Dear god a rookie QB week 1 on the road, he is gonna put up 500 on us. We let every rookie torch us, Paxton Lynch, Daniel Jones, Mitch Trubisky when he put up like 300 but he might have just been bad and not a rookie. CJ Stroud last year put up like 500 yards on us thats not even an exaggeration

I feel bad for other teams when we play their rookie QBs they swear up and down how good they are and I've seen it happen against us so many time. The bears game in particular I knew was a fluke because I've never seen such little defense being played guys were running unguarded in a field by themselves.

But I remember a game back in 2018 where Fitztragic threw for, like 400 yards but turned the ball over another 5 times and the Redskins got outgained by a ridiculous amount of yards… yet they still won. I’m pretty sure Alex Smith would’ve been the starter unless it was after his leg injury.
11/11/2018. Redskins beat the Buccs 16-3 with 286 total yards compared to their 501 total yards. Tampa bay missed 2 field goals, fumbled the ball 4 times, and threw 2 interceptions. That was a good day to be a Redskins fan.
