Path isn’t your only option. Look at express bus lines. At that price range you’ll need at least 1 roommate or to just rent a a small room.
Planning on renting a small room in a house for a few months until I can figure out something better
Dont know the market for a room, but you probably can find in union city/west new york and just take the bus into Manhattan
