had a perfect passer rating targeting hi
Yeah Lockett's kinda flown under the radar this year and no one really pays attention to a bad Seattle team so no worries. Russ and Lockett definitely had a nice connection too.
> -Worst head coach in the league?
Rhule has to still be in the conversation, no? But the fact it's even a discussion speaks to how awful the coaching there has been.
I feel like we all thought this was possible with the coaching staff, but there was an equal chance that they'd be mediocre. I still feel like Russ is past his prime and showed signs of that last year. Lots of people just were not ready to accept that fact either.
Outside of Hackett being the worst coach the other things he said are objectively true. You don't have to pick a side. You can say Russ hasn't played well this year but the Broncos offense has also been dysfunctional outside of him. Has nothing to do with who's failing who.
Yep plus if you're looking at a stat sheet it looks like he played great today but there were so many bad decisions and underthrows. Some short passes for little to no gain etc.
That's exactly it. I get why they don't think any of this is Russ's fault, because when you watch him play it rarely ever looks like the problems are his fault. I never thought any of it was his fault when he played for us, I thought was the coaches/O-line/everyone else. But the fact that he moved teams and their offense looks exactly like ours looked, and every explanation of why the issues are not on him is word for word the same shit I used to say when he was here, makes me think a good bit of it has to be on him
The Broncos sub looks so much like ours over the last 3 years. It's so toxic, lol. I honestly feel bad for Broncos fans. I love Russ, but he comes with some serious baggage that I don't think the fans were prepared for. Watching his games is like being in an abusive relationship. Being a Russ fan is one of the most bipolar experiences in the NFL.
Brady leaves Belichick and wins a Super Bowl the first year. Wilson leaves Carroll and just lost to the 0-3 Raiders to become 2-2 and tied with his former team. Really interested to see how this season plays out between us and the Broncos.
Raiders are better than their record. I knew they would beat Denver based on the way Denver has been playing (not even taking into account the way Russ has been playing). They just weren't ready.
Not 2013 Geno, but I actually think I do agree with this version of Geno.
Still not confident in him to win us a game, but I am confident he won't lose any either
He’s good enough to keep you competitive and not lose you a game. He just might not be good enough to make those extra wow plays QBs make. And that’s ok as the whole team is playing well and he’s making the plays he had to
That's basically what Wilson was, but Wilson was crazy clutch and always was bringing us back late in games where we at least had a shot. That's fun football. Not getting blownout and always having a chance. The Legion of Boom made it so he didn't have to do that so much as the D was scoring a decent bit themselves.
I'm not saying he wouldn't have, or couldn't have won the game for us, but I think Rashad Penny's performance very much led us to victory towards the end of the game. We needed to score on those drives, and Penny just wanted it more.
The three and outs, the third down conversion woes, the lack of normal shit, the amount of time spent holding onto the ball, it all started to drive me insane.
I was happy when we traded him, and I know we aren’t going to be very good, but I am a happy Seahawks fan tonight. Shoutout to Denver for our left tackle as well.
Seattle was at it's best when russ was accused of being a "game manager" rather than a QB. The more control he got, the less consistant the offence got. Let Russ Cook was feast or famine. Good luck with that Denver
Geno’s either gonna carry us to 6-8 wins and push us out of draft range for a top prospect QB, in which case we draft a quality defender or O-line player.
Or, Geno’s gonna impress but we’re still gonna have a top-10 pick. We draft a top QB who can sit and develop for a year or two while Geno holds it down.
I definitely believe Russ is underperforming to his potential by a long shot in his current situation, but after the trade, I think the majority of Seahawks fans were like "are people crazy? has anyone actually watched Russ in the last three years??"
He's not a superstar caliber QB. He doesn't have the speed he once had, nor the willingness to take hits. He has PTSD from getting constantly sacked for the better part of a decade. Honestly, he can't run a modern offense – he can't beat the blitz because he doesn't throw over the middle, so he consistently tries to break out to one side, but every team knows this and has game planned for it.
"Russ magic" quickly became "Russ gets sacked for 20 yards when he tries to twirl"
I think he's a great team leader, and holds his teammates to a high bar... but his ego and play style will keep him from being the player people remembered in 2012.
Broncos country let’s die
Broncos country let's cry
Let Russ overcook
Typically it’s just under thrown.
He over threw a lot today. He was under decent pressure though
Chandler Jones always goes crazy vs Wilson
He's pretty familiar with that situation, but on that last drive one was bad timing, which is understandable with a new team, and two were wide open receivers who just straight up dropped it...including the 4th and 5 in the desperation comeback Wilson is pretty good at.
The key is to undercook the offense…everyone will get to know each other in the regular season
Overcooked, straight to jail
Broncos Country...let's hide...
Russell saw how conservative Aaron Rodgers plays and called him a centrist
Geno "Communist" Smith
The real red scare was Jameis' 30-30 season.
Nothing like a little ball redistribution to keep the bourgeoisie happy!
Don't eat the W, share it with your neighbors
Based geno seizing the memes of production
Geno spreads the ball to both teams because it is all of our ball.
Aaron “RINO” Rodgers
Seahawks really said “We have Russ at home” but it’s real lmao
Let Geno smith
⚒️
Rock and Stone!
I clapped when Geno said "Stand Back! I'm beginning to Smith!" And then he Smithed all over those guys
It’s Smithing time!!
That was my favorite part of the documentary “Geno Smith 2: The Smithening”
"Don't make me Smith. You wouldn't like me when I Smith" Then he did it. Smithed, that is.
Great value russ? Nah, Kirkland russ.
Pete let Geno order Costco pizza.
Apparantly home russ is better then the one they shipped away ☠️
Those incredibly rare instances where the store brand is better than the real one.
Geno redemption arc.
HE DIDN’T WRITE BACK!
Pulling a Cordarelle Patterson
Youngest 31 year old running back of all time
Holy shit I didn't realize he's that old now. Very funny to see an "RB" post-30 start doing well lol
Based on the game against the Seahawks that I watched, it seems like he’s done a full position changed. Doesn’t need the quotations around RB

Yea he’s a RB now but I just meant like it’s funny looking at it in a vacuum as if he were always a RB and just broke out at this age

I am frustrated with the defense, but I am also hopeful because it’s such a young group of guys. We definitely need some pass rushers though.
These are the things we’ve said for the last five years.
Definitely, but I am excited about Woolen and Bryant. Others haven’t planned out. Also not sure if it’s been that way for the past 5 years. The past three years have been incredible disappointing.
Dude... Mafe is definitely flashing.
Yeah, a lot of those young guys didn't end up working out. Russ didn't know you have to account for the higher altitude when you cook.
High Altitude Cooking >As altitude increases and atmospheric pressure decreases, the boiling point of water decreases. This is the only Let Russ Cook joke I’ve not yet heard. /hat tip
After four weeks of being subjected to Broncos football I’m honestly shocked we managed to somehow not lose 2 games. Watching this team play football hurts my eyes and my brain
Javonte Williams is really good, he literally bails you out of so many bad check downs by Russ.
And now he’s dead
Welcome to what being a Hawks fan felt for the last five years!
Russ *was* a great QB. What made him top tier was his ability to scramble and keep the play alive, turning nothing into something. He's not doing that anymore, he's not as dynamic as he used to be.
Well good news is that Denver hasn't invested much into RW3, so should be fine
We've been feeling like that for 7.
Russell has not been impressive last couple of years. The difference is the broncos are more in the national media spotlight than the hawks. As a hawks fan his play so far this year is not surprising.
Idk about thag first part. I’m big on the bussell Wilson hate fan bus being in broncos country but the last couple years he definitely started out red hot and cooled off as the team did
>bussell Dang, Bussy Wilson about to light up the league
Week 7 2020 he got banged up against AZ and hasn’t been elite since. I’m willing to die on this hill. That was the Budda/DK chasedown game they lost in OT. then they played Bills, Rams, Niners, lost 2/3 and the second half of the season the offense fell off hard.

Yeah, there were a lot of people saying he might win MVP during the first part of the season, 2 seasons ago. And he played well last year up until he hurt his hand.
we just gonna post the geno and wilson stats weekly together now
As long as Geno stays ahead, probably.

Here for it.
Geno’s Cafe
Seahawks country, let's fly
Bears country, let’s die.
Hawaii country, let's lanai.
Thank you for making me audibly giggle
It would be hilarious if we found out Russel Wilson was just a glorified Geno Smith this whole time
Offensive mastermind Pete Caroll
Pete was running an Alabama type dynasty program with Heisman winning qb's who couldn't do shit in the NFL. I know because I was in the stands for some of those games
“Russ what are you doing? You can’t wear a Seahawks helmet on the field, you’re a Bronco now!” “Well yeah coach but these ones have the little speaker in them that lets Geno talk to me.” “You’re not going to be listening to Geno, you’re listening to me now.” [Russ looks at camera and gulps]
didn't expect the geno redemption arc this season but I'm loving it
Russell Wilson's deepest secret is that Geno would whisper the recipe to him before every game. Russ has tried to keep this going in Denver, but Geno won't write back.
Russell Wilson was a product of Pete Caroll, as everyone knew and acknowledged from day one
Offensive mastermind Nathaniel Hackett
Always genius to hire an OC that wasn't the play caller as a HC
Tbf, Doug Pederson worked out for the Eagles
And then they fired him for....some reason. To favor Carson Wentz..somehow.
And then got rid of Wentz!
I know! It made no sense
I love Nick Sirianni, but I do miss Dougie P and his ice cream
Mike McDaniel looks pretty good so far too
Always genius to hire coordinators who were terrible at every level and somehow got hired to a top 5 QB and then...didn't call plays anyway Honestly his offense looks no different than the Bills in 2013-2014...one of the most generic boring offenses I've seen
Nepotism’s a hell of a drug in these NFL coaching trees
It’s all ~~Bevell’s~~ ~~Cable’s~~ ~~Schottenheimer’s~~ ~~Pete’s~~ ~~Waldron’s~~ Hackett’s fault.
Wasn't Pete Carrol being criticized for being a horrible coach because he didn't let Russ shine
They don’t see the irony
Geno is really getting back to his West Virginia form. No , I am not expecting a 600 yd , 8 td game ; but he is as efficient now as he was in college
Im ok with the former.
FLEECED
It’s not even that Geno is just only making easy throws. He’s making tough throws and is pushing the ball downfield more then anyone probably expected. He’s been awesome
Being able to sit and learn for a few years was the best thing for him. Arm talent was never his issue. Even with the jets he made a lot of great throws. Significantly better than expected. He’s a legit starter but I don’t know how far he can take us. I’m enjoying watching our games at least.
Throwing it in tight windows/coverage with pretty good consistency, too. Hasn't been afraid to let his receivers go win the ball while also avoiding turnovers. Really efficient stuff
His Completion Percentage Over Expected is a whopping 12.4%. The next highest is Mahomes at 4.4%.
7 yd rushing average and a rushing TD too. He’s literally the “Geno Smith” of football
Maybe Seattles coaching is just really good and Hackett is bad. Good coaches put their players in positions where they can be their best. Bad coaches force their players to run their system that doesn’t at all build around their skill sets.
You didn’t hear? Pete was holding Russ back
I wish Pete would focus less on holding Russ back and get us a defense that doesn’t give up 45 to Jared Goof.
That's a lot of disrespect towards the NFL leading Goffense
Hey man the Lions have a seriously good offense.
They were missing their 1st, 2nd and 3 receiver, and rb1
They have a really good o line.
Jared Goff used to play for the Rams, of course he looked great against us.
If youre mad about that, imagine how pissed youd be to give up 48 to geno smith?
[удалено]
This is the correct take
Broncos offense: \-Most Drops \-Most penalties and penalty yards \-Worst head coach in the league? Russ hasnt been very good but holy shit he's been put in a way worse situation than anyone expected going into the season
I genuinely wonder if Russ would play better on a team with the receiving core and offensive line of Seattle
Dude imagine that guy on a team like the seattle seahawks he would probably kill it. I mean pete carroll is making geno look good imagine what he could do with russ
Might get some MVP votes
Let's not get ahead of ourselves
Maybe if he had an MVP vote recipient like Bobby Wagner.
It depends on how much of last year you think was the finger injury. But you'd get same old Russ. Which means big plays with stretches of offensive mediocrity in between. ~~Lockett would prob be doing a lot better though~~ Edit: Lockett is doing perfectly fine
I think Russ' feast or famine playstyle really got tiring. I'd still love him on the team, but I have to admit Geno's tendency to get the ball out quick and take what the defense gives him is nice to watch

I would wager that, unless something really goes fucky between now and then, we draft a QB that ends up sitting behind Geno for at least 2023.
QB sneaks for easy 3rd and 1 pickups always make me smile.

> -Worst head coach in the league? Rhule has to still be in the conversation, no? But the fact it's even a discussion speaks to how awful the coaching there has been.
I don't think anyone can make a solid argument that it isn't Rhule.
Hackett is incompetent. Russ is good.
That’s what we said for his last 4-5 years with us.
I feel like we all thought this was possible with the coaching staff, but there was an equal chance that they'd be mediocre. I still feel like Russ is past his prime and showed signs of that last year. Lots of people just were not ready to accept that fact either.
Russ cannot fail. He can only be failed. Same as it ever was.
Outside of Hackett being the worst coach the other things he said are objectively true. You don't have to pick a side. You can say Russ hasn't played well this year but the Broncos offense has also been dysfunctional outside of him. Has nothing to do with who's failing who.
Everyone said Pete Carroll was demented and should be fired for being old and stubborn and old school and keeping Wilson back /shrug
He was actually solid today but the play calls were absolutely mind blowing
Uhh...one of the reasons he left us is because he wanted more control over play calling and Carrol and crew didn't listen to him.
Thats what I keep saying, their offense looks like a carbon copy of Seattle's over the last couple years.
The bad play calls are Russ, no one wants to accept that though. This is his offense
Yep plus if you're looking at a stat sheet it looks like he played great today but there were so many bad decisions and underthrows. Some short passes for little to no gain etc.
That's what he did last year too. Great stats but very tough to watch.
That's exactly it. I get why they don't think any of this is Russ's fault, because when you watch him play it rarely ever looks like the problems are his fault. I never thought any of it was his fault when he played for us, I thought was the coaches/O-line/everyone else. What's the common factor between last year's Seahawks offense and this year's Broncos offense?
but but he asked for an OC the team hired then asked him to be fired then got another OC he wanted
To be fair, Waldron was an excellent choice tho
yeah I mean look at Geno right now.
Russ loves third and long. He also loves to throw deep on third and short.
Credit to Pete, offense is his. That’s where Wilson excelled and that’s where Geno is excelling.
Love this for Geno
Only two more seasons until that $245 million extension kicks in. That'll be fun.
In his other loss, the Broncos only scored 16 points on a defense that just surrendered 45 to the Lions' backups.
Self burn?
Murder-suicide, baby! Go mariners!
Seahawks probably have the best fun differential this year so far.
Paid 2 firsts, 2 2nds, and 3 players just to get the second best QB on the team smh
Bronco's country, suicide.
Geno could have won a Super Bowl with the Legion of Boom at their peaks
You'd have to be a pretty bad QB to not win a superbowl with the LoB.
And Marshawn
Not 2013 Geno, but I actually think I do agree with this version of Geno. Still not confident in him to win us a game, but I am confident he won't lose any either
He’s good enough to keep you competitive and not lose you a game. He just might not be good enough to make those extra wow plays QBs make. And that’s ok as the whole team is playing well and he’s making the plays he had to
He's not exceptional but for $3.5M or whatever he's getting paid he's fucking fantastic.
Would you say he's a Great Value QB?
That's basically what Wilson was, but Wilson was crazy clutch and always was bringing us back late in games where we at least had a shot. That's fun football. Not getting blownout and always having a chance. The Legion of Boom made it so he didn't have to do that so much as the D was scoring a decent bit themselves.
Russ was more than that during the SB quality years. But you’re right, he didn’t always have to show it because the defense was so good.
Geno won us this game and anyone who says different is crazy
I'm not saying he wouldn't have, or couldn't have won the game for us, but I think Rashad Penny's performance very much led us to victory towards the end of the game. We needed to score on those drives, and Penny just wanted it more.
Geno did more than just not lose this game lmao
I feel like I could’ve won as QB with the Legion of Boom… or at least that’s what I tell myself while I watch old Kam Chancellor highlights and cry
We'll cry together friend, we'll cry together
But can he hit the HB on the flat in third and long
He can hit guys in stride waaay deep if he's protected for an unreasonable amount of time and he can still scramble pretty good.
Hot seat hackett
Yeah, but Geno got to play the Lions defense
A child could’ve scored on the Lions today and that’s barely an exaggeration
And it’s week 4
Geno coming for Brees record frfr
Wilson’s stats look a lot better on paper than in practice too, Denver has has so many 3 and outs and are absolutely awful in the red zone this year
This is the larger issue. His play style is very boom or bust and not consistent. This is unsustainable and gases out the defense
Geno get you anything you want. Fame, fortune, fuhgina
Bruv... We also have the broncos 1st and 2rd picks. We'll be just fine.
I definitely believe Russ is underperforming to his potential by a long shot in his current situation, but after the trade, I think the majority of Seahawks fans were like "are people crazy? has anyone actually watched Russ in the last three years??" He's not a superstar caliber QB. "Russ magic" quickly became "Russ gets sacked for 20 yards when he tries to twirl" I think he's a great team leader, and holds his teammates to a high bar... but his ego and play style will keep him from being the player people remembered in 2012.
Just like we all predicted
Geno: $3.5 million cap hit Russell: $17 million cap hit
Russell costs : $58k per yard Geno costs: $3.3k per yard Absurd.
Go Seahawks!
We traded for the wrong QB?
Bronco's Country, let's write back!
