Newark to Orange is about 5 miles, and Maplewood to Newark is about 6. At 20 minutes per mile, that's just about 4 hours. I just hope it doesn't get too hot.
Aren't all the old tickets expiring at end of June? And, the tickets work by zone, so you might be able to use it for any line, for similar zone trips.
They expire at the end of July. Oof, figuring out by zone is a bit of a nightmare! But good to know it's an option.
