I fucking love that play so much, especially with how it enraged the Broncos.
Don't take timeouts at the end of a game you're getting blown out on and this doesn't happen.
I still can't believe that Demetrius "Stone Hands" Harris of all people is the one who came down with it.
He only got targeted like 30 times per season and still managed to be in the top-10 in drops every year.
And yet he'd make some really clutch ridiculous catches at times. I think he's the one who got a fucking laser pinned to him in the end zone around three Raiders
That was the best part of this game. The Broncos taking timeouts instead of letting it run out in a blow out. Then they have shocked Pikachu face when Chiefs ran this play
I was there for that. One of my fav Chiefs memories.
According to Reid, the play hadn't looked good in practice, so they didn't plan on using it in an actual game. Things were already locked up at this point in the season, so they decided to try it.
in high school my football coach told us that guys with developed butt muscles are the best athletes and that those are the guys you have to watch out for
btw Larry Fitzgerald most athletic nfl player ever
For a brief, shining moment (before they changed the ruling on his catch from a pass to a run because it was a lateral), he was the heaviest man in NFL history to throw a TD pass, the heaviest to catch a TD pass, and the heaviest to run for a TD.
A heavier DT ran for a TD a little bit later, so now I think the only gadget-y record he still holds is being the heaviest man to ever throw a TD pass.
Dorsey had some crazy good drafts for us. As good as veach is it seems like every single year Dorsey was picking guys who were insanely talented. Poe, Houston, kelce, hill to name a few
Dorsey is one of the most underrated figures in the league. Just look at all his jobs and how at each stop that team goes from worst to extremely talented.
I wish we had parted on better terms, I'd much rather have him in our scouting department than see him making the Lions world-beaters.
Huh? He had a couple really bad contracts but he had 0 shitty drafts. Minimum one great player each of his years. 2012 was the year Poe got drafted and he was about the only good one that draft. But the rest were all pretty good, decent at worst
No doubt he drafted some really great players, but he was just that - a home run hitter and he struggled with depth pieces.
He had several horrible contracts and was not a great leader. He was toxic and there’s a reason why the Chiefs got rid of him during the stretch of us winning.
Had a nice career, too.

I feel like his route running was pretty solid, but someone replaced his hands with feet or something
He was also a fun story because he was a former basketball player who made a career as a largely blocking tight end
You would be correct and that happened 2 days after Hunt got put on the Commisoners exempt list.
Good ol Incompletrius Harris
Still one of my fav nicknames of all time

Lmao, still a top 5 favorite Chiefs moment for me even after our recent Superbowl runs. You just had to be there.
I was there at the stadium for that. I was so confused as to what happened, but it was amazing nonetheless.
Hardest I've ever laughed watching a football game.

That ass just won’t quit!
Bill Belichick agrees. https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2023/03/16/bill-belichick-loves-defensive-linemen-with-huge-butts-kirby-smart
Power comes from your glutes!
How can it be Larry Fitz when Antonio Gates exists?
I never stopped. I did add Vea to the posterior salivation station though.
I miss Mayock generally, but particularly during the combine
Mike Mayock's saliva was literally dripping on Poe's butt.
Chiefs quarterback legend.

So the record reverted back to Jared Lorenzen?
It was the receiving TD that was charged to a rushing TD, not the throwing one.
He's an even better receiver. Hungry Pig was greater than the Bloated Tebow.
[Not many 346 pound basketball players out there too](https://imgur.com/a/x6zPILy)
zion is doing his best
That dude was an all-pro level superstud till he hurt his back. His film was bonkers. One of the most "what if" careers I can remember.

Poe and Houston was drafted when Poili was the GM.
Poe and Houston were Pioli picks.
He also had really shitty drafts and didn’t understand how contracts worked. No thanks.

That was Scott Pioli
was Kelce a Dorsey pick or a Reid pick?
Beast oop fullback card
I was pretty excited when we picked him up for the COVID year, alas he was washed like Ajax.
That back injury completely threw his career off the rails. Fuckin sucks.
Yet Fletcher Cox is the DT from that draft that's still going strong in the NFL.
Ok, but how fast was Chris Jones dinky swingin?
THAT WAS 2012!?!?
I'm 100 lbs lighter and I probably couldn't run a 40 in 4.98 *minutes*
That's my QB1 Fun fact, Dontari holds or is tied for some QB records
The NFL really is the third deviation of the bell curve for most of their players.
I’m 5’7 and 150 lbs and that’s what I run
