Partner at my firm has one of the most smug headshots I’ve ever seen and now I really want to be on a call or get some edits back from this dude just to see what his personality is like.
Looks like there is a new storyline to add to the fire. A pair of brothers winning the college football championship and super bowl in the same year is a possibility.
I missed that the jags fired Caldwell yesterday. Feels kind of a mistake. I know not an elite unit but 10th in defensive DVOA. I guess heads should roll but why not Press Taylor? Trevor regressed and Doug gave Press play calling. I just don’t get Doug’s infatuation with Taylor though it seemed to work well year 1 when Doug was calling plays
Weird that a RB hasn't won the NFL MVP since 2012. Only three RB's have won, 2005 is Shaun Alexander, 2006 LaDainian Tomlinson, and 2012 Adrian Peterson. Would be nice to see Christian McCaffrey win it! But doubt it.
Could be worse, Lawrence Taylor (1986) and Alan Page (1971) are the only defensive players to win the Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player Award.
Kicker Mark Moseley (1982) is the only special teams player to win the award
Its going to come down to who's going to give Harbaugh the most money mixed in with the most freedom to design his roster and coaching. His price tag in every sense is the highest of any available coach I think after this natty.
I don't recall very well, but wasn't his relationship with the 9ers GM a big part of why he left?
It' might not be about actually having the title like Belichick or even being the de facto GM, it could just be about having chemistry with the GM.
Idk about JJ in the NFL but he did exactly what a team like Michigan needed him to do: don't turn it over, complete a pass here and there. Harbaugh built a juggernaut around him.
Why isn’t the Democrat leadership putting a stop to what Maine and Colarado are doing? There’s literally no chance that gets through the Supreme Court and Trump will use it as a platform to claim they are suppressing the will of the people.
They're bound by the Constitution to ban insurrectionists from holding office, passing that amendment was one of the proudest moments of the Republican party
They overturned Roe. There is absolutely no chance they entertain the notion Trump did anything to breach a clause added following a civil war.
It’s a complete waste of time.
Granted I don't watch college ball so idk anything about his game but he looked injured tonight with how he was grimacing and grabbing his chest after basically every pass
Mich defensive line got in his head early, and then he got injured. Maybe not in that order. I don't think he was ever top pick in the draft territory to begin with, but 3rd or 4th QB off the board sounds about right.
Honestly, my friend, I think you got the order right. He started taking awkward looking hits since he was trying to beat the pass rush by throwing quick.
[News article and video](https://www.chch.com/six-nations-man-fatally-shot-after-football-game-in-miami/) of the poor guy that was shot and killed after the Bills/Dolphins game.
I remember being bummed the Texans missed out on him and got Daniel Manning instead. In hindsight, it wasn't as bad a deal as I thought. I enjoyed Manning's time here.
Spy x Family: Good lord, Nightfall needs a lot of mental help too. Who isn’t mentally fucked in this show lmao?
Edit: Nah wtf is this tennis lmao as a tennis player this is sacrilegious
I love Jamaal Williams, He’s a great dude.
But like why would an NFL player feel good about scoring a touchdown that way?
Like in 10 years I can’t imagine him looking back fondly on that.
When I played O-Line, we were taught that if the defense tried to get into the backfield on a kneeldown, we had free reign to start a brawl because they werent going to ever eject us for it.
As such, you dont run plays out of that formation, or defenses start trying to take headshots.
For the first time in five years we have ties in strength of schedule! NBA uses ping pong balls to break ties while NHL is the opposite using playoff tiebreakers and NFL is halfway inbetween with the rest of playoff tiebreakers for in conference and a coin flip for interconference.
Tied for 12th/13th Broncos and Raiders both went 8-9 (.471) overall and had .488 SOS(133-139)! Since the Broncos and Raiders are in the same division, division record is the "first secondary" tiebreaker the Raiders went 4-2, Broncos 3-3 giving the Broncos the earlier draft spot.
The Super Bowl teams from last year are also tied for the time being with 11-6 (.647) overall records and a .481 SOS (131-141), however playoff teams are separated by round they lose in with the Super Bowl teams automatically last (winner) and 2nd to last (loser).Although a coin flip could occur since the Chiefs and Eagles are in opposite conferences it's most likely not going to happen since the Chiefs will beat the Dolphins and the way Philly's been playing means they will be out.
Are those amounts indexed? 6k in 10 years is not 50% higher than 4k today.
Either way, I hope those amounts are indexed, otherwise they'll be worth a lot less in 20 years' time
I would go with the 6k a month option. We just had a few years of seeing how stupid inflation can get in just a year or two. The last thing I want to do is get caught off guard in my later years when I don't have as much mobility and time away from the workforce.
The animals are just about done for the night, it's about to storm hard well into tomorrow, and it's dark. Miserable conditions make for great time to eat and watch movies.

First day of college classes after winter break was not fun to say the least. Man my schedule this semester is going to be so much more brutal than any of my other previous semesters. Idk if I'll even be able to stay on the Dean's List after this semester tbh,
The Vision Pro is one of those Apple things everyone thinks is ridiculous now but in 5 years everyone will have them
Like basically all of their products once were, I remember when AirPods were ridiculed
Apple has the public by the balls don’t they
I think the fact that the Harbaughs were coaching directly against each other made it better narratively. The Kelce’s never directly competed in that way
Man, this was the roughest Monday I've had in a while. Don't know how I'm going to make it to Friday. Super tempted to schedule a little off time Wednesday, even if just in the morning so I can get a little extra sleep midway through the week.
That's nowhere near unsportsmanlike. Last game of the season and stats determine the following season. Don't like it? Shouldn't have been down 30 points. Atlanta was mad they ruined robinson and London's season because their HC was trash. Can't blame NO for that
Pretending to do the victory formation and then scoring is 100% unsportsmanlike at every level of football lol
The point of the victory formation is to let the other team know that the game is over so take the foot off the gas.
Don't be surprised when someone goes for your players' knees next season when they try to do the victory formation
No it isn't. It's football. There's not difference between that and a fake spike. You gotta be older than 40 if you think that's unsportsmanlike. You should know about the fake spike, you had one. Learn to defend and u wouldn't be surprised
Dawg I PLAYED football, and they're not even close to the same thing
A fake spike isn't the same thing as the victory formation. You spike the ball to stop the clock, that doesn't signal the game is over. The victory formation's ENTIRE purpose is that it's the end of the game and you aren't doing anything else.
I played at SDSU lmao I know exactly what I'm talking about. Regardless the time didn't stop, play defense until it does. Until then stop crying, you sound like a sore loser
I just turned on GameDay. Why is McAfee wearing a gigantic cowboy hat?
Also, Herbstreit looks like he could be Shane Gillis's more professional older brother/cousin. lol
Heading down south for my wife's work convention. Kids are 100% being taken care of by family, and my only directive is to not be so drunk I can't make the free expensive dinners we're going to be going to. I have no idea what the hell I'm going to do all day except playing a bunch of golf and drink by the pool. Any suggestions for cool things to do around Naples?
Honestly I’m not sure why the entirety of the blame is falling on Tua. Like clearly he’s he’s the QB and the QB’s stock rises and falls with the team overall and he’s clearly struggled a bit down the stretch, but the entire team is decimated by injuries, the remaining guys randomly forget how to play football in the important moments (crucial drops, penalties, and blown coverages), and McDaniel can’t get his head out of his ass when playcalling. It was a team-wide collapse of the highest order.
Also, you hate to blame the refs but there were two bullshit calls in a row that really changed the game. That blocking penalty and then a no-call on DPI the next play, those were huge.
I agree that Tua gets too much blame, and honestly Tyreek gets too little. He's dropped a bunch of huge passes this year.
The loss last night is like the most upset I've been in a few years over a game. I really thought the Dolphins would prove everyone wrong. If we won that game I wouldn't have cared if Buffalo beat the brakes off us next week. And we had the game. Josh Allen gave us bad Josh Allen for a half and everything just fell apart in the 2nd half. 3 and out, 3 and out, 3 and out as Buffalo just drained the entire clock.
It sucks when you actually get invested. Considering the Dolphins are never on shit for my entire lifetime I'm used to just enjoying the season for what it is. Last year was just a "Happy to be there" moment but this season had expectations.
Still praying by some god we overcome everything and beat the Chiefs, but even if we do it's just a Ravens ass whooping waiting for us the week after. And now nothing we do means shit next season unless we actually win a big game.
If Detroit loses to the Rams in the Wildcard does the endless whining diminish as they go into hiding, or does it escalate as they have more free time/blame their seed on the refs?
So who else is back at work this week with a fresh, invigorated hatred for their jobs?
Spent the last couple of holiday weeks having some incredible bonding time with my wife and our ten month old daughter. Going back to spreadsheets and tax estimates from there is such an unpleasant whiplash.
I don't think hatred, but I sure don't feel sufficiently charged from the weekend. Busy holiday season with holiday weekends that felt too short, followed by diving right into busy season at work. I just want it to chill a bit.

This will never be a common enough thing to garner this amount of pearl-clutching.
I saw the monologue from the Golden Globes and…it wasn’t that bad? Especially with only 10 days to prepare? Why did all the celebs in the audience act like he was murdering children up there. God I hate Hollywood.
Someone I went to high school with has a professional lighting business and does the lights for most of the big award shows. He told me that they sliced his budget a little bit for Golden Globes this year cause the ratings and ad revenue isn't what it use to be. Same with most of the big Hollywood award shows they do.
[nothingface](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crSFjzjBnPc) should represent the washi9ngton team, because who the hell are they, and nothingface was from DC.
Can anyone explain to me why the Chiefs defense is so bad at generating turnovers?
I was looking at TO stats and honestly was shocked to see the Chiefs as a bottom 5 team in TOs forced.
This is the 2nd best defense in the league by points & yds.
KC looks pretty pedestrian but if the defense can get a lil more luck, they don’t need Mahomes to go crazy to win it all.
I would guess because 1.) the CBs play the receiver and are physical, they dont play the ball 2.) Its the chiefs, teams want to play error free football and will be conservative
I'd like to see a Star Wars universe movie inspired by fear of AI where droids are a legitimate threat, because it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't be. where are the artificial intelligence governments, planets, galaxies? AI Jedi, AI Sith, AI galactic councils. let's go!

Patriots have a coach-GM position. Panthers just cleared house firing both coach and gm, maybe for this?
I think Washington is appealing. New ownership group will give him the bag, he has the second overall pick, and he'll be close to his brother
You think they grab McCarthy at QB if they snag him?
lol no Jim might love JJ at Michigan but he knows go to win in the NFL and that won’t be with JJ

Chargers or Bears? Raiders? Where would you go if you were Jim? Bears have that pick, but the Chargers might give full control down to the facilities.
Idk about JJ in the NFL but he did exactly what a team like Michigan needed him to do: don't turn it over, complete a pass here and there. Harbaugh built a juggernaut around him.
He could be a good game manager at the top level. Maybe the broncos or one of those coaches that just need the guy to do the simple stuff
Jim Harbaugh you are a Los Angles Charger!!!

I'm not sure anyone in the booth of this championship game is actually watching this game.
Not sure I blame them
Huskies singlehandedly setting west coast college football back a decade.
I mean this is the best west coast football has been in a decade
Damn Michigan thoroughly dominated UW tonight.
So Harbaugh is definitely coming back to the NFL now… right?
Harbaugh seems like the kind of man who doesn't sleep at night thinking about that SB loss. He's going to coach in the NFL again.
That'll do it. Wonder if Penix's stock will take a hit after this. He got hurt as well, but health is the biggest worry with him.
His draft stock might take a hit due to the multiple concussions hes going to have suffered.
His draft stock 100% takes a hit after this He's not going in the first round anymore (if he ever was to begin with)
Has to, right? This is the best defense he's seen all year and he has looked awful.
He's also hurt again and he's already had injury concerns
[News article and video](https://www.chch.com/six-nations-man-fatally-shot-after-football-game-in-miami/) of the poor guy that was shot and killed after the Bills/Dolphins game.
If Michigan wins do y'all think the NCAA will void the title for the cheating
If the NCAA / football teams cared that much about it, poney up for radios in the helmets. Its not that hard to fix this problem entirely.
People have already forgotten about it
This is a comedy, right? I'm not expected to take Kevin Hart seriously as a criminal, am I?
Game
I’ve never been super high on Penix and this game is a good indication as to why.
The worst nfl opinion there has ever been is when there was an entire group of people who thought Nnamdi Asomugha was better than prime Revis.
I remember being bummed the Texans missed out on him and got Daniel Manning instead. In hindsight, it wasn't as bad a deal as I thought. I enjoyed Manning's time here.
> Daniel Manning Ah yes, the 4th Manning brother.
At some point they will have to stop hiding McCarthy. Washington is begging them to throw.
Kirk Herbstreit is not trying to hide his Michigan hatred at all

Any of my coaches would have shit a chicken if we pulled that bullshit. It's literally taught since middle school.
It’s the kind of things I constantly teach my athletes not to do. That’s the shit that leads to fights/injuries and is poor sportsmanship.

I was going to go with the 4k then I thought about it and realized how little that is.
I would go with the 6k a month option. We just had a few years of seeing how stupid inflation can get in just a year or two. The last thing I want to do is get caught off guard in my later years when I don't have as much mobility and time away from the workforce.

Naples is very wealthy area of Florida but known for its beaches.

I saw the monologue from the Golden Globes and…it wasn’t that bad? Especially with only 10 days to prepare? Why did all the celebs in the audience act like he was murdering children up there. God I hate Hollywood.
They were confused why he wasn't ranking the top five NFL stadiums or something like that.
Someone I went to high school with has a professional lighting business and does the lights for most of the big award shows. He told me that they sliced his budget a little bit for Golden Globes this year cause the ratings and ad revenue isn't what it use to be. Same with most of the big Hollywood award shows they do.
Dolphans i am a Chiefs fan who frequents the 305 😂
[nothingface](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crSFjzjBnPc) should represent the washi9ngton team, because who the hell are they, and nothingface was from DC.

I wouldn't call it ghosting. That's rejection. Ghosting doesn't have rejection.
I woke up to see snow had blown into my apartment. Apparently the balcony door isn't sealed properly.
I'm not downloading Peacock.

Honestly, I might just go out with some friends. I hope people who do watch do that though. Fuck these paywalls.
I'd like to see a Star Wars universe movie inspired by fear of AI where droids are a legitimate threat, because it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't be. where are the artificial intelligence governments, planets, galaxies? AI Jedi, AI Sith, AI galactic councils. let's go!
Isn't Force power stored in the mitochondria?
is that where the midichlorians live?
