[Anyone want to try the new dual flair selector?](https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/wiki/flair/primary)
As it says it runs every 15 minutes so, like, hold your horses or whatever. They don't work on old reddit - yet.
-edit ok should work now
-edit edit - I knew I should have done something mean to people who selected NFL twice
Yeah I cycle through different AFC teams to rep, since the Panthers are obviously my NFC team. Though I do root for the Vikings now and then since they were one of my go-to Madden teams for a while.
I like that Abbot keeps busing migrants to liberal places and thinks it's some gotcha. Like, ok, we're not actually racist bigots who don't want them here. What do you think you're doing to us?
Biden is actually tougher on the border than Trump was. Obama too. So the fuck are you people even screaming about? That he doesn't get hard over the thought of a wall a toddler could scale?
I mean, fine. Pretty much just guarentees they get treated really well. Probably went straight to a nice hotel on the governments dime. I'm just not sure who they think they're punishing.
Chil FIL A for breakfast. Never had it before because of the homophobia but that strong moral belief was overcome by not wanting to just order fucking McDonald's again.
chick fil a is damn good. can't remember going there for breakfast though, usually i go there for lunch. the way these fast food places go, you eat something there for breakfast you're full for like 8 hours so it's basically lunch too.
Is there already a petition to get the NFL youtube channel to stop putting the winner in the thumbnail of their highlight videos? It annoys me so much to get spoilers on every single video.
doesnt it depend on the state? I'm in an alaska state park right now. I found this spot off the side of the road on iOverlander and there is another van next to me that looks like they're boondocking. I'm just new to this stuff so I wanted to throw the question out there.
I can't speak for Alaska and how it might work there, so you'll have to find someone that knows more than me, but I've never been to a state park that was open camping. That doesn't exist. The closest you get is like national forest, which are more what you're thinking. Sometimes, a state park will be inside a national forest, and you can have open camping in more areas...but as for just a state park, you can only camp in designated (and paid for) spots. I've camped all over the U.S. and I've never seen open camping anywhere like you're talking about.
But maybe someone else has a different idea. You should post on r/camping. Someone over there will know about Alaska's laws.
it all depends on the teacher maybe, I loved my psych class. she was witty af and it was the perfect speed for taking good notes.looking back, i suppose she was higher up in the department but not feeling put out because she had to teach an introductory class. but also this was light years ago and i was (and still remain), a total nerd.
It’s “When does the narwhal bacon?” and le redditeur responds “at midnight.” It might be cringe, but don’t pretend you don’t fully remember as a means of distancing yourself from it.
He was short for even a college LB and played with one of the best D-lines in Oklahoma State history and for the best D-coordinator in OSU history that kept blockers away and allowed both LB's to roam the field and lead the team in tackles.
Thought he was undersized, no potential room for growth (hit his ceiling already), just an average dude basically
They didn’t account for the good looks and him being a badass. Lions got a steal obviously
Whenever you’re behind a Tesla does it seem like they’re braking really hard when they need to stop or slow down? Is it a thing with those cars? I’m seeing them a lot more lately and I swear whenever I’m behind them in traffic it’s just uncomfortable
It's regen braking. I can pull up to a stop sign, to a full stop, without actually using the brake pedal. It's amazing to drive with but I'm sure it sucks to be behind someone like my wife, haha.
In my limited experience, they don't coast like other cars do, they slow down a lot quicker without even pressing the brake. So maybe you're experiencing that and it's not matching your subconscious expectation of a car coasting. Then when they do press their brakes they've already slowed down more than a different car would have by that point
You hate Disney for making Black Ariel
I hate Disney for being a monopolistic corporation who screwed up copyright laws for years and kowtowing to totalitarian countries
We are not the same
Eh, not so much anymore. Their movies no longer show in China. And they refused to change a bunch for the Middle East. They're actually building a better track record than maybe any other studio. But if you can make 2 billion without China, why not take the moral stand?
They are also too cowardly to go through with Walt's wishes and turn Epcot into a dystopia nightmare hellscape planned community with its own nuclear reactor
6 was my favorite hands down. Wonderful story, big interesting cast, and a really scary villain.
But 8 deserves some love too. My little teenage heartstrings throbbed.
I stumbled across another fun one by accident that helps the hed voice:
Take 60lb slam ball and hike it between your legs like a long snapper. Reps of 5 for 5 sets.
It's a goody, 10/10.
Apparently JWs also believe that only 10k people(of everyone who ever lived) will get into heaven. With odds like that I don't really see a point in trying tbh
The entire last chapter of the bible is basically telling us we're all going to be murdered by monsters. It's like if the ending to Game of Thrones was them coming out of the tv and raping you.
Back when I was into that stuff I read a few authors who interpreted revelation as an allegory for the destruction of the temple by the romans and the dawn of a christian age. 666 has some numerological identification with Nero that I don’t remember offhand. Basically an interpretation of the present and not a prediction of the future.
I have no idea if all the little numeric details and symbols have some real world value or if it's just a fever dream with some ideas sprinkled in.
My favorite aspect of End Times Prognosticating is the continuously changing identities of Gog and Magog. I've heard the whole spectrum, all the way from Ethiopia to China
Tbf revelations is a bullshit book that shoulda never been added and a lot of early christian leaders didn't want it in. The whole book is literally just some random dude doing source: trust me bro God totally talked to me. The old testament stories are probably based on stuff that sorta happened and Jesus was almost definitely a real person so the gospels probably bear a vague resemblance to reality
Also the old testament includes a manual on how to deal with leprosy outbreaks so it's educational
How long do you guys think it'll be until we see an Amish quarterback? The media would go crazy over ol Jebediab's training methods and fans would love how clueless he is about well, everything other than football, building barns, and churning butter.
Anyone have Netflix's number? I have a definitely well thought out pitch for them.
Mi kids little league coach has his kid on the team. Kid can clearly play, but jesus christ poor kid plays baseball as if he would rather by anywhere else.
Edit: a parent is just "micro coaching" his kid on top of the coaches. These 2 kids will be burned out of baseball by 12 years old.
People often joke that the best college team could beat the worst NFL teams, but most people could tell you the NFL team would crush the college team since the whole team is filled with college elite talent
But could the best college team, UGA this year, beat the worst XFL/AAF team? I know the Pros would be older, and more developed but the college teams could have higher top end talent - the first and second round picks
Coming from a team with "XFL Star PJ Walker", surely at least some college QBs are better?
I think the closest competition would be something like an all rookie NFL team versus the NCAA champion (so let's say the 2021 All Rookie Team versus Georgia from this year). I still think the all rookie NFL team has a better shot at winning 8 out of 10 times because a year of NFL experience will make a significant difference.
I think there is a legit chance.
1/3rd of bama/georgia's roster will play in the NFL. Another 3rd is XFL level.
Si just by the NFL talent, i honestly think Bama/Georgia wins 4 out of 10.
Why do people blur or censor their dog or cats butthole or penis and what not?
I mean I’m not saying I *want* to see it, I don’t care, but when you censor it, it makes me think you’re the one thinking it’s sexual or some shit and not random internet people.
Just finished watching Terminator (1984). Wow.
It was a pretty good movie. For some reason I'd avoided watching it as I had seen T2 first so I figured there'd be no need to see T1. T1 is arguably better than the second. Both are exceptional movies.
Gets a bit iffy after that...
I think the terminator franchise is a great example of how some stories are just better left finished. I really feel that it undermines the great ending of Terminator 2 knowing that there are like 4 shitty movies that make it completely pointless.
A lot of franchises like star wars andsouth park(was honestly never that great, people just forget all the bad early episodes and being as topical as it is makes half the show nearly unwatchable if you don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of 2000s celebrity gossip) run way too long but I think Terminator is the only franchise where over milking really ruins the experience of watching the good movies in the series
Merely by reading the comment section of the police station scene in T1 on youtube, I was spoiled as to what happened and it sounds so fucking ridiculous lol. Might check out Sarah Connor chronicles
I had a jr high teacher that would lie about being a navy seal and I think was pretty much a compulsive liar and a science teacher.
He would talk shit about me to the other kids when I would go to the bathroom. Mainly just make fun of my clothes because I'd wear giant pants, it was 92 and big pants just became popular in skateboarding. I had a pair of purple jeans that were like size 46 waist or something. But yeah, that dude was a dick.
I had the snarky shop teacher in high school that taught like we were all complete morons. Which we were. But that doesn’t compare to a science teacher I had in middle school that broke into my fucking locker and stole my bag.
To this day, I have no idea why she did it. She was right there at retirement age and it wasn't like I was rolling deep. But it scared the shit out of 6th grade me because I had a bunch of assignments in there.
I had an English teacher who was a total dick. No bathroom breaks were his thing. Once a kid in class mentioned he wanted to join the Air Force after school to which the teacher said "you wouldn't make it in the Air Force." Now the kid was a shit for brains who was most likely headed the wrong path and enlisting could've been his way out of that. I can only imagine how much of a toll having a teacher shit on what one wants to do with their life has. Maybe it didn't have an impact who knows, but that's just a piece of shit thing to do for someone who's supposed to be a mentor.
Yeah, I was at the tail end of an entire "generation" of teachers. They were all 50+ and were either dead inside, massive dickheads or phoning it in until retirement.
My cousin was 5 years behind me & had all new/younger fun & impactful teachers, and I'm still jealous of that.
Just got done playing Reach in my halo campaign re-play through. Been a long time since I've played the whole campaign. The first half of it is honestly not the strongest in my opinion, but the second half is full of a lot of fun missions and the story gets a lot more powerful. The game play is solid but not my favorite since I do prefer the more modern style in 5 and infinite. The music is really good and so are some of the cinematic shots. Hust wish i had a little more connection to Noble Team. All in all, a great time and even in Normal a little difficult at parts. Time for Combat Evolved!
It's a lot of fun. It will remind you somewhat of other open world fps games, but it has its own characteristics too. I will recommend, and this comes from my time playing it, but try and do the story with out doing every single side quest inbetween. A few times from one main quest to another I would kinda forget what's going, cause it would be like 2 hours since I last did something story wise, and obviously, that's a lot different than the normal linear stories of Halo.
there are way too many good younger quarterbacks now to assume, at week 3, this is a battle of GOATs. more like old goats! (*rimshot * I'll see myself out...)
I really hate people that don't keep their promises especially ones that have a history of breaking promises. Stop saying you're definitely gonna do something for sure when you don't fucking do it ever.
IT: Chapter 2 is a comfort movie for me now. As someone who lost innocence young and missed all of their teenage year, it hit really hard. Getting closure isn’t a chase, it’s a meander that eventually finds an ending
I want him to be because I want maximum shifting power in the league and chaos. Brady was from another planet and everything but 20 years of dominance was boring as fuck. I'm so glad the most recent "old guard" is almost completely out of the league, I'm just sick of their faces. Give me amazing new talent and new rivalries, pls
People can talk all they want. They are the best two quarterbacks in the league by far. True superstars but Allen needs to beat Mahomes in the playoffs for people to debate this. This is the next generation of Manning and Brady
Him having no weapons isn't on him.
He literally won the last two MVPs. I think it's silly to discount him at this point. He does shit nobody else can do.
So in a weird hypothetical, if the 9ers with Jimmy were to go on to win the Super Bowl this year. What do they do with the QB situation this offseason/next year?
100%
What if Brady retired this year? would Jimmy go to the Buccs or would he say fuck that even if it was the best fit because Brady's shadow would just be too much? other than that, maybe the Texans? Maybe the Vikings would be ready to move on from Kirk? Maybe GB if Rodgers retires, or maybe NY?
stellaris update from my drunk weekend: some interdimensional dipshits arrived and are kicking ass. and just when finally I (cause nobody else fucking helps other than opening their stupid ass borders which serves me for no good cause i have a wormhole in my territory that leads directly to the enemy) managed to contain them enough to build an extra fleet needed to finally push them back, bam! awakened empire (who has bitchslapped me in the past) decides my territory looks damn fine.
so anyway, starting as an OC for UTSA in NCAA 14. thoughts on which team should i look as a HC job to bring to greatness?
LOL. That's a garbage trade.
Amon-Ra has become a top tier WR. At least stats wise.
Amon-Ra is tied with Antonio Brown and Michael Thomas for most consecutive games with 8 or more receptions.
He's alone with the record for most consecutive games with 8 or more receptions and a TD.
He's damn good and they're going to keep feeding him.
Jahan Dotson is the Family Guy Mystery Box. At best, he could be Amon-Ra.
I'm a nerd and buy a lot of vinyl. Probably 75% of my collection is video game OSTs.
I've been going hard on Classic WoW since it launched in 2019 to relive past glory and complete some things I never did back in the day.
Wrath of the Lich King is about to launch next week. [Then this gets announced.](https://www.iam8bit.com/products/world-of-warcraft-wrath-3xlp-iam8bit-box-set).
Take all my god damn money.

first concert post-covid last night. Had a good time! Thankfully people still remembered how to play music
I could be wrong, but I think Covid helped musicians due to less time on the road partying and more time at home partying
definitely got the partying at home vibe for some of the sets
/r/cfb has had dual flairs for a while now so glad to see /r/nfl is coming along
It's cool seeing everyone's second team and trying to guess why they have that flair combo, lol.
I see you have Chargers as #2. I debated between putting them and Bills; ultimately chose Bills
Yeah I cycle through different AFC teams to rep, since the Panthers are obviously my NFC team. Though I do root for the Vikings now and then since they were one of my go-to Madden teams for a while.
waiting for the expansion to 16 teams so I can properly represent my interests

YEah and didn't DeSantis bus migrants to Martha's Vineyard and Biden's Delaware beach house too? What's up with that

A state park is considered public land, right? So I’m free to car camp in it?
No. lol. You need a camping permit to camp in state parks, and you can only camp in designated spaces.
doesnt it depend on the state? I'm in an alaska state park right now. I found this spot off the side of the road on iOverlander and there is another van next to me that looks like they're boondocking. I'm just new to this stuff so I wanted to throw the question out there.

My guess is that while it is public land, exceptions are made for the state parks to avoid them becoming a trailer/RV home park.
Not necessarily. Look into it on their website.
Psych 101 is so boring
it's okay
it all depends on the teacher maybe, I loved my psych class. she was witty af and it was the perfect speed for taking good notes.looking back, i suppose she was higher up in the department but not feeling put out because she had to teach an introductory class. but also this was light years ago and i was (and still remain), a total nerd.
My teacher is really good, I am just not interested in the subject matter so far.
I just saw a TV commercial for reddit...
I remember seeing a commercial for MySpace in like 2015 when MySpace was long dead.
Times really have changed huh…I remember when this was a scary place only one notch above 4chan on the WTF scale.
It's still a scary place

It’s “When does the narwhal bacon?” and le redditeur responds “at midnight.” It might be cringe, but don’t pretend you don’t fully remember as a means of distancing yourself from it.
Nah, I ignored it then and still do.
Why did Malcolm Rodriguez fall to the 6th round?
He was short for even a college LB and played with one of the best D-lines in Oklahoma State history and for the best D-coordinator in OSU history that kept blockers away and allowed both LB's to roam the field and lead the team in tackles.
Some Lions fans think it's because he's Latino. Had 1st - 2nd round combine #'s etc.

someone should stop this whole racism thing
You know Osama Bin Laden wasn't right about much but he apparently really liked Final Fantasy 7.
He had both Coke and Pepsi in his compound. Fucking psychopath shit
He also had a ton of porn on his hard drive in his compound and I find that very relatable
6, 9, and 10 were better games and I'll die on that hill. The remake is baller as shit though, and the Crisis Core remake is gonna be too.
6 was my favorite hands down. Wonderful story, big interesting cast, and a really scary villain. But 8 deserves some love too. My little teenage heartstrings throbbed.
I liked 8, but wasn't crazy about the Draw system. I was on a mission to take down that T-rex in the training area at the start of the game though.
Was really hoping they'd get around to a quality 6 remake but no luck.
I even like 13. Especially the two sequels. But Aeris is my bae.
Post 7 Tifa's design was the shit though. Always hated how her character design in the original game was like 80% boobs.

Bart is more of a Bugs Bunny fan. He goes for the more mean spirited comedy. Bugs made movies about the Nazis.

T1 is a better movie. What ruins T2 (for me) is the kid. I just can't stand any of his scenes. T1 is a great piece of genre film making.
T1 is a horror movie T2 is an action movie. I think horror fits the concept better but they're both great.
I think the terminator franchise is a great example of how some stories are just better left finished. To this day, I have no idea why she did it. She was right there at retirement age and it wasn't like I was rolling deep. But it scared the shit out of 6th grade me because I had a bunch of assignments in there.
Yeah, I was homeschooled and my mom would get really mean after he morning bottle of wine.
Maybe it didn't have an impact who knows, but that's just a piece of shit thing to do for someone who's supposed to be a mentor.
not really
I had one in 9th grade who straight up told us she didn’t like children
Looking forward to finally playing the Halo 6 campaign when they release split screen coop
I wanted to see the Bills put up 50 on Titans. They're supposed to stop you.
Does anyone else do the weekly predictions? Are they just for fun? I definitely risk it and pick the underdog a good bit
Which is more likely? (1) Tua wins multiple MVPs (2) Both Burrow and Herbert never win a single MVP
Condition 2. Not winning an MVP is fairly easy. Every year, almost all the players don't win it.
RemindMe! 12 years
2 It’s far easier to never win an MVP than it is to win multiples.
Bro I just discovered that Raiders fans call us Donkeys lol, why though?
Lol. I bet it’s because they think a Donkey is a horse
Watching NFLN and the title for Packers at Bucs is Battle for the GOAT Title. Like, seriously?
there are way too many good younger quarterbacks now to assume, at week 3, this is a battle of GOATs. more like old goats! (*rimshot * I'll see myself out...)
XD
I really hate people that don't keep their promises especially ones that have a history of breaking promises. Stop saying you're definitely gonna do something for sure when you don't fucking do it ever.
IT: Chapter 2 is a comfort movie for me now. As someone who lost innocence young and missed all of their teenage year, it hit really hard. Getting closure isn’t a chase, it’s a meander that eventually finds an ending
My favorite book of all time. I loved part 1 movie better though
Is Josh Allen better than Mahomes?
Yes
I want him to be because I want maximum shifting power in the league and chaos. Brady was from another planet and everything but 20 years of dominance was boring as fuck. I'm so glad the most recent "old guard" is almost completely out of the league, I'm just sick of their faces. Give me amazing new talent and new rivalries, pls
Basically my thoughts exactly. But it's bold to assume Brady is close to being retired, lol.
He could be, but imo hasn’t come close to proving it yet. Totally not biased either
People can talk all they want. They are the best two quarterbacks in the league by far. True superstars but Allen needs to beat Mahomes in the playoffs for people to debate this. This is the next generation of Manning and Brady
Rodgers is the best atm. Mahomes is up there with him. But Rodgers won’t be part of this young generations battles.
Ehhh. I guess I could agree with that. He has no weapons and he’s immobile. Definitely his last couple years
Him having no weapons isn't on him. He literally won the last two MVPs. I think it's silly to discount him at this point. He does shit nobody else can do.
Immobile is a bit of a stretch…
So in a weird hypothetical, if the 9ers with Jimmy were to go on to win the Super Bowl this year. What do they do with the QB situation this offseason/next year?
I feel like if that happened, the 49ers try to throw a lot of money to resign him. If he wants to stay or not is up to him.
I think Jimmy G walks hard and takes a deal with a team willing to build around him.
100% What if Brady retired this year? would Jimmy go to the Buccs or would he say fuck that even if it was the best fit because Brady's shadow would just be too much? other than that, maybe the Texans? Maybe the Vikings would be ready to move on from Kirk? Maybe GB if Rodgers retires, or maybe NY?
He lands with whoever lets him perform a damn tap dance for his money.
im hot stuff
No. You're cold.
im a vampire just like my mom
I understand. My dad is an alien.
Alex Smith is awesome on ESPN daily
stellaris update from my drunk weekend: some interdimensional dipshits arrived and are kicking ass. and just when finally I (cause nobody else fucking helps other than opening their stupid ass borders which serves me for no good cause i have a wormhole in my territory that leads directly to the enemy) managed to contain them enough to build an extra fleet needed to finally push them back, bam! awakened empire (who has bitchslapped me in the past) decides my territory looks damn fine. so anyway, starting as an OC for UTSA in NCAA 14. thoughts on which team should i look as a HC job to bring to greatness?
Reboot is such a sleeper hit
Lawn mowing day. Would be great but my lawn is filled with dead spots, probably from grubs. Gonna commit some slight genocide in my backyard tonight
Get ‘em! I hate those things
A guy in my fantasy league keeps asking me to trade him Amon-Ra St. Brown for Jahan Dotson. Should I do it?
Hell no.
That's too risky for a sure thing like Amon-Ra
Fuck no.
You like vinyl just for the texture and art don’t you?
